I love the color! It almost has a metallic hue to it. And I love the gold hardware with the deep gray color. I’ve only sprayed furniture one time (a bamboo table and chairs) but I made such a mess with the overspray. I need lessons from you! Obviously, I had the sprayer opened too wide instead of a narrower spray. Thanks for a great tutorial! 😊

I encountered the same issue with a stubborn topcoat...took ages to get it off pretty much with the same procedures/products you did. I never saw such a stubborn coating. The wood is fruitwood. not sure what the put on it that was so hard to get off. this is for my house...the hours put in to it !...likely wouldn't have made any profit selling it.

It's a beautiful dresser that color was perfect. I personally don't like the gold hardware bc I'm a silver lover but it's gorgeous either way!

what’s the point of washing all the surfaces if you’re just going to strip it completely?
That’s a good question. I guess for my own peace of mind. I know my surface is free of dirt and oils and that my stain/paint will have no problems adhering. 😊
