My mother has that same hutch since about 1964! Wow, would I love to do something like that to that hutch! Everything in our house was French country and I loved it!

I'm always in awe of how nicely Jami dresses while painting. As much as I try, I'm forever getting paint on myself. My husband jokes that I should just smear some on myself in the beginning to get it over with, lol.

JJ Jacobson Well, I don’t do TH-cam videos myself, so I don’t know how all the counting goes, but I try to always “like” the videos I watch of the channels I follow. It gives a small amount somehow, at least on the algorithm. Thumbs up or down, I think gives the same benefit.

Well I love it! Only thing is please paint the top. If you have a two story house and you come down the stairs you could see the unpainted top. If you already did, and I missed it never mind...🐝
I don't think their house is 2 story.. They are keeping this piece.

This is by far my favorite piece you have ever created! (My favorite video as well.) I will watch this over and over until I can create my own version of this beauty. My challenge is to be "ok" with the look of the raw layers and work through the process until the final touches are finished. Great instructional video. I am INSPIRED!!! Love you all! :-)

When I first saw the photo for the video.. I thought it was an antique and what in the world would you be doing to it.. it looks great that perfect aged blue green finish.. then I realized.. that was what you did to it!!! Fantastic job!!! Looks like it's a couple of hundred years old!!!

Wow! I probably owned something like that, and would never have imagined it could be anything else. This is gorgeous. I visited a Habitat for Humanity Resale shop that seemed to be where all the furniture from the seventies went to die. I'm thinking it might be time to visit again--maybe I can find something to resurrect.
