This is great! Thankyou for coming over. I hope you enjoyed it in the UK and enjoyed the racing! It would be great to see you again at next years world final.
Brilliant to have you over for our world final. You looked more and more confident as the world final race went on. Amazing for Tom Harris to give so much of his time to get you comfortable and help with your set up in his big meeting. And even better that he won his 5th world title, and boy was he fast in the sprint car 👌
Hey Tmez thanks for posting your impression of the UK Stock Car. I live in the UK, but work in 🇺🇸. Love to watch all the different formulas of Sprint Cars in the US and Stock Cars in the UK. You have now experienced UK Stock Car racing and I’m sure you will agree that it is awesome. We need more guys like you here in the UK. The social media side of things here in the UK is severely lacking. Good luck with all your future ventures. “These guys drive the wrong way” You Americans…😅😅😅
Well, as an Australian Sprintcar Fan, and a big fan of Tmez, from the outside looking in, these cars and this kind of racing would be a little familiar to him, as it looks almost exactly the same as the Stock Car racing in New Zealand, only, they do it PROPERLY by which I mean they do it on the dirt and they go "the right way" around the track!!
UK stock cars do it on dirt too and go the same way as NZ superstox, a uk driver has even won the world 240 champs in NZ 3 times! that’s how good these drivers are.
Been a pleasure to watch you race our form of racing, you have done yourself proud Thomas, to finish the World final is no mean feat, amazing... same again next year, be easier next year, the World Final is on dirt 😊 or shale as we call it... safe trip home fella 👍
Funny you say that our top drivers that as we say bury eachother shake hands and laugh in the pits swings and round abouts of the sport just check your mirrors next week when there behind it’s why so many fans turn out for it for us uk folk it’s why we say Stock car racing is magic!
@@travelling_stephen I lived in North Carolina for almost 20 years and had the chance to go to BGS several times. If you can get past the beating, banging and "circus act," then it's pretty amazing how they, especially the modifieds, get around that small flat track. There's some awesome racing there if you look for it.
You channel popped at the start of your visit ,have loved your coverage ,short track racing is so underrated over here except by the fans that attend. The incar cameras are excellent. And racing with out a neck brace is hard core brother. Am definitely subscribing to your channel.
Taxi cabs is a great descriptor for how these cars appear, and ya, those contacts look brutal! Thanks for sharing your best life and giving your fellow Americans a glimpse into racing in the UK.
Thanks for coming over, glad you enjoyed yourself and had a run in F2 as well shame you didn't get a Go in the loon's. Hopefully we'll see you back in the future.😊
So good to meet you t-mez! I was certainly cheering you on you done the US proud with how you drove and got the UK behind you too something you don’t see often! Be epic to see you next year on the dirt man be in your own world out there, maybe show Tom how it’s done!
What a great video and glad you enjoyed it look forward to your next video and will definitely keep track of you racing and hope you get over here again next season
I like how your totally outside of your comfort zone but also embracing it. Contact racing is a different beast for sure, the cars in New Zealand are another step contact wise to the UK, far more rigid. After you have been doing it for a while you hardly feel the pushes out of the way and you know when you do feel it, it was indeed pretty big.
Thank you for the excellent content and the entertainment you provided on your trip over in the UK. Would be great to see you come over again next year for the F1 World Championships at Kings Lynn on the dirt. All the very best for your racing Tmez.
loved your vids was great getting a outsiders view tbh i think you adapted to both cars well but i cud see you winning races in the f2 ,, please come back
we run all these classes in aussie but we run the traditional direction other than sidecar bikes the run in clockwise and on dirt of course. love the channel. keep driving. Eric Bain
These cars go against every instinct you have a sprint car guy. You got close to hitting the 12 car and you can almost read you thoughts of touch him but don't hit him. Cool experience for sure. Keep grinding and living the best life!!
In Germany, racing there, we bolted 1×6s to the doors, outside instead of metal "nerf" bars. Rubbing is racing, and the bump and run were standard. You look like you have adapted. Good luck.
You should check out banger racing as well tmez we go the same way as the saloons but with a stripped out road car with a cage, door plate and other safety equipment. It's similar to your demolition derby cars except no amouring and its oval racing but full contact so you could literally hit a opponent flat out and wreck their car. If you would like to check it out I'd recommend Short Oval Racing UK on TH-cam they also recorded this Brisca F1 World Final. Or my on-board footage. We loved having you here mate😁🏁
hardest hitters in the game are over in nz not the UK haha, hardest hitters would be jayden ward, harley robb, kaelin mooney, jack miers, peter rees, the levien boys etc.
A lot different than the Australian stocks where they stop and wait and crash you with teammates, here it looks like straight up racing, but you can bump a slower car to move them for positions. Great racing, fantastic crowds.
Can i humbly suggest try clocking your hands more to the right on asphalt, that way your closer to 3 and 9 in the turns and not so twisted to left. It worked for me. just a suggestion.
Glad you enjoyed your 1st taste of racing in the uk. Just imagine them cars on shale with full contact and then having another thing that could hurt you is the fence itself not like this at Skegness but Sheffield which is post and rope (steel I beam 5 steel ropes) you don’t bounce off it tends to pull you in and stop you dead th-cam.com/video/oVBsCexW8hw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZJ2uVoZyJUYbCTcO

Full contact my ass, next time you down in nz come have a skid in a superstock and experience REAL STOCKCAR racing with TRUE full contact, those british guys cant handle proper contact.
Hmm how many times has the world 240 championship come back to the UK 3? I believe we hit as hard as any at your team championships and nearly won it one year!
@@hwsascha agreed , however Wainmann took the NZ world back to the UK on 3 occasions and the lions 3 times finalist and 1 3rd place with one of the highest % of wins of all teams so not bad considering they can only race once a year. Just shows how good they are as the return is never as successful.
where are you from? to say its lame can only be from someone who never has seen that in person. Hope you are from US. If talking about lame.. go watch your Demo Derbys.. nothing more lame than that against UK Banger racing. Maybe it looks lame cause the tracks are way smaller than the US ones so the speed seems slow but let me tell you.. for that little tracks they are pretty fast
