Great video, despite the missing footage! Fully agree with your assessment of the "greatest paint of all time". Like, I love the Fanatic paints, but in terms of saturation they can't really compete with most of what's in AK or Pro Acryl's range. However, thos epaints are much thinner in consistency and regularly break down on my wet palette after prolonged painting sessions, while the Fanatics just stay creamy. Looking forward to see your review of the complete set and I will withhold my criticisms until you release that video to not stain you with bias.
Appreciate the support! I absolutely love the Fanatics! Like I kind of mentioned, I think all paints are a tool to skill expression. I know people who live and die by Pro Acryl and other paint ranges, but either way I think we can all agree that we are in a golden age of miniature painting!
Thank you ❤️ Absolutely steal away! I think anyone can achieve something truly incredible with just about anything, but the new Fanatic paints gives the most tools to help make the expression easier! 🤘🤘 And those Speedpaint Metallics were sooooo good!
I'd say they are both comparable, but I find a more consistent level of coverage of the Warpaints Fanatic. I personally prefer the heavier pigment of the Fanatic line because it can easily reduce it to whatever level you need it to without it breaking apart. Not to mention I like the 6 triad scheme. More flexibility on colors 👍
Filmmaking tip, your video is distractingly over exposed and it the light is too hard, it’s casting hard shadows on you and the background. I suspect you either have one super bright light set up or you’re using a window and getting a lot of harsh natural sunlight. Your best bet is to get some sort of soft filter to soften that light up. Even if it’s using parchment paper. That will help with some of the hard shadows. A second fill light coming from the opposite angle will help as well and the goal should be to eliminate both the hard shadows and the blown out super white spots. Some shadows are good, but right now only the middle of your face opposite the light source is properly exposed. Keep playing with it. Lighting is fucking hard and a PITA. You got this!
Oh absolutely. Right now my gear is pretty much non-existent. I've got a flexible head lamp from college and a LiFX wireless bulb 🤣 And yeah in the room I film, I get a lot of light from the window. Appreciate the feedback!
You're welcome, but THANK YOU for coming and hanging out and trying the new range. See you at the next one.
Absolutely! You all are the best ❤️🤘

Where is that orc model from? Great video!
Thank you very much! I got it off of Etsy from a vendor called BrakaonBitz 🤘
Nice job. Keep up the good work... I hope your channel grows.
Thank you very much for the support! ❤️🤘
Love this! ❤ Stealing "skill expression"... this was a great overall analysis.

How do you compare fanatic to two thin coats. Which brand of paint do you prefer?

Cool 👍
Vince Venturella is notoriously VERY fussy about metallics and he loves Speedpaint Metallics 👍
True! I saw his video before I went and I was like, "Well if Vince really likes them then there's gotta be something to them!" Lol 😂
Having used his favored Vallejo metal color paints quite a bit, I found metallic speedpaint 2.0 very comparable.
Woo we live!
I almost forgot to log on for it too! Crushing it over here 😂

@@TattooedTabletopdef try putting up some parchment paper in front of the window when you film. It’ll make a WORLD of difference.
