I bought one, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I’ve considered purchasing a “premium” PCC (example: CMMZ banshee) and honestly don’t think there’s a reason to since I now own this $420 PCC. HUGE value. Totally reliable. Extremely light. USA-made. Fun as heck. Just get one! You won’t regret it!
I just ordered one. May I ask if you know how many rounds you've got through it? How it's holding up and if you've had any malfunctions?

Out of box best pistol in its class . I have a scorpion 🦂 and mpx and extar beats them both out of box 📦 and it is awesome with bfs 3 trigger .
hella yeah brotha glad to hear this little $500 guy can compare to some of the bigger guys! Makes me feel that much better about the purchase and thats nutty you put a Binary in there must be a boat load of fun. I'm still on the fence about putting an aftermarket in.
Bdoc92 the factory trigger is great 👍 I wouldn’t change it . Had a Franklin living around just wanted to see if it would work . I changed the break also . Been trying to tell people how dope it is .
@@stanleyhall6102 one of the reasons I made the video trying to spread some knowledge around on something cheaper that fits the PDW bill.And I agree about the trigger definitely can't complain only concern is it's mainly plastic lol but that's what keeps cost down.
@@bdoc9244 A set of Kaw Valley blue springs for about $7 is the best money you can spend. Went from 7lbs 5 ozs to 4lbs 3 ozs.

Extar is best value...know doubt. Luv mine. Everybody that shoots it loves it. Without the kawvalley can...it fits perfectly in a soprano/concert ukelele case ;)
Sine you're just starting out your channel, check out tactical tool box recent monitization TH-cam video. Just trying to help you out so you can (I hate to say) comply with their rules so you can make some dough. Also feed in some live fire in your vids. Good luck.
Thanks for looking out. I have actually had this on my mind the last few days.. i haven't had a good tripod setup till now so there will be plenty on more future videos:D and as far as making money I don't ever see myself doing that on here lol I'd be lucky enough to get a box of ammo for some range time. This has been more or less to pass the time and try to just connect with other people in the community. Which has been working! Thanks again man.

Thanks for the video! I don't know whether I'll ever be able to buy another firearm, but this one is on my list right now. I like the idea of a muzzle device that pushes everything forward as that one does. I also like that little flashlight.

I bought this pistol and love it!! I use it for home defense.
It sure is an awesome pistol and really cant be beat for the price.
I'm thinking about doing the same with mine, except I've got kids, so need to find a decent trigger lock since it won't fit in my handgun quick release safe.

Its funny you say that i actually shoot pistol righty but shouldered lefty. I will have a few in my next Extar ep9 Video it will be a shooting one with tips!

I honestly can't tell the difference and for me it's much more practical.

I too have the EP9, the Romeo from sig, the angled grip, just a different flashlight! I love that Pistol it’s the best bang for your buck hands down!!!!!!!!!! That and the Taurus G2 can’t beat either in bang for buck

Right? I have both. Had a G2 for years and now The G43x and the P365 are setting the market on fire with the same concept Taurus had years ago. Mine runs great
@@michaelfranchek331 if they put a better trigger in it, it would probably be held on the same tier as glock and sig. Function and reliability is definitely there.
I have many guns in my station this one is my favorite I have run 1,500 rounds through it never a jam

Its funny you say that I shoulder lefty but shoot pistols righty it's weird, I haven't seen anyone who does that besides me. It just feels natural.

@@kevinbolger143 it shouldn't be a problem to put an ambi in it. For me I'm so used to functioning my AR without one (even though I have one now lol) I'll probably get to it eventually on my extar
Silly rules, angled grip ok, vertical grip is NFA Tax stamp process. Length of brace- be careful that it does not exceed 13.5 inches, otherwise considered an SBR.
I keep watching reviews to see if anyone has had any cycling issues and I can't find any. It seems super reliable and costs under $500, What's not to like?

I just bought one question how do you clean it. I was told no oil just wipe the internals down with C.L.P.

Considering the height of the top rail I would want to get a red dot like the one you have so the height over bore isn’t too great. Is there a way to have flip up iron sights that will co witness with your red dot or is it too short?
I dont believe you can get irons that co-witness if you find some please do let me know

Customer service is worthless at Extar. They won't honor the warranty. About 500 rounds through the gun and the firing pin binds in the bolt causing light strikes. It's useless now because I used reman ammo. Like anyone can afford new ammo for the range

As a lefty, how do you use the charging handle on the left side?
typically will hold the firearm with my supporting hand then charge with my left

5:16 why did you have to press the bolt catch to lock it back? Did the ets mag not engage the bolt stop?

What's the best drop free 30+ round mags to run on this Factory Glock, ETS?
The ets have been doing just fine. Factorys tend to to be a little more snug some people do a little sanding and it helps with that.
I hope this isn't stupid question, but can a hand stop be installed on lower rail w/o making it illegal. Thanks for the review.
A handstop is perfectly legal on a pistol. Just no vertical grips.

i would say it is.
I see that you are not using a red dot riaser. Is the rail high enough to run the dot with out one.
it sits high so i don't feel the need for the riser.

Good review but there's another in it's class that matches up with the Ep9...the Chiappa Pak 9 9mm AK PCC...450 to 500 dollars
That is a good pistol but from what i am seeing it doesn't come with a brace ($80-$200 depending on what you want) and after tax, shipping, and FFL fees your going well over the $500 mark. This was right under $500 for all that. Thanks for the input if someone wanted to go a slight different route that would be a great choice and ill recommend.
@@bdoc9244 you are right mine didn't come with a brace...but now on GunBroker I see them with the brace under 500...then you have the option to use Beretta or Glocks with the adapter...I think the Ep9 and Pak9 are the best braced budget PCCs on the market...but all in all you did a good job on the review keep em coming...
It definitely is another great option at around the $500 price point. I truly do appreciate it man, I have only been doing these videos for a few weeks and I think I've learned more then I have taught.
Is that a magpul angled grip? What all angled grips will fit?
any standard angled forgrip will work. just make sure its angled.
How much does this thing weigh? Also, does it take normal AR grips and stocks?

Unfortunately not its has its own proprietary system. all though there is a few people out there working on something that would make it work. i dont have links but its in forums will have to look around hopefully in the next year or so someone will 3d print something we can use :D fingers crossed.

30 round ETS mag all though i will report i did have a malfunction with the magazine last week at the range.
Does anyone know if the safety can be reversed or is there another solution for us lefties?

Nope not at all. Its a pistol. What makes it a pistol is that there is a "Brace" (which was originally designed to be used to brace against you're forarm but now you can shoulder) instead of a standard stock. Also i have an angled forgrip instead of a vertical forgrip a vertical would also make it an SBR. Honestly its asinine and really make no sense i'm going to do a video on that exact topic here in the future.
I'm only currently up to date with all the laws in the state I live in. I would recommend Google. I wouldn't want to give you advice that would get you in trouble

Damn you're FFL needs to be up to date on these things. He should definitely know the differences between all that. My FFL had never even heard of it when I was ordering it and when it came in he was impressed. They only stay on sale online for like 10 minutes I swear it took me over a month to get mine ordered.
Annnnd I just did the research . no hallow points.. 10 round magazine cap, and You unfortunately can not buy that in the state of NJ because it classifies as an "assult firearm" sorry man sad day to be a gun owner in NJ.
