Adam I very much enjoy watching your vlog. It reminds me to get out and experience new things. It's very easy to get so caught up in the fast paced way life runs now and stuck in a routine. Thank You Woo!
Boudleaux and Felice wrote SO many great songs, particularly for the Everly Brothers: "Bye Bye, Love", "Wake Up, Little Susie", "All I Have to Do Is Dream" "Devoted To You" and "Bird Dog". They wrote hits for others, too: "Love Hurts" (Roy Orbison), "Raining In My Heart" (Buddy Holly), and the list goes on and on.
Adam you are the host with the most fun adventures! I love the goats. We had a pet goat when I was a kid! Between him and our pet horse grazing in the front yard we had the greenest grass and never a need for regular mowing, at least most of the time! Please take care in this wild spring weather!
I've seen rain or storms every time I've been to Gatlinburg. But I've never seen it so quiet as that and the power out as well. Little strange and that was some intense wind too!
Adam, don't forget to tell us that thing that you wanted us to remind you to tell us in case you forgot to tell us the thing that we were supposed to remind you.
I would say that was more tornadic, than hurricane.... that front was wicked and dropped tornadoes in different places. As a storm chaser of old, even though I am in Germany, I still follow severe weather back home. You stay safe, Adam! We don't ever want to Woose you!
Ive spent quite a few times in the good ol Gatlinburg Inn back when Mrs. Maples, the owner was still alive. Her husband built that place originally way back when Gatlinburg was still developing. Amazing place, glad to see it still looks as pristine as always even after shes long since gone.
My favorite town outside of my home of New Orleans. I used to go twice a year, one for business The Great Smoky Mountain Gift Expo. And the wife and I came over Easter.
This brings me back to my childhood. Seems like we went to Gatlinburg a few times a year. And it appears as nothing has changed. The farret toy has been in that window on display for 20+ years.
my favorite thing to do was go to Fanny Farkles for a giant corn dog. Also when I was 4 I licked the candy cane pole outside of a candy store because I thought it was real. I saw Willy Wonka.
corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top Dirt's too rocky by far That's why all the folks on Rocky Top get their 🌽 from a jar... that was my favorite part of the song when I was a kid.
I was at Universal Studios Hollywood during a BIG wind and rain storm and the power went out, just like it did here. You are right Adam, these types of places have a totally different kind of vibe during these events
"Rocky Top."....You don't know how many times I've heard that. The University of Tennessee uses Rocky Top as their fight song every time the Vols score a touchdown in football. So, I had to hear it every time the University of Georgia played Tennessee at the Vols' stadium.
We are not getting the wind up here in Niagara but we have got 2" or rain today and another 4" before tomorrow night. Lake Ontario is 2 feet over where it normally is and flooded out Toronto Island
Wow, I wanna go to the Mountain Mall! Haven't been there since the early 80s, It's already kinda magical as far as malls go and now there's a tunnel through an aquarium and I got all excited like a little kid. but I'm in Cali, dangit.
Epic vlog Adam!!!!!! I've always love that song, Rocky Top Tennessee!!!!! I hope you know how much your subscribers appreciate what you do!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!
OH NO! Stay safe, Adam! Loved yesterday's vlog! I love parrots! Tried going to Parrot Mtn. last year but I could barely stand up on the incline. 😕 Frank the penguin in today's vlog was awesome too. :)
When the power goes out in my stinky little town the tourists will always ask "well when is it going back on?" as if the power company alerts me about their schedule. :)
If you come to Cleveland, TN we have... nothing. We have nothing lol. But maybe you could go rafting on the Ocoee and check out the Olympic park there. It's nice in the summer. And Chilhowee is a cool camping spot though I'm not sure they've got hookups yet. Still pretty primitive lol.
Good Friday morning Adam. The weather here in Tennessee hasn't felt much like spring these last few days, looking forward to the sun to come back out and be nice again. : )
It has been like that here in the southern area of WV. We might be lucky if we make it to 50 tomorrow. Last weekend it was near 90 and now it's only in the 50's.
hi Adam it is raining hear in Chatt tn. too but you guys try and have some fun the Weekend there will be booming be safe and love the video like all ways. good to have you back in tn.
It's not Adam's job to avoid subjects that offend you, like "biblical mythology". Offense is your decision. Adam's vlog's are buffets. If he says something you don't agree with, you have two choices, ignore it or quit watching. It's up to you.
Hey Sora, don't worry my tits are calm, I'm just wondering why you seem so interested in Adams sexual preference.I believe I have seen similar comments from you before.Who cares. Does it really matter? If it bothers you that much, just don't watch.Simple. Have a great day.
Do you find it strange that in every city there is the same restaurants/shops all over. I've noticed in your videos as you travel around you tend to see the same multinational chains. Even in Japan we have some of the same stores.
Yukendoit I heard in college that it's due (in part) to that many Americans move around so much that we psychologically gravitate to this homogeneous look in order to feel a sense of home. I don't know...😊
So thanks Adam. I was at Target last night and saw a great deal. So now I own a copy of "The Birds". Thank you for making me a where of aerial winged creatures.
Is Marietta's Big Chicken roadside attraction on your itinerary? It is being completely rebuilt at the moment. Still worth a vlog with the Southern Museum of Kennesaw nearby.
Greg Hey, back in the day did you participate in the voting on whether or not to keep it a rooster or to put eyelashes on it? I did - voted to keep him a he! 😆
I have only been around here about a decade so I did not know that was a thing - sounds interesting!. I am hoping the renovations actually have people going INSIDE instead of just looking from the outside and make it a healthier business. The new Cookout should help that as well. But Coke over Pepsi any day - or I guess Cheerwine over Pepsi with the new Cookout.
Yeah, it caused a small ferver back then. The Big Chicken required extensive reno to once again make its static eyes roll around and it's beak to open and close. It was going to be expensive to fix it so I think I remember that the idea to take down have even been floated! Perish the thought! Love that landmark.
Well it was in a shabby state of disrepair until Cookout rolled in and now we get a shiny new Big Chicken. Have you seen the Colonel graphic they did on it's back?
No, I haven't. We moved from Marietta about 20 years ago to Gilmer County. However, we saw it from I-75 just yesterday and remarked that it looked like he's been updated. Next time I'm in the area I'm gonna take a look at that mural and buy me something good to eat afterwards. Thanks for the head's up!
Wow! I couldn't begin to count the times I've played Rocky Top, both on the guitar and the banjo. It was a bit humbling to look into the room where it was written.
Fore some reason watching the part where you are in Ripleys with the power out made me really wanna watch the 80s classic Waxwork outside on the side of the house with my projector :)
The Woo Goodness Tour continues. I heard about the hurricane force winds and a forest fire and worried it was going to be another disaster. I've always wanted to see the goats on the roof! Cant wait to go! :)
Here's a fun fact! I know your uncle! We know each other through worship! We are also Facebook friends and yesterday he posted a picture and to my surprise there you were. I asked him if he knew who you were and he told me "he's my nephew!" I am now closer in degrees to Adam the Woo than Kevin Bacon! Naturally, I was excited to see him in your video today!
Morning! Adam, I am glad you didn't get stuck in that observatory hole at the aquarium. It would have been embarrassing if the fire department had to come! You are one tall dude! I'm glad the power outage didn't ruin your day. You still had fun and passed it on to your viewers. You are the best! Be careful of the hurricane winds! BTW. Did you pick up that trash in that hotel room floor? I noticed it when you went in, but it was gone when you came out. If you did...you did your duty. Now you can go home, and schleep well.
When ya get done over there i was just going to let ya know about cumberland gap national park its a interesting place middlesboro ky is the birthplace of lee majors if ya decide to check it out when ya leave there hit i81 north to us25e north your about 90 miles from there or less, have fun love your channel .
I live north or there about 60 miles. I lost a tree front yard ..hit the corner of my house and busted my front deck. Could of been worse but those winds the other day were horrendous .
I also was wondering if you've ever been to the New England area? Or plan to visit? I actually live 10 miles from the Parrish Shoe Factory from Jumanji, which is located in North Berwick Maine, I live just over the border in New Hampshire.
Love the aquarium...amazing. Watch that weather back there, having a lot of that spring tornado stuff!!! The goats..love!! Thanks Adam, got my WOO FIX fir the day WHOOP!!! Stay safe.😀😀

