    Thanks - worked like a dream. The valve on the left was really stiff so I had to take the handle off and loosen it with a spanner. Now it is back to pressure and we are warm again.!

    Thank you very much. I had this error code appear on my boiler. It has happened before but, so long ago I forgot which 'taps' to turn and needed to re-fresh my memory. I'd seen previous You Tube videos on this by others which had been good and helpful (hence the previous fix) but, searching again, I found your video this time around.
    I found yours the easiest to follow (the fact that is was the exact same Baxi boiler was a bonus).
    Your video was a straight-forward easy to follow set of instructions, clearly spoken explanation, and the accompanying video illustrated each step and the relevant components. As such I remedied the problem in seconds. Thank you once again.

    Thanks for this. I’ve got exactly the same boiler and the pressure dropped below 1 recently without showing error. I just tried to fix it following the steps but I couldn’t move the blue valve on the left for some reasons. It just remains in the off position and can’t be turned on...I can move the right one tho not sure what’s the problem 😩

    Thanks

    • @developer.diaries1051
      @developer.diaries1051  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm not sure without seeing a picture of the valve in question, however the outside valves are normally open otherwise water won't circulate in the central heating loop. The filling loop should be closed otherwise t will continue to pressurise the central heating loop. It could be a leak somewhere in the central heating system and nothing to do with the valves. This could be in the boiler itself if the expansion vessel has failed or anywhere in the circuit or radiators. Additionally, it could be a faulty pressure relief valve - the drain pipe should be outside and may be dripping. Most leaks are on the fittings into our out of a radiator or towel rail so unfortunately you may need to check each one for a possible weeping leak. There are tools to help with this as you may not see the leak as it can run down the pipe and not be visible. Apologies I couldn't have been of more help - if unsure please do call a plumber.

    Hi got my pressure ok No warning errors Batts new in room stat, turn temp up flame shows on room stat, eg 21
    go to boiler, on wall stat no light on prog but light on channel, so i take it receiver and stat are paired
    if boiler comes on, turning room stat down to 15 turns boiler off
    try turning temp back up eg, 21
    receiver channel next to boiler light on pressure ok
    boiler wont re ignite unless i reset the room stat
    new batts fitted
    why must i have to reset to have the boiler ignite

      Once you have put the pressure between 1 and 2.5 bar, it should find the optimal number it will settle at. If you are still worried call the plumber that services your boiler, he may just tell you over the phone.
