Tim Engler is probably the most knowledgeable man I have ever meet. He treats everyone the same. We spend a day on the dyno and he explains everything in ways that really make ot simple to understand.
Great video with Tim and the history of Engler Machine and Tool. Tim is definitely one of those in the industry that you want on your side. Wish the industry could do more to honor these men and women who have dedicated their lives for all in the sport. 👍👍
This was so interesting. So grateful that you can show us the behind the scenes of racing. I am in my glory. I always had a interest in how stuff is built and operate 👍
Thanks T-Mez. Tim is the Smoky Yunick of Tractor pulling and Injection. What a story a company not making him parts because he was a competing with one of said company's customers.
I was at Tommy Reitz shop years ago, and he had one of the first 3" Englers to be used on a 360. At the time, I had a 3" Crower on my 480 big block and everyone thought it was huge. Tim is a true innovator. Great to see an inside look at the business. The tractor stuff was amazing.
Thomas, if you get the chance, ask Tim to tell you about qualifying. At Eldora at least if I'm remembering correctly, I believe that was where it was at and his trick, he used to qualify faster to get a better time. Or at least it's the story I heard back here in Minnesota i was always curious if it was true or not. And if he did actually do it, I was curious if it helped and and if he did it, but he doesn't want to people know you could just put down, yes, it worked or something like that.
Englers the man and so humble and nice as can be

This unassuming humble man is a rock star. Great show.
This is a great video. One of the best you have done. Thanks Thomas.

Thanks TMez! Awesome episode!
Tim is an absolute genius. I think I ran 3 of his injections over my racing days. Fantastic video as well my guy TMEZ.
Great shop tour and interview with Tim , thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas .
Tim told
Me personally the same story about Jones producing enough power with the SCAT Mtr. Jones was very reluctant letting Tim do what he did !!

Thanks for sharing. Living the best life possible. Awesome place.
32,600 dyno pulls in 2 1/2 years... Mind. Fucking. Blown. 🤯
This was a great video, Tmez. Hopefully you can do more like this within the industry.
Thats one of the coolest drops to date! Love the engine tech chassis stuff.
Wow, definitely one of your Best!
Excellent. Thanks

This is a great video. Very appreciate of it.
Cool stuff
Love it.
I run EFI right now but if i was to change to mechanical injection what are the pros and cons?
I’m actually curious why is it called a ford motor if he builds every other part of it?
He is using the FR9 ford cylinder head which is the head use on a nascar cup motor.