There's probably nothing like Riding the storm out in a Ripley's museum! Happy Friday Adam the Woo! ..and everyone too!
Rocky Top... Will always beeee.... Home sweet home to meeee.....
Adam you are the host with the most fun adventures! I love the goats. We had a pet goat when I was a kid! Between him and our pet horse grazing in the front yard we had the greenest grass and never a need for regular mowing, at least most of the time! Please take care in this wild spring weather!
Glad that you are ok. That storm was Crazy going out through tennessee. I'm also glad that the wild fire got contained

I've seen rain or storms every time I've been to Gatlinburg. But I've never seen it so quiet as that and the power out as well. Little strange and that was some intense wind too!
so cool of you to check that out. I'm VERY familiar with Rocky Top!
Adam, don't forget to tell us that thing that you wanted us to remind you to tell us in case you forgot to tell us the thing that we were supposed to remind you.
Yes, we all want to know about the thing.
Good Morning from the UK Adam :-)
I would say that was more tornadic, than hurricane.... that front was wicked and dropped tornadoes in different places. As a storm chaser of old, even though I am in Germany, I still follow severe weather back home. You stay safe, Adam! We don't ever want to Woose you!
Love the song "Rocky Too!" So awesome you were able to tour that room!!
Ive spent quite a few times in the good ol Gatlinburg Inn back when Mrs. Maples, the owner was still alive. Her husband built that place originally way back when Gatlinburg was still developing. Amazing place, glad to see it still looks as pristine as always even after shes long since gone.

Adam, you often go above and beyond for your videos.Great locations and excellent narration.
This brings me back to my childhood. Seems like we went to Gatlinburg a few times a year. And it appears as nothing has changed. The farret toy has been in that window on display for 20+ years.

at the end when hes getting his camera down u can see someone standing behind him and i dont think its the carpetbagger ....who is that?
his uncle. the man in the dark shirt and white hair.
Yukendoit I hate that about America, everywhere looks the same, we call it homogenization, like processed cheese "food" product.
Yukendoit I heard in college that it's due (in part) to that many Americans move around so much that we psychologically gravitate to this homogeneous look in order to feel a sense of home. I don't know...😊
Southern swag No! I love a lot about America, just not that.

"It's safer indoors". *Looks at scary statue behind him*, "Well maybe it's safer here?" LMAO!!! I swear I love you Adam!!!!

A lot of folks say "Rocky Top " was overplayed, but when we play bluegrass, it always gets requested, and we play it!
