OHHH BEV, I does my heart good to hear that Riley is doing sooo much better. I was a Foster Mom of a Special Needs Girl for 5 yrs. She had 4 handicaps, Rotating scoliosis, Cera palsy, cordially blind, and microcephalic brain. The first time I meet my brother Al, he had Cera palsy, and walked on his toes, also. As I watch him learning how to ride a bike, he kept falling off and getting up laughing hysterically, with his 2 buddies who were teaching him how to ride his bike. That was the moment I met MY first SUPER HERO. RILEY, AL, & KATIE are our SUPER HEROS, bcz they have something special in them, that we can only experience through their lives that change us forever. MY KATIE, I needed her more than she needed me.

This wall is lovely. I could see the wall painted a soft moss green. Just think color would totally make all the beautiful art pop. My favorite is the black and brass little pot with the drippy candles under the cloche. Perfection, I too, love drippy candles. And when I can't find the beeswax color I love... I have taken to painting the outside of the candle a warm buttery color. Gives the warm visual I am so fond of.

Its so hard to see those we love facing challenges & seeing them in pain, so happy to hear things are looking up ❤ I love the wall and the refinished window and door, so rich & pretty! Decorating brings me joy when I can transform my vision. I usually end up with something better after a few days of asjustments. Still loving how your mixing the blue & white & blk & white ready to try it. I have to be in the right mood. My lovley neice sent me the Mckenzie Childs big lanterns for Mothers day they are so amazing but so tall I couldnt find the right candles until I put fake brushed gold candlesticks with the battery candles until I could get big tall candles but realized they were perfect. Love those kind of mistakes, now just waiting on the barn sale to see what I can find for her. Always brightens my day and inspires me to see your beautiful home full of surprises ❤

It's unusual to see windows in the same room with different finishes, but I think it works, particularly in spaces with lots of textures and colors.
