I don't think we'd take any of the praise for the new Fanatic line seriously if they censored any talk about the poor quality of their previous War Paint lineup or were pretending it was great, or even good.

This video is so well done that I'm in shock that it's from a paint company. Such great storytelling and camera/editing work. The pay off at the end with five medals, heartwarming. Perfect video.

Haven't used this yet, but everyone involved in the creation of 'Peachy Flesh' Speedpaint 2.0 needs a raise, and a statue. Incredible achievement in paint technology.

For Army Painter to go to these lengths to show off their new paints and to critique speaks VOLUMES. It truly goes to show how big of a deal the breakthrough was for their new stabilizer. I love what Army Painter stands for and how they operate. Admittedly, I've gone to other paints, but now I'm unbelievably thrilled to get my hands on their new range. To hear so many reviews overwhelmingly say "this is fun!" Brings joy to my heart.
So many people are trying to cultivate things out to focus groups, one thing I respect a lot and why Army Painter has become a go to for me is because they put their product in peoples hands that they want to buy their product. From beginners at the more casual shows and booths to professional painters. Who would be better to get the approval of than your own audience before you put something on sale? Kudos to all at the Army Painter

I have the original mega set, and the airpaints mega set, and some speed paint 1.0.
The dedication to the hobby, feedback, and community outreach of Army Painter means I'll be upgrading and sticking with them. Can't wait to see the new paints!
Can't wait for these to release individually. I don't have the money to buy the complete set. I'm going to start evangelizing Army Painter I think, they seem to actually want to improve their products.

As a commission painter i really hope you guys hit the mark. I currently use pro acryl and Gen 3 AK. Ive pre ordered the full set hope im not let down. Keep up the great work.
As a newbie, who started with a few pro acryl and AP SpeedPaints 1.0, I am tempted to to also preorder the full set just because of how impressed I was with the colors of the speed paints and how well they airbrush over.
Given the cost of it, i'd be curious what people like you choose in the longrun when you have all 3 on your desk. Do you have a IG/channel to follow?
@@mugetzua few people I watched have compared the Fanatic in the same tier as AK 3re gen and Pro Acryl, specifically Vince Venturella and Tale of Painters.Those can probably give you some references.
@@CoconutCheezI've seen the same. They are saying AP needed to reinvent itself to catch up to the modern top tier paints. They have achieved that goal but aren't a new standard in paints; I was going to order their complete set but they don't ship to my country.
@@mugetzu I'm in a similar boat in Canada. If your local hobby stores carry AP, they may be able to pre-order on your behalf from their supplier, which is what I did.
@@CoconutCheez another method is to use a Montana Mail box. It's it in the US and they ship it north. Great way to get around most shipping issues. How I got my paintbrushes from the US that didn't want to ship to Canada. I'm Albertan (Edmonton), see if your province has a similar option.
I bought the mega set after watching all the reviews.
And I have to say, not only do I love these paints, but I think that they have helped to improve my painting skills overall because of how smooth and consistent the whole range is.

The commitment your company has to getting user input is admirable. I enjoyed the series with the TH-cam creators for Speedpaint 2.0 and I found this quite compelling as well. I won't lie, your brand is not the first I reach for at the hobby shop, but everything you're doing is making me reconsider. Really well thought out product development and marketing. Kudos.
completly dumped my previous paints for armypainter as soon as i got my hands on the Version 1 Speedpaints. Now i own the whole Version 2 range and most warpainst. Really looking forward to the Fanatic paints. I think if one owns the V2 Speedpaints and the Fanatic range, youre set up for life. Thx armypainter!
I’ll admit, I actually tried brush licking for the first time last night. It makes the brush tip like a needle. I guess I’m a brush licker now 🤷🏼♂️

