I like the way you tell us where these places are so we too can experience them for ourselves. Shots of place signs and any warnings etc, as well as a shot of a map, is extremely helpful in this regard and is so often absent from most travel blogs where, instead of shots of the passing scenery and follow-on drone shots such as you provide, only personal mug shots while driving seem to be all the boring rage.
    Love your work--and well done.

Re the Lake and the freshy, I still aint getting in there with a Croc! I will swim with Sharks and Jelly fish no probs and any else in the Ocean, ok a Meg might scare me but hey wont even know it 😂 if that happens, but I aint getting in the water with no Croc friendly freshy or not!
I don't trust snakes and def not Crocs, plus people wearing them are suspect too🤣
us hardcore blokes wear flip flops or Maori Moccasins (probably not PC, buy oh well, its nadda)
But the Lake did look amazing as was camp,
ps I see ya camp chair not a im, 😉😛
I mention as I took ages to find a good one and I love it its the hard arm model so adjustable and great quality!!!
That one you rocking never buy them again myself, nothing but disappointed with OT stuff, jme though.
Cheers, keep up the fantastic journey, hope ya keeping a journal of ya Hilux Kms and servicing Id love ya do do another break down give us an update on how many Ks ya have clocked, servicing etc, what ya done, I am a**l about that stuff on my LC so it interests me even if I have done it 1 BILLION times and watched tubers do it 1 MILLION times, haha sure Im not alone.

The second looked like corn but couldn’t tell what the first one was. By the way, I thought you were talking about No-see-ums, but that looked more like a yellow fly that we have here in North Florida. Hate those little boogers! Until the next vid, stay safe! 🌞🐊

This area has changed so much since I was last there many many years ago. In fact, it was so long ago, that Port Douglas only had the one restaurant at the end of the jetty. I definitely need to do a trip up there soon.
I know the Kuranda rail goes past Barron and Stoney Creek falls as I did go on the train but I suspect we had a picnic lunch somewhere along Stoney Creek. I definitely will come back to revisit these places.
