i can answer these. i have had my oculus since release and have been using this app for about a month now. If you want to paint a scene(i am imagining a diorama like thing) at a real life size, then obviously your going to have 2 options, make a smaller scaled down version of you scene maybe 3x3ft or make one the size of your room, although you could paint bigger than your room and use the fly tool to fly around your scene and add objects and etc. Also logically i would imagine this could be ram intensive but it might be less so while plugged into your computer. 2. Yes of course you can paint the sky, you can fly through your painting as though you were there so you have, again, 2 options, fly into the sky and paint it from there, or paint the sky at a smaller scale and enlarge it, which is much easier. 3. Again you have 3 ways of moving. Teleport. similar to vr chat and most other vr games, then you have flight which is a handy tool and is 100% my most used tool when i am on my ass and dont want to crawl to draw smth. You are like a god making your own world. Edit: walking is the third form of moving but like irl walking. I know for sure you can save your art in the app, for sharing art you could just share it to insta directly from your headset as a screenshot. Or screenshot it then send it to your pc and upload from there. Or use pcvr and obs to record and upload. Also just so you know i wouldn't recommend something like redecorating your room because when making stuff you have to regularly change the size of your art, which would also change the rotation and can be quite difficult to adjust once messed up, and when you load your art in after saving it, it will not always be facing the same direction anyway and also for you to see the new room you would have to wear your headset and that alone can be frustrating. Yes, you'll need to be in Figmin to see any of the 3D objects or paintings.

This is called Open Brush (formerly Google Tilt Brush, which became open source so these guys released a free version with some added features!)

Ah, you must have the Quest 2, right? Unfortunately the Q2 cameras are only black and white. They were never really meant for AR capabilities, but it got added after release. The Q3 has color sensors for passthrough. It's awesome, but not mind blowing quite yet. That said, I had the Q2 for years and loved it. It's a great headset, and at least even in black and white you can grab a beer or whatever, lol.

You have the meta quest two?

Yea! The Quest 3 has a depth sensor, so it maps out the room then Figmin XR uses that data. What a time to be alive!

Good catch, but not really. You know, I have been trying and trying to love Tool. I'm a big Shpongle fan and such. I love some Tool tracks, but a lot of it is really... Idk... too AHHH for my vibe - but I keep trying by listening to their albums over and over.

It's worth it. I need to dive back in. Been a while - but it is really fun.

Mmm now that would be interesting. I know you can import TH-cam videos to "hide" as soundtracks to an experience, or sound effects too - but more interactive sound and stuff would be awesome.

@@IndiaM128 I might request one myself but it would also need support from the apps probably. I'm not particularly good at drawing but this app is a game changer for my designing. If I'd known about this even a year ago this would have literally changed my life but at least I know now and I can work on my build projects. I'm not really artistically inclined because I can't seem to put my 3D thoughts onto a 2D canvas lol

Interesting idea. I never thought of this before! You can import images, so in theory you could make a sketch or some JPG file on your computer, load that onto the Quest, load it into your environment, THEN make it big and trace it - then remove the image file.

You can grab objects with both controllers then pull in or out to scale them - or you can click the (man, I forget now that I'm not in VR) right thumbstick and there is a scale option!

@@prompterguide3648 I'm not able to grab with both. It just switches to the side that was clicked last.

It's not that complex, really. Spend a half hour in there and you'll learn so much. I just poke around until I learn how everything works.

It's pretty astonishing, but we still have a long way to go. Many times you get weird artifacts or unnatural movement, and have to pay for the results anyway, so it can become costly if you have a specific idea in mind... but someday, and soon, it'll really get crazy good!

Good question here. I actually don't know and I'd have to look. I know back in the day I would always use PCVR instead of the Quest for TiltBrush because this only worked on the PC. I'd think it's the same bc (weirdly) there isn't a music player/spotify on the Quest headsets.

@@prompterguide3648 I checked it out. Unfortunately it doesn't have the music reactive brushes. I miss those!

We just added support back in - currently you have to add a video with audio to your sketch, but we'll be adding support for "audio only" formats soon.