I just want to comment about how much I value Army Painter's continuous improvement and pushing the quality of its products higher to compete on the market. I can see how much time and effort Army Painter really put into trying to put out a good product and I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Army Painter as I paint more and more minis. For me, I have purchased both the Speed paint line and a mega paint set of the fanatic range, and I am happy to know that although I may never be a competition level painter; that the products I use are of good quality made by a company that is committed to good pricing, and clear about it's processes with the consumer. So long as Army Painter continues to support the average hobbyist like me, I will support them.
Nice job Army Painter -- you've gone to great lengths to get feedback and it's very clear high end painters are happy with the new line. Exciting stuff!
I've used GW paints my entire life. The idea of these new paints really excite me. The old GW crafting tool used instead of a hobby knife. It's become a tool to get paint out of the lid caps. I love all the content you have put out on these 2.0 paints. I put a lot of effort behind keeping and growing the local community. I'm always showing people how to paint better or painting models for them. I'm the guy with parkinsons and if I can make it look this good. Just think what you could do. It's what I tell everyone. I offer to help them learn as well as providing positive feedback. I used to play BattleTech until the model scales became so out off control. I moved on to 40k until fine cast (enough said). Now I'm made the full circle and came back to BattleTech. Bringing Anthony Scroggins on helped a lot. I'm all about scale. Trust me when I say people notice (elementals). I wish there was a way you could see just how much someone like me makes a difference. I plan on buying your complete line of paints but with my surgeries . I have my paint table a fold out coffee table, gw paints, army painter brushes , and an army painter wet pallet. BattleTech models on top of all of it. It's quite the spectacle. I wish I could share a photo of it
I cant wait for these paints to arrive. I only started my painting hoby in Jan this year using the speed paints 2.0 most wanted set and have now just pre ordered the Warpaints Fanatic: Mega Set - Combo today. Let to painting adventure begin.

Pre-ordered the complete set through my LGS! Absolutely can't wait to get these paints in March! I use the Warpaints Air and Speedpaint 2.0 paints for all of my miniatures and am looking forward to adding these into the mix. The paints I am looking forward to the most are Cobalt Metal and the Dark Blue Tone wash, as I think they will go great for my Alpha Legion!
9:29 Magnus Fagerberg is ridiculously talented. His "messing around" paint job look like something that would have taken days to complete.

From what I heard and seen these paints look amazing and I've always been a big fan of army painter products I use the speed paints and wet pallete ext. It would be a dream to able to try these

I love that The Army Painter is showing their process of sharing these new paints in these recent videos. I was one of the people who was not very impressed by the old line, however, I am very excited for fanatic to come out. Also, they just seem like a good company who cares about their customers opinions. And thank you for keeping your prices reasonable as well! Keep up the good work!!

Currently own the entire Pro Acryl line so I hate the thought of buying into a new brand, but on the day I do it will probably be with this set. Love seeing the different styles of such great artists.
I have no comments that would suffice for my respect for you as a company but I'm gonna try. Being able to admit to faults and criticism is rare and doing something about it is even more rare. I started miniature painting using your products and have continued to champion them throughout my hobby. Between your Air, SpeedPaints 2.0 and now Fanatics, I can honestly say that you guys should be VERY proud of how you have completely redeveloped your line, brand, and image in roughly 3 years. You should be proud and know that we hobbyists are rooting for you!
So admire the passion going into this project and can’t wait to test them out!

I have pre-ordered the Fanatic Complete Set, I was already like 80% sure but this video completely sold me and I'm very excited to get my hands on them!!! I also recently got Speedpaint 2.0 Complete set, I've been loving them for glazing in colour interest and shadows. Great job all at AP, I think you are going to end up with a very strong lineup of products that hobbyists love! Might need to check out Air Paints next :D

Arym Painter burshes and wet pallet are my go to atm, and ive bought a couple of the older range of paints, i think i may have to treat myself to some of these paints in the very near future

I just preordered the mega set (couldn't get the complete set due to storage at the moment), can't wait to try out all its virtues and vices.
I have never has an issue with the OG Warpaints & they did what they needed to do... Paint armies. I have have done WW2 Germans & American, TYW Swedish & HRE, all painted to table top standard without issues. Although I do not need to replace any of my OG Warpaints at the moment I look forwarded to try the Fanatic series in the future.
I started with your mega paint set, then grabbed your speedpaint mega set 2.0, I’ll be buying the mega fanatic set as well because I love your paints but my only critique is you should provide 5 bottles of your strong tone wash in every box, it’s too damn good.

