Created with Figmin XR using the new Meta Quest 3 Virtual Reality headset. Music by Google's AI... Though I usually post AI stuff here, I am shifting creative outlets and exploring new ways of creating (well, returning to old ways, since I used to do a lot of painting and sculpting in VR years ago).
Can you make more videos like this? Showing off capabilities and exploring creative ideas? Super cool to see I don’t know why no one else is making content on this. Thanks!
Hey, thanks, man. I think my issue is that I am all over the place lately. Working with AI imagery, virtual reality, and photography. I need to either pick something and dive in deep or just make more! - Thanks for the motivation.
GREAT vid! Thanks.
this is amazing, just got a quest 3 and i have to try this asap
So much fun stuff out there. Hope you are enjoying the Q3 so far!
very cool
Cool stuff, thanks for the overview!
I'm gona get it this fridayy
It's worth it. I need to dive back in. Been a while - but it is really fun.
Your room tells me you've been to meet the mushroom gods,😂😂
Nice video man, been considering buying figmin and this was really informative 👍 thanks for sharing.
Lol, I like to think I graduated from the school of McKenna. ;-) Glad you liked it!
does anyone know if theres a similar app thats free?
How do i make my room colorful in the game mine is just black and white
Ah, you must have the Quest 2, right? Unfortunately the Q2 cameras are only black and white. They were never really meant for AR capabilities, but it got added after release. The Q3 has color sensors for passthrough. It's awesome, but not mind blowing quite yet. That said, I had the Q2 for years and loved it. It's a great headset, and at least even in black and white you can grab a beer or whatever, lol.
You have the meta quest two?
from where is that scan of your room, is from quest passthorug mapping or how is that?
Yea! The Quest 3 has a depth sensor, so it maps out the room then Figmin XR uses that data. What a time to be alive!
How did you just scale R2D2 right after importing it? I can't do that.
You can grab objects with both controllers then pull in or out to scale them - or you can click the (man, I forget now that I'm not in VR) right thumbstick and there is a scale option!
@@prompterguide3648 I'm not able to grab with both. It just switches to the side that was clicked last.
Can you add your own 3d models ?
Does it have interactive music M
Mmm now that would be interesting. I know you can import TH-cam videos to "hide" as soundtracks to an experience, or sound effects too - but more interactive sound and stuff would be awesome.
iam not sure if the carpet on your wall is real or just in XR.
New sub
A question; do I have to enter the App every time I want to see my room with all those animations? Or is it not necessary to enter the app?
Yes, you'll need to be in Figmin to see any of the 3D objects or paintings.
You listen to Tool?
Good catch, but not really. You know, I have been trying and trying to love Tool. I'm a big Shpongle fan and such. I love some Tool tracks, but a lot of it is really... Idk... too AHHH for my vibe - but I keep trying by listening to their albums over and over.
Far too complicated
It's not that complex, really. Spend a half hour in there and you'll learn so much. I just poke around until I learn how everything works.
