Loved hearing the tip about using Bar Keeper's Friend on copper. I have 2 huge candy making kettles that will be much easier to clean now. Also love your 2 cute doggies. The bookend one is adorable. Wish we had such good consignment shops here in Seattle but things in the Pacific Northwest are much newer. An old house would be 1890's. Nothing from the 1700's.

Great finds! I especially love the little dog book ends and the little copper ladles. I remember growing up, we had a large cast iron old sailing ship as a door stop. I still remember thinking how beautiful the lines of it were. I am 72 now, don't know whatever happened to it through all the family moves. But I can still picture every detail of its beauty to this day.
