This is my favorite TH-cam video I’ve ever done. I hope you like it ❤️
Very nice work you did a great job. First time touring your video
@@faebetron7614 thank you so much ❤
Amen to the coasters. Gotta respect the wood!
I’m late to the party, but WOW! She’s unrecognizable!
When I was a kid on the farm, we had to move long, heavy irrigation lines twice a day in 105+ heat every summer. The one thing I looked forward to was the scent of the beautiful pink wild roses growing along one of the fence lines, wafting in the breeze. The beautiful, subtle pink you have chosen immediately takes me back to the uncomplicated life of summers on the farm. I can almost feel the heat and the smell of those roses. Just perfection!! Bravo!
thank you so much! i really appreciate that :)
what a beautiful picture you painted with that description. i am so glad that this color resonates with you. it really is special.
You do a great job. I haven’t seen another person, on other TH-cam channels, do as thorough of a cleaning on their pieces. You got me as a subscriber now and that is the reason. That and the fact you do a lovely job of painting.😀
The gilding wax on the hardware was such a good choice! The bronze matched the softer tones of the pink so well!
Thank you!
WOW!!! What a great job, taking a piece of furniture that should have gone to the trash heap, to something very beautiful.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that ☺️
Wow...so beautiful, looks like it should be in a room for a princess...you have a great talent...thank you for showing, I really do enjoy watching your transformation of furniture...blessings
Thank you so much, Celine ❤️❤️
Wow! I just bought a french provincial dresser for my daughter and sure do wish it was you who did it! I’m amazed at your detail and craftsmanship!!
Beautiful beautiful job.
Thank you so much ❤️
_Aunt_ Chic Antique .... it has a nice ring to it. [EDIT] Nice job by the way !!!
Thank you very much 💗
Hi from Georgian Bay, Ontario Holly! I think you have been a wonderful tutor - very thorough and clear and this piece looks 500% better than before. I have a French Provincial set so I think I will follow your idea here and see how it turns out! Blessings and thanks! MQH
Absolutely beautiful job that dress over the hot mess when you started with it and it up gorgeous
Aw thank you so much.
Huge fan of pink !! Great job !
I'm a big fan of pink too--Thank you so much :)
I love this color. It's beautiful!!!!!!
Thank you so much! I love it too!
I might be a lil biased, but this is by far my favorite piece you’ve done! It’s literal perfection 😍🥰🔥
Thank you. I’m so glad you love it ❤️ One of my favorite pieces I’ve ever done.
Awesome! Will look great in the nursery.
That is my favorite pink !!!!! Love this piece!
thank you so much!
I love watching you do your magic Holly, I don't understand why people ruin pieces of furniture like this! It's very frustrating to say the least...
Thank you!
Can you elaborate? What do you mean by that?
@ChicAntiquebyHolly Holly, I was watching one of your videos thar I previously commented on. I just now, 8 months later read that you had asked me to explain my comment. What I meant was, I love what you do to furniture! And it's a shame how some people will trash them with crayons or markers, gum, cigarettes etc.!!!! I absolutely respect your art and very hard work Holly. Thank you for making this world more beautiful!
What a beautiful makeover! It’ll be stunning in a nursery. The before…YIKES! That poor dresser, at one point I think I heard it screaming for help!
Thank you! I agree!!
Yes she was definitely screaming at me to save her!
Great job as always! Almost unrecognizable…. I love it when that happens. I have so many of these French Provençal pieces waiting to be done (3 storage rooms lol)
Thank you so much!
Oh man I wish I had that problem! I love French provincials so much I need to do more 😍
Wow!
beautiful piece. your niece will enjoy it for many years.
Thank you 😊
I painted mine and am so happy with it. I used bronzer on the original hardware. I didn’t have the equipment or outdoor space to take off the stain.
I have just discovered your videos. I love that your voice is calming and that you explain each step. I haven’t painted yet but I plan to do a few pieces I have in my house to practice first. Thanks for a lovely video.
That is so sweet of you to say. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
This is beautiful! You put so much love into it and it turned out fabulous ❤️
Thank you, Amy, that means a lot 🤗❤️
Beautiful! Love the color and you did such a great job! ❤
Stunning piece ~ I can just imagine how beautiful your nieces nursery looks! ❤️
That piece turned out to be so adorable. Your niece will love it. You did a great job, congratulations.
Thank you, Janet ❤
I love the tea rose dresser you have done. Will be looking forward to your future projects
What a massive difference, its absolutely stunning now. Well done you did a brilliant job xx
Aw thank you. I really appreciate that.
You did a great job - it looks beautiful. I always use a 2 1/2” zebra brush so I’m curious about using the Annie Sloan. Your video is very well done.
Thank you so much, Helene ❤️
If you are open to trying something you I think it’s worth trying. I love it because I can paint so quickly with it. The bristles are very stiff and tightly packed so I have a lot more control with it.
Oh my goodness, this turned out so, so pretty! What a lovely memory for your niece! This is definitely my favorite piece too! And I bet she won't carve her name into it either! Love, love, love this! ♥️
Thank you so much for your kind words. 💜
What a beautiful colour and the handles suited it perfectly. Gorgeous 🥰
Thank you so much ❤️
Your transformations are magic and your explanations and guidance are very helpful. I just might try to do something like this.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad to hear that. If you do, let me know how it goes!
I said WOW.... when I saw the end result. Love the color and the hardware you chose. Well done! 🙌✨💕
That makes my day---thank you so much 🤗
Hi Holly, wow what a beautiful piece this is now. I love DB Tea Rose. I used it on a cute antique table, and it's perfect on your dresser. I love your hardware choice, it really dresses her up! What a special gift... 🌷🌷
I love Tea Rose on antiques! It works so well!
Thank you so much ❤️
Wow! Just beautiful! I used that color for my granddaughters nightstand! You did an amazing job!
P.S. Did anyone else notice the freezer door is open? Why do I see these things????
Thank you so much! I bet it turned out lovely.
Haha that’s our extra refrigerator in the garage that we don’t use so sometimes the doors fly open because it’s not plugged in.
Magnific! I love your patience. I get very anxious and cannot wait for the work to be finished. Also I have difficulty choosing the colors. Well taught. Blessings! Tks.
Aw that’s so sweet-thank you!
The more you paint, the more inspired you will feel about colors choices. Keep at it ❤️
So elegant and absolutely gorgeous - Brava!!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
Beautiful! Wish I could put it in my bedroom - LOVE the pink color!! Again, you’re so super talented!!
Thank you so much ❤️
That was a wow moment seeing the before and after. Stunning. I agree with the enjoyment of watching painting. Very relaxing like sitting on the beach watching the waves roll in. Great job. Very professionally done.

