Your castle videos and sightseeing videos are great on this clip--always great to have a passport and see how other people live across the water-----looks like you've got the hang of the British stock car--good luck tomorrow.
@davetrcracing so true! He seems to have taken to it like a duck to water, and the cars look flipping amazing as you say. Towards the end, I was expecting him to go in for a tap on Tom's bumper, but I forgot he is a novice! 😂
@@captainnutnut6077 was a solid effort, he jumped the inner curb for it, if the other car wasnt there neither of them would have been giing still i recon. fkn sick race non-the less tho
That's the idea! Well, kind of. It's full contact, so if a driver is in the way, you give him a tap on the rear bumper and get him out of your way! 😂 As I watched TMez following Tom towards the end, I was waiting for him to brake late and give Tom a whack! He seemed to take to it like a duck to water, but the contact element may surprise him. Either way, I'm super stoked to see this legend take part in our wonderful sport for the first time.
Like Martinsville. Diamond the corner a little, once it sets, like an egg under the throttle. Those big bars in front and back, nascar had big pieces of wood upfront to protect the radiator from problems. San Jose Nick Rescino , Pombo, Keading. That was like the Wild West in the 70’s watching them bump n run. Have fun
When I first saw how early you were lifting and how late on the throttle I thought wow the car is off a bit. Then I think I heard you say 4000 lbs. that explains it. I ran 2500 lb modifieds.
They race them in the Netherlands. Near the Belgium and German border we have few tracks. They run on shale and tarmac. Even a few grass tracks sometimes. If you want more info let me know!
My guess would be that Rob Speak (the promoter/owner of Skeggy, the bald dude who talked to him towards the end) is planning on doing some kind of demo run or race at some point during the weekend.
Hoosier used to be a tyre supplier for the sport many years ago, but we now use American Racer. But, to answer your question, they don't use slicks as they race on dirt as well as asphalt, so they need the grip. At least, that is my best (educated) guess.
@kendaumen862 me too! I'm a new fan, having been introduced to him because of his entry into this event. He seems to have taken to the car like a duck to water, but it will be fascinating to see what he makes of the contact aspect!
I watched them race in Australia on you tube, I was told if you finish 1st and your teammate finishes in the top 5 you win the race, is it the same in the UK, and are there other combination to win? I'm from Milwaukee,Wisconsin, was involved in Modifieds, Sprints, midgets from 1974 to 1992
Huh! Going asphalt racing after dirt is definitely a change of pace. In general, dirt wingless racing you can make 6 mistakes per lap and not get passed. Usually, in asphalt wingless, one mistake and someone is passing.
That, my friend, is a BriSCA Formula One Stock Car. Imagine a sprint car with bumpers that allows full contact and races on (roughly) 1/4 mile dirt and asphalt ovals. If you search YT for Brisca F1, you'll find dozens of videos. I'm so stoked to be able to meet him on Saturday! 😃
Yes she dose, a star war look, you should get her the episodes of them, that’s right , your woman is hot, beautiful and living your best life with you, thanks BigAl California
What a shitfight,, an obese car with a decent engine running on bitumen with dirt tyres!! What could go wrong. Running a wingless Sprintcar to those would be about the same as driving the grader to racecar
Just wait until you see 30+ of those bad boys on the track at full tilt with the bumpers flying in! The World Final itself is going to be *bedlam*! Just wait and see what his videos after the weekend are like! 🤪
I think you are not realising what those heavy front and rear bumpers are for. This is full contact racing... Someone is in your way?? Knock them out of it.

I'm an American who watches British stock car racing whenever I can. This is really cool to see!!
And brutal! (I learned that the hard way 😭)
Awesome that you are showcasing Brisca F1 to a US audience, hope you enjoy the experience, I will be there for the World Final tomorrow night.
A whole bunch of those tanks on a bullring - I can only imagine the mayhem! Kudos for trying something out of your comfort zone. 🤘

“looked” he got followed in last corner 😂 (still won wheelspinning into the line with his steering column broke tho lol)
@loonytoon4921 Unfortunately, it didn't work! As a die hard Wainman fan, I was bloody gutted, but what a race!

Well, I've never seen these things race before either . So I will definitely be watching. Have fun .

Good luck Tmez!!!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Dam @tmezTv if you come back down to NZ you should arrange a ride in a Superstock.. I think you would love it
Uhh… I think that’s a bit too brutal for a sprint car driver haha
First of all welcome hope you’ve enjoyed your stay and for your first time in this sort of race u did amazing
Welcome to Lincolnshire! Good to see you getting the support from Rob and the Harris team. Looks like you're adapting to the car well. Good luck!
This is awesome guys love watching this test day with cathrine on track too brilliant, good luck Tmez 👍
Nice video, cool shots of the castle! Best of luck racing!!
Genuinely excited to see how you get on. A top 12 finish in the WF would be a great achievement.
I see the Star Wars connection. TMez is a traveling man. Have fun!
Excited to see more.
Would love to see you have a go on the dirt at such as bradford..think you would be on the money with that
Awesome great to see you over here this my 1st watch on your channel so all weekend will be on it 👍
You definitely need to come back to NZ and get in a superstock on the dirt!!!
Pulling the tearoff in the car had me 🤣🤣
Sounds like a beast, looks like if you would flip that, it would be a lot of hard hits with all those heavy bumbers and nerfs

Good to see the Dub’0 car there to show off to the locals too. Good Luck Tmez!

What is that scraping sound when you hit the corner? ❤

I’m just wondering how did tmez get his sprint car there
When's the last time you ran asphalt? Have fun Thomas enjoy the change of view and another day at the office

curious...what with the tred and not slicks like hoosiers?