I'm just waiting for a set that includes all acrylics without washes, metallics and effect paints (I'm just not using those in general). I'm really looking forward to the flexible triad system and only the complete set really offers them. So only waiting for that acrylics-only set to order it 🙂
Just got started on trying to custom paint my necrons. Have never really done anything beyone normal silver and green before but I'm currently waiting on the speedpaints 2.0 box to arrive.
Does anyone have tips on how to do either an ice material or a porcelain white?

What Roman was saying is that the white gets overpowered easily when used to mix paints. This is due to the saturation of pigment in the colours. But the white has received the same treatment: more pigment, Stabilizer, improved coverage and consistency, just be prepared to use more white when mixing or try the lighter how from the Triad ;)

So, I've been printing and painting DnD minis for a few years now and I have come to that point where I need to restock my paints and actually invest time and effort and research into stepping up my painting!
Lucky for Army painter but bad for me! lol I have just pre ordered the complete set! :)
As someone who..... I know what colour I want to use... But I need to see it infront of me! I can't just goto the shop and say, "oh! I want that colour" I need to try it out to and see it. I am REALLY looking forward to trying out the Triad system and having such a wide array to choose from!
Just such a shame there's still 2 and a half months before release! :( But that give me plenty of time to print a lot of models to get ready for some long painting sessions! :)
I think Complete Set owners deserve an invitation to the company picnic.

My biggest thing is hoping the yellows go on good. Right now, any brand I try, yellow is so difficult. Some blues too. But every demo I see that uses the yellow, it looks like it goes on so good.
And my biggest wonder is how the whites work. Every white I use, again, across all brands, seems to be really chalky and I'm hoping Fanatic isn't like that.
What flavour are they?
Is there any word of when we will see the Fanatic bottles actually hit store shelves for purchase?
Please tell me the full set will be available to buy long after the pre-purchase period because sadly I can't afford it after this years holidays. :/. Really really want it though because it seems awesome.
We have forecasted adequately. If for some reason we do sell out after the first run, there will be other high-value options to build your range.

It's marked Limited Edition because it is a limited run set as it is just SO BIG that it’s not sustainable long term for retail. That said, there is no need to panic, we have many set options and other bundles in the works that will make building your collection a breeze down the road. We have also forecasted plenty, so it's unlikely to run out right away.

The street date for them is March 16th. The Complete Set is a limited run set though as the set is just SO BIG that it’s not sustainable long term for retail. Is there anyway you can make the paints a little less thick, so all of the paints i notice need to be thinned considerably and definitely not ready out of the pot. The vallejo metal colors seem to have a better shine, consistency than your metals do. I appreciate the changes to the army paints, and it looks alot better, but the amount of work to get them to have a good flow, is a detterent to me. Mainly for the metal paints, but others too. Some of the effect paint, like the two rust colors look a little off to me, but ill play around with them first. I think when you do things like this, you could get average painters too, rather than getting only pro painters. The majority of us are just hobbyists. Not complaining, it's early and they look so much better than previous paints. I dont know if ill use them over monument pro acrylic but its a good endeavor, and ill at least try them
We had painters of all skill levels providing feedback during the process of creating these, not just pro painters :) We hope you enjoy using Warpaints Fanatic when they release!
@@TheArmyPainter well that makes more sense, in the video and they all seemed to know each other, and get along well, and had good techniques so I wrongly assumed, sorry for that. I didn't have all the information to make that statement.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some at some point to see how a noob painter can mess these up... also, were the painters putting their brushes on their tongue?
Not recommended but it does help to form a perfect tip to your brushes.
