Ripped a pair of pants just like that on Grand Cayman. The pockets catch on anything that sticks out ripping fabric up a line. Can't sew it since not a seam ripped, really loved those pants so many pockets for stuff.
Just heard Stan Lee passed away . Met him a couple times and am sad to hear this . RIP

I was on my honeymoon last week when I saw you and The Carpetbagger walk out of the aquarium. I freaked out for a minute. My husband asked if we should come and speak to you guys and I was too scared to. I’m such a fan of you guys!

Great video! This vlog gave me the feels! My sister who passed away last year loved penguins. Her whole cubicle at work was loaded with penguin stuff. When she was diagnosed with cancer, her boss had t-shirts & bracelets made up for her whole department saying "Team Jennifer freeze out cancer" with penguins on them. We even had a penguin put on her headstone. She was always saying that her dream was to hug a penguin. She never got the chance. Her work adopted a penguin in her name. They get updates from the biologist that is studying them in Argentina. The one they adopted is a little female that they named Jennifer after my sister. She is currently sitting on 2 eggs at her nesting location. I plan on one day doing the penguin encounter at the Detroit Zoo for her. 🐧❤

Aquariums are so fascinating... When I worked for Disney, I used to go over to The Living Seas and just sit at the big window for hours. The penguin is beautiful! I think he liked Michael! Seeing those people walking in the tube from the glass bottom boat reminds me of Jaws 3. Still waiting for those underwater cities of the future! Nice job as always Adam, will have to check this place out next time I'm in GB.
I always think of jaws 3 when I go theu the tubes. Especially at sea world Orlando , for obvious reasons
@@TheDailyWoo - Yep! I always wondered if the tubes from the movie were from Shark Encounter. At this point I've pretty much decided those scenes were all in a Hollywood set. (The tubes don't match up at all.) The Sea World scenes would have been the lagoon, the skiing, maybe the beach (where our beloved Lea got attacked), and the behind the scenes at the park stuff.
Saturday (Nov.10) was the 43rd anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. That song is so haunting. Thanks Adam!!!

Last time I was there, I saw a sting ray without a tail. I felt bad for it but I was happy they were caring for him
Sting rays actually lose their tails all the time in the wild. They grow back, kind of like lizard tails.
I've actually been here, it was pretty fun! Poor penguin though...

One day I'll ride the Glass Bottom Boat hopefully. It seems cool. In my Ripleys video with NTL I said it reminded me of the Willy Wonka boat scene for some reason lol. That is awesome y all got to be up and personal with Joe the penguin. The penguin are definitely one of my favorite spots in the aquarium. Amazing video!!! Plus the ending was hilarious!!!
Huh. I hadn't thought about this for 40 some years, but when were young, my big brother and I were kinda body surfing- I never learned to swim. Anyways, we saw those rays but didn't know what they were at all! I kept saying "look @ all the happy faces!"
Then he got stung! Of course I didn't know that at the time. He just got all hard armed and I wasn't safe anymore. I panicked screaming and swallowed alot of water, which I threw up almost immediately. We had to be rescued, by oceanside ca lifeguards, ect, like I said, I was very young! Thanx again to u Guys! We spent that night in hospital, and the rest of the summer on restriction & double chores! My parents were pissed! Lol! Memories...
I was there 4 years ago, but didn't know about the glass bottom boat ride so maybe that is something new. Thx for the great vlog!

Penguins spend most of the time on the shore in the wild. They only go into the water to hunt.
actually they don't want to be in the water thats where their most dangerous predators reside, they hunt in the water and leave and stay on land for like many many hours at once. i do feel bad for the penguin under the circumstance of a loud or rough children interacting with it but the ripleys aquarium is AZA accredited so they are banned from participating in animal encounters that negatively effect the keepers or animals in any long term way

They say they are the World's Best Aquarium, but the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta blows this one away. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice aquarium. I visited there a few years back.

This is an awesome aquarium and probably has the best shark display I have ever seen. Unfortunately, when I went it was very late at night and the penguins were all asleep and no one was doing the glass bottom boat.

so refreshing ..... someplace other than Disney world, gonna have to check this place out.
Come to Lithuania, there is an VERY LARGE dolphinarium with amazing show, and the biggest in Baltic States Sea Museum. There are sea lions, and massive aquariums with penguins and other sort of sea creatures. And in our supermarket ''Mega'' there are the largest aquarium in Baltic states. YES ITS AMAZING, COME TO LITHUANIA!
