I will always love Bionicle and to see so many people give love and life to a bunch of old little robot dudes to. I find it funny that from 2001-2010 Bionicle and Halo where apart of my life and both started and ended the same years. As much as I miss Bionicle I glade for what I got, I wouldn't want Bionicle to go through hell again but worse and that's okay because Bionicle was my childhood as much as many other people's. I'm happy to share these fun silly little guys as time moves along.
This is sobering to read for me. Bionicle and Halo really did end in 2010... But that was when I got into the franchise... I experienced it in a backwards manner, Halo Reach was my first, next was 3, after that CE, then ODST, then CE:A, and then 4. I didn't play 2 until MCC. I didn't realize at the time that it was the end of an era for Halo. Bionicle was over, so I was eager to move on to something I thought was new. Perhaps too eager. I believed that Halo was over when Infinite came out, many would say it was Halo 5 that killed the franchise. others would say 4. I liked H5, it's where I made most of my friends and playing with Clans in forge and customs was a blast. But maybe it ended at the same time as something else that I held close to me, and was influential on my formative years. Maybe I should finally move on.
Mata Nui didn't truly die because fans forgot about Bionicle... he truly died long ago, because he forgot about himself, and us. Doesn't he... don't they still remember us?
