When I go to auto home the nozzle keeps digging into the bed and I have to shut the machine off. Any suggestions
Would you happen to have the pin diagram for the Geeetech Smartto V1.0 motherboard used in the A30T?
I have a 3dtouch and bought new push pins on Amazon for the 3dtouch (according to the description) but when I mount a new replacement pin it doesn't work as supposed to. The pin retracts when it should deploy and it deploys when it should retract.
It appears as if the magnet inside the replacement pins is upsidedown?
Is there difference between models? Or are the pins I received not for a geetech 3dtouch?
Perhaps pins for Bltouch and 3dtouch are different but the seller just advertises with pins for all?
Where can I buy proper geetech replacement pins?
Z-axis end cable must be unplugged also on an A20? If so which One It Is?
2 mms is approximately the thickness of two cd's (helped me a lot)
Firmware link?
If anyone can find firmware to make this thing work properly please post a link.
This please. I have an A20T and the current firmware doesn't have the Prepare->Leveling->3DTouch menu. It doesn't have a Leveling menu at all. The extruder breakout board does have the correct plugs. I haven't been able to find firmware newer than 4 years ago.
@@Sciborg9 if you cant find your firmware, there's a good chance you have to self build one using vsc.
@christophertan-hc4td Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. I'll start reading up on how to do that. I already downloaded the latest marlin source and the compiler. I'm still reading through all the configuration settings though.
I've been "playing" with it last 2 days. I managed to set-up everything, but when printer starts, the noozle remains quite high and the filament doesn't stick to the bed, it looks like there's an additional offset. In my slicer (Cura) nothing is set. Any clue?
Time 1:58 3:58 4:26, please pay attention to these steps. th-cam.com/video/4-Zofqk4Mvc/w-d-xo.html here is another video about 3D touch installation,Please try to set the Z Offset smaller on the display
Where could we find this test print GCode at the end?
do you mean the model at 6:40? www.thingiverse.com/thing:4619541/files download here
What if I don't have prepare/leveling on my Geeetech A20M?
flash new software
Time 2:07 you unplug the z-axis end stop cable. When is it supposed to be re-plugged?
IMO it shouldn't be replugged. Min height will be defined by 3dTouch rather than end stop
It must be unplugged also in an A20 printer? Which One It Is?
I don't get the leveling option on my menu on my A20, do I need to do something else please?
theres firmware thatll have the bltouch in it.. you have to look for it.. or get the default firmware and edit it yourself and look for bltouch definitions in it. There probably commented out so you just have to uncomment them. Compile the firmware with Arduino IDE or VScode. Get the PlatformIO plugin from VScode's marketplace and then click it. Look for your boards processor listed in the projects section and then when you click it itll show "build" and some other options.. click build and thatll compile your firmware into a .bin file. Copy the .bin file to your SD card with nothing else on the card, has to be empty.. power off your printer.. insert card.. power on.. and itll update your firmware.
Hi Guys may be you can help
Installed 3D touch, everything is well and prints are coming out perfect. But this one issue bothers me and I can not seem to solve it. After printer finished leveling with 3D touch, its is very slow to move to starting position. It finishes probing at the farthest right corner and after its done, it takes forever to move to the starting position. Bed is slow, y axis is slow. How can it be fixed? Thank you
I have the same problem. Did you fix it?
@@zdenekbullz same here
Is there anyway to install this on an ender 3 v2
yeah why not? I have it installed on my Ender 3 V1.5
@@ChristopherJones16 I know it’s been a year but could you explain how?
Non riesco a fare la procedura! Facendo auto home quando arriva in centro tavola invece di andare verso il basso con il bl touch , l'estrusore va verso l'alto! Sto impazzendo da 2 giorni
please check if the z axis endstop was pressed or not. it would be better to remove the z axis endstop when use 3d touch. it's also possible that the magnetic on 3d touch top is not enough, you can adjust the top screw clockwise
Ho lo stesso problema, sei riuscito a risolverlo? Mi sapresti dire come?
Lo fa quando è troppo alto, a stampante spenta dovete abbassare fino al piatto l'estrusore e poi riaccenderla, da li fare auto home. @fauci78
@@MarcoCaiulo avevo inserito male i connettori bianco/nero lol
@@MarcoCaiulo Ciao io ho provato a fare come dici tu ma ancora nulla, rimane sempre troppo alto, ho controllato i cavi e sono tutti collegati correttamente
1- My A20 have absolutly not the same connector, I don't know how to connect it;
2- It's impossible to "loosen" the screws, because the new BL touch is too big.
90% of this informations are out of purpose, it a shame to sell things without a proper instruction guide.
I will never buy geeetech again, too much problem like those ones.
Sorry for the inconvinience it may caused.
