Just came on here to see how this clip went that I did a few years ago and I'm blown away to see how many positive comments and views it's had. Glad it's helped so many people 🙂🔥🔥🔥
@@SurvTeeunfortunately sounds like the none return valve in the filling loop has malfunctioned and you will need to replace the filling loop I'm afraid!
Thank you for the straight to the point information. The guy before you was lecturing us on the science behind the expansion vessel and different materials used. I just want to wash the dishes.
😂 wash the dishes. I just want to wash my hands after some gardening. ....then throw the dishes in the dishwasher. Job sorted though after this video 😊
Well that was a total breeze, it's Friday and I probably would have had to wait all weekend for a bloke to come out as my landlord doesn't work Fridays. Your a legend for posting this. Lifesaver!
Omg! That was so helpful, I was at home on my own and the heating went off, I followed your instructions and the error message has gone and the heating is coming back on, thank you so much
This was a really helpful video. The instructions were easy to us to follow this morning. Thank you for making this!! You saved us the headache and panic of not having heating or hot water over the weekend, since British Gas would not send engineer out until Tuesday!
Thank you so much! I was home on my own and had the same problem - no heating or hot water. I followed this video and now the error message has gone and the boiler is working again.
Bled radiators as coming to that time to use heating and this year obviously need max efficiency because of sky high costs!! Found the hot water was out this morning. Knew it could be the pressure but moved to a new house so don’t know this boiler, but waited to the end of this video and luckily you covered all types of taps including the rings. Thanks for the very informative video!! Really helpful.
Thank you very much, your a life saver, my boiler pressure was low and it was absolutely freezing in my house so I had a look on utube and watched your video and heating is back up and working, thank.
Nice one! Really helpful. Have repressurised many a boiler at the start (and sometimes during) each winter, but couldn't work out which tap was which on this one. Gave up reading the manual after 20mins, and sorted it within seconds of watching this video. Thanks for uploading 👏
Thanks for that I bled our radiators a few days ago and today we have no hot water so knowing its difficult to get repairs done I looked how to on youtube and got your video we have the two black round turners that you showed at the end of the video. There were 2 black finials at the back but we decided to try the round ones at the front (on the right hand side) worked a treat. So when I bleed my radiators in the future I will check the boiler too. Always make sure you have a good torch or like me I used the torch on my mobile or I would be getting an extension lead out and using my bed side lamp.
Thank you mr lifesaver. I called an engineer for help many times and I am exhausted. But today I found your video and it is very precise and clear. I earned you like, comment and subscribe.Thank you 🎉
oh my goodness thanks so much for your video!!! i lost pressure in my boiler due to bleeding my radiator, i was panicking because my boiler stopped working and my radiator was cold but after watching your video it helped fix my problem 😀
Thanks for this video, I tried to raise the pressure by turning the black knobs but they seem to turn without an ‘end’ turn (sorry not a technical term). Is this normal? Please, could anyone advise on what to do?
Superb video. Watch the whole thing for the different types of inlet loops! Especially the loop with two valves, each with black knobs. My place is cosy and warm again. Thanks
thank you sosoososososo much....didnt have a clue until this video and truned the black knobs to get water pressure back.....much appreciated on freezing day.
Great video but you don’t go on to say if pressure keeps dropping due to a leak and water dripping from underneath what to do and what could be causing this
This is the most useful guide I've seen so far. If you don't have a filling loop mine seems to be missing what's the best course of action? Call an engineer?
Thanks for this! I have the dual knobs, as per 2:35 - is there any reason why, when not filling the system, you need to keep BOTH knobs closed? It doesn't look like there would be anywhere for the water to go if I kept one open and one closed
God bless you, soooo easy to follow. I ve now cancelled my plumber appt. I ve been with heating and hot water since last week. I’m indeed v grateful 🤗❤️🥰💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Thank you so much for that. I call cunsill just 10 min ago and they told me that someone will come in Wednesday ....... I have 5 years old and im pregnet . So they still told me that no emergency . Good you post that because I will need to wait for someone who will fix for me till Wednesday
Why does the boiler need to be pressurised in order for the hot taps to work? surely the central heating system is separate to the hot taps system, isn't it? And we're pressurising the heating system and not the hot water. I'm baffled. please explain.
I did it and got my heating and hot water back, seems alright now but I couldn't get one of the taps back in line with the pipe. Can you advise on this?
@@jeffrybungle2502 problem for me is one of the valves isn’t turning. It’s completely stuck. This happened last time and I was able to turn it, but just after an annual gas check, somethings not right. Pressures gone down and one of the valves isn’t turning
On my pottert on boiler I can see my pressure is low. However it's not saying E119 and I'm getting heat and everything. Do I need to turn the boiler off before repressurise it ? I ask because the only time I've repressurise is when it says E119 .
Hi, I turned both valves as described in your first demonstration and had no water running through like I expected and as I've had on previous boilers I've had to do this with, can you help?
Hi, that's a really helpful video but I have a question: I have located the filling loop on my boiler, however, one of the tap valves has no plastic end attached to it to open it. What can I do in this case?
That looks identical to my boiler at the front, but underneath I have completely different types of taps that I have to turn to pressurize - and it's not as simple as just one turn, I have to unscrew them for many rotations to open and then close.
Ive just moved into a rented house with this boiler. Pressure was low so Landlord came and sorted it. The pipe outside is now leaking water and I have had to put a bucket under it. I'm waiting for the gas safety inspection to be done!! I want to get a plumber out but he said I am not allowed to.

Thank You J Stevens. So simple, but if you don't know.. I think you just saved me £80 for a call out. Thanks Bud !!!😁
Ims triglging to get mine to fill, turn nobs and nothing happens
Been coming back to this for years lol, can you tell me when the pressure bar doesn’t move what Can I do?

Just what I needed. Very helpful video and explanation. Thank you
Thank you, this is third time I’ve used your video I think! It definitely a common fault and I double check everytime as I’m scared of gas things 😂
Before this video I was never able to do it by myself so thank you so much ☑️
Thank you Sir just fixed my 94yr old Aunty boiler after watching your brilliant video 👍👍

Excellent advice, though mine is configured differently; one lever on a silver braid the other on the boiler.

Thank you so much for this
Thankyou!!!!....thrilled!!!
i just fixed my heating issue! thank you God, thank you video!
Dude your a star...
when you say to turn them inline with the pipe it looks like you turn them 90 deg so they aint in line anymore
Thanks. The video is amazing with clear information.
This video Amazon really helpful 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thank you mate
I did it and got my heating and hot water back, seems alright now but I couldn't get one of the taps back in line with the pipe. Can you advise on this?
Thanks so helpful! Did my neighbour boiler. ❤️
Worked perfectly, thank you mate!
Thanks man.This was very helpful
so easy to understand, thank you.
This method usually helps but at this property, the taps have no pressure in them at all. What do I do now?!
Thank you 🙏🏻 I can’t believe I’ve been without hot water and heating for 2 weeks !! It’s as simple as that 😫
Nothing, open the valves….fuck all

Nice one, mine are the last sort, couldnt work it out so thanks
What is the main reason for pressure loss though?? Mine did not lose any pressure during summer, and now autumn is here it starts to lose pressure !
How do you fix it properly so the pressure don’t go down my pressure goes down every 5 days
Thank you, you're the greatest !