What a soft color, this would be perfect for any princess or romantic themed room. (My sister would love this for her dressing room.) Beautiful work!
PS editing on point, great music choices, and thanks for so many tips along the way 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for your kind words. They really mean a lot to me. ❤️
My kids thought I was no fun sometimes.
I did not allow stickers on furniture nor the walls. I now hear my daughter say..no stickers on the furniture!
Your piece turned out so beautiful!!!
I am going to have to get a brush like that it looks easy to work with . This turned out beautiful
Yes it’s so easy you’ll love it!

Your "before" and after" shots are incredible!! Didn't think I was going to like the color, but it is truly beautiful!
Isn’t the difference totally shocking?! It gets me every time!
@@ChicAntiquebyHolly Well you do great work and I have been thinking about paint choices for an "antique" armoire I bought. Some parts are antique, other pieces are newer. Want to make it look french country and trying to decide on colors. I will be looking at Dixie Belle stuff. Thanks for the ideas!!! I am new subscriber!!
Let me know how it goes!
Gorgeous!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful work!
Very nicley done Holly. You are a deft hand with those brushes! I think your methodical techniques are excellent and the piece is lovely - I like the centre drawer handles with the small rosettes as well! Thanks for sharing! :-)

I would love to see something done in beige chalk.❤
So Beautifully done
Thank you!
Best results are achieved by sanding and painting in one direction. And...if you don't want the shine finish rustolium makes a Matte finish which works great for a flat finish
Beautiful job. Nice mauve color.
Thank you!

I have used Annie Sloan paint for years and have never done more than clean piece throughly and then paint…only white may get bleed thru…she says to spray shellac and good to go…it works and saves time and money. Love the end results. Great skills.
Thank you, but I did not use Annie Sloan paint!
Very pretty! Well done! 🫶🏻 Loved the bloopers too! New subscriber! 🙋♀️
Oh, I meant to ask, would you be able to send me a link to the dresser knobs you purchased from Amazon, please? TIA 🫶🏻

Thank you ❤️
Hi, very nice job.
Thank you!
I love it that you don’t stand in front of your pieces ( with your hair and makeup perfect ) and talk about all the events that happened while doing your project. From your boyfriends help to how long it took to choose a paint color . You just quietly do the work . The reason we like to watch. Painting furniture ! And your voice is soothing and you don’t laugh throughout at all your own jokes . Sorry but so many of these painters are all about themselves. Thanks for that. I would like to ask why you don’t do some blending of colors and using dark waxes for depth . Also modern hardware is cool. Are you just liking to paint it one color and leave it ? Would love to see you use some of that gold gilding wax . Just some ideas for thought. Love your channel . I’ve been watching you since the very beginning! You’ve grown so much ! ✌️
Nice job
Thanks!
Gorgeous! Any tips on newbies regarding supplies etc… I’m not too thrilled with the furniture out there and want to find my own to revamp our master bedroom. Much appreciated!
Thanks! Supplies and materials are typically different for each piece. It all depends on how much damage a piece has and what material it is made of.
If you want to make it simple, I would suggest getting pieces that do not require any repairs & are solid wood.
All you will need then is a TSP cleaner or degreaser, some 220 grit sandpaper to scuff sand, tack cloth to remove sanding dust, and an all-in-one paint. Something that has primer, paint, and top coat in one. An all-in-one paint will make the process a lot easier and a lot faster. My favorite is called Silk and it's made my Dixie Belle Paint Company.
@@ChicAntiquebyHolly thank you for responding!! I’ll let you know down the line how it ur a out. still looking for pieces.
@@goldieramirez5121 happy to help! Let me know how it goes!

Beautiful work. You inspire me to try my hand at painting my bedroom. I have never done anything like this. What do I need to start? Any help will be deeply appreciated. I need to know what I have to buy and where to go to.get it.I know is a tall order. What are your recommendations. Where can I go to lean to do this, do you teach . 😊
