    I love when people have such a creative hobby, especially when it's done by such a young man...what you are doing and making is brilliant!

    I just purchased the templates. Now to order the supplies and get started. Last eva foam build I did was about 9 years ago of Master Shredder so fingers crossed I can get this done by Halloween.

    I Love your Work man and you are by far the one who makes the best and easiest to follow videos (tutorials) on TH-cam. With your Templates I've already build a few Helmets and I can't get enough of it. I would love to see how you build a Tie Fighter helmet and get the templates, Just a recommendation for the next project 😉
    Keep it up, Mate. I'm excited for your future work ❤️

      Thanks! That means a lot :) I don't know if I'll get to make a Tie pilot helmet as I have less and less time to make videos, but maybe someday.

    The build I’ve been waiting for!!! Thanks, man. The Mando build was a big hit and now I’m going to build this one for myself. You are the best! Ordering now.

      By a 3D model for the armor, use Pepakura modeler to create a papercraft template for the armor from that 3D file, that’s one of the best ways to make templates, Tristan makes his by tracing on top of a model and then builds the templates, it’s very time consuming for a suit of armor few people like

    I love the video and the design, building it for the first time. I was hoping you could give some advice. I am using liquid modelling paste for the joins however after application and sanding it seems to be smoother than the rest of the part and it is clearly visible after painting.

    I love your builds and how easy they are to follow. I know you’re busy but I think building the Armorer’s helmet from the Mando series would be a cool project. Keep up the awesome work dude 🤘🤘🤘

    Love your work and great video. How long would this whole process take? It’s now the 2nd of October. If I worked on it everyday do you think it would be possible to complete by the coming Halloween?

    • @TristanMaker
      @TristanMaker  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes! A project like this can take anywhere from 60 to 120 hours depending on your skill level and perfectionism.

    Hey, Tristan. We are in the process of building the helmet and the armor but we can't find your video on the lower half of the body armor. Is that not out yet? If not, when do you expect to have it out? (We are trying to make these for Halloween and want to make sure we have time to spend on all the detail)

    • @TristanMaker
      @TristanMaker  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The video should be out tomorrow if everything goes to plan :)

    Hey Tristan how long in total did it take you to build this? I’m going to 3D print the shoulder bells and chest plates simply for the weight, but everything else will be foam

    • @TristanMaker
      @TristanMaker  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to say. Maybe around 50 to 60 hours for the whole armor. This will change with your experience level

    Do you have the templates for the arc trooper modification for the clone armor on your etsy page?

    • @TristanMaker
      @TristanMaker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately no. I made them from scratch really quickly for a Comiccon so I never got around to making templates for them.

    • @ibanezgsr
      @ibanezgsr ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I recently made an Arc Trooper helmet using the phase 2 clone trooper helmet with the phase 1 fin and a variation of the right site ear piece for the range finder. I am very happy with the result and I recommend to do this if you want an Arc Trooper helmet. :)

      These templates are for sale as I put a lot of work into them and the tutorial videos. Some other makers offer some free templates (Much Props, Andrew DFT, Ryzer) you can look into that.

    Also, where do you buy your 20mm foam? We are having a hard time tracking some down. Thanks!

    • @TristanMaker
      @TristanMaker  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't buy 20mm foam. I simply glue 2 sheets of 10mm foam together.
