my question is in regards to situation 2 can that error simply be the bed is leveled to low and that its not a code issue just a user error?
I’m having an issue where after I create the mesh of points, I discover they are not accurate. There are times where the points are spot on or need minor correction with a sheet of paper, and then there are times where the nozzle is significantly off and the filament doesn’t stick to the bed, and I have to manually fix the mesh with a piece of paper. Any fixes to this?
Edit: I am using a CR Touch and Jyers’ 5x5 BL Touch Mesh.
I have an ender 3 pro with bl touch setup. Everything worked fine even the first print came our perfect. But when I go to give another print the while doing an auto bed leveling via start gcode, probing stopped at 7/9 point. I tried multiple ways to rectify. When I turned off the printer and tried again it worked fine. Not sure if it's issue with eeprom
Error:Probing Failed. I'm running an Ender 3 V2 with Smith3D-E3V2-2.0.x.16-5x5-Slow-100121 firmware. It had been working great for about a year. Then I started getting low hot end temp alarms, but I fixed that with tuning (I included in this comment in case it turns out to be relevant. I'm getting a probing error (with BL Touch) at random points during the G29 bed leveling step. I'm doing a 5x5 leveling grid. Sometimes it fails early, sometimes late, but rarely makes it through the whole bed without failing. I've manually leveled my bed. My Z-offset is -2.35mm. I have also replaced the BL Touch connectors with the correct JST type XH connector (I thought error was caused from the BL touch connector was making intermittent contact). I've also checked to make sure the bed is high enough so the BL Touch probe detects the bed before factor Z-home microswitch is tripped, although if I manually trip this during the bed leveling, it is ignored, so that is definitely not the problem. I'm stumped. I don't know what else to try. I've also checked my bed to make sure it's not (badly) warped. It's as flat as I can detect with a straight-edge. HELP!!
You can check every item mentioned in the video, the firmware configuration should be incorrect
Check that the wires are shielded. Fixed my problems after weeks of troubleshooting
Hi, I have a geeetech A30m, and it wont use the data from the 3d touch, or its uses the old data, becouse 3d model its always loose to the right and thight too the left.
Is the data useless after re-leveling? What motherboard and screen are you using? Did you save and load the data after leveling?
I have a problem with 3dTouch.
The probe doesn't want to deploy no matter what I do. I have installed different firmware several times and rotated pins but still same behavior.
What could be the problem? Shielding? Pinout? How can I debug it?
Printer is Ender 3v2

When I press home or autolevel it homes x and y and goes to the center of the bed. When there, the bl touch will extend its thing and just stay there. After a while it will give the error: 'PRINTER HALTED"
EDIT: found the problem, I accidently switched the E and Z cables why upgrading main board
hi, i just bought 3d touch. it homes x and y axes and it goes for leveling test.but it straight goes to center,checks 2 times then stops.why it doesnt check 9 point of the bed?
This is an incorrect configuration of the firmware, did you follow our tutorial to configure it?
the solution definetly isnt to set the maximum offset higher, but to level your bed.... if youre printing a part at like 150mm, youll have around 1.5mm skew in it in the Z, /=| where the | is the top layer and / is the bed....
My bl touch flashes but not deploy tried to reset bl touch also tried to deploy or stow nothing works
I'm tempted to throw the BLTouch agaisnt a wall and bulldozer over it.
The BLTouch does it's selftest correctly when I turn on the power. But after that it just stops.
It wont do a manual selftest, or deploy (it does have a small blue light that turns on, but the VLTouch itself is red when the probe is retracted).
When I autohome the probe stays retracted and just wants to crash on my bed.
I checked the wiring, but everything looks OK. Even did try to wire it differently but it either doesnt fit or doesnt even do the power on selftest or becomes red.
It's on an Ender 3 Pro with the V4.2.2 mainboard. BLTouch is Smart V3.1
I need to use the Pinboard A because the wiring and cannot insert it directly on the board because the order of the 3 pins are: SIG (yellow), GND (blue) and VCC (red).
The 2 pins are in the Zstop on the board (black to the left, white to the right)

Hi, my bl touch levels bed when I manually ask it to. So I go onto the printer screen and click bed levelling and it probs all 9 points. However, when I start a print and it levels the bed again it'll go into the middle of the bed and go all the way down and the nozzle and no touch crash into the bed
Did you add an automatic leveling command to Gcode? What instruction did you add

hi i got a problem with my bl touch on cr 10s when i set z-offset in the correct way and i proceed to print the bed get automatically leveled by bl touch but the print start with the nozzle always lower hitting the bed
Hello, is the nozzle kept pressing on the hot bed? This is the value of z_offset is too large, you need to reduce the value, and then need to re-leveling

@@gabg116 i Just used the printer interface because pronterface wasnt saving the offset and i Just lower the bed with the knobs most as i can
i have just installed the 3D touch on my Ender 3 Pro and when getting it to Bed level, the probe extends but fails to stop, the nozzle crashes into the bed so i have to power off. any ideas anyone? many thanks.
You need to check whether the white signal line of 3Dtouch is connected to the enabled pin on the motherboard
Not sure if this was fixed, but bltouch version 3.0 had issues like that. Pretty sure it got fixed with the touch 3.1, but if you have the 3 then teaching tech has a video going over solutions
I'm trying to make 3d touch work on my brand new ender2 pro and it doesnt work. It is going up on the Z-axis but it never goes down, even if I manually want to move the Z-axis down - it doesn't go.

My Bltouch on ender 3 pro is weird. It doesn't deploy or stow, only stays stuck in a position. The LED turns on when force is applied, but without it stowing I cannot print.
Is this 3Dtouch working normally before? Or is the newly installed one not working properly?
I don't understand why we need a Z-endStop with the probe. Is it mandatory?

I managed to get it working on my CR-10s5 for 3 prints. Wire came free. After re installing the hotend keeps crashing into bed and probe does not deploy.

I installed 3dtouch on TwoTrees SP-5. When Auto level button is hit it homes all axis, asks for z offset, and then does nothing. Please help!

I have a bltouch on ender 3 pro. when I set it to home the z axis. It homes y and x first. The z axis will lift up and start to do the homing in mid air. I’ve tried different kinds of software and I’ve checked the wiring like 1000000 times and it looks good.

Same problem. Z axis isn't gong down. Did you guys also remove the Z-endstop and did you plug all wires in the BLtouch slot?

@@torcek1991 Yes! It was a connection issue. I reseated the plug and secured it with hot glue. Working perfectly since.
why did 3d touch come with a resistor what am i susposed to do with it

My BLtouch is just blinking red. Also wont move Z axis down..Also the z axis stopper was removed. Didnt need it before but after firmware, I now have this problem
mine doesnt even turn on lol
