It’s unbelievable that you don’t have more subs, I made your Mando helmet design, it turned out great! If you ever make wrecker from bad batch you can count on atleast one sale for that one too!
Great work my man, just purchased the armour to go with my helmet I purchased and already completed. Helped such much to achieve what I wanted to do and make my own boba fett armour just in a different colour in my own paint scheme
Can you make a video on how you make your templates please? I'm curious to see if you design them online first since they're so clean and symmetric looking
Love the vids Just getting into making foam cosplay outfits for my daughter First attempts have been ok but have taken for ever to make What grade of Eva foam do you use? Have you done a video on all the tools and materials you use?
I like to use medium density foam for helmets and high density foam for armors. I haven't done a video on the tools I use, but I show each tool being used in each of my build videos.
Love the vids and have purchased the templates. What is the scale for the templates so that I can print them out for the correct size? I do have access to a plotter as well if that can make it easier. Thanks for the help!
Hi, you can watch the printing tutorial video linked in the product description on Etsy to know how to properly print the templates. There is also a sizing chart in the pictures of the listing to help you print at the right scale for you.
Most of the armor is pretty simple to make, so if you put in the time and don't rush the process, you can totally pull it off. If it's your first time making an armor like this, skip the small intricate details and focus on what's most important :)
Hi. Great video! Will be wanting to purchase a set of blueprints, juat a quick question. Do your templates show which parts need to be certain foam thickness? And also does it inlclude a shopping list? Just so i know how much foam to purchase. Many tha ks for the incredible video!
@TristanMaker do you have a brand of EVA foam you like to use? I'm trying to figure out what I want to purchase to make this with your template, but I want to make sure I'm buying a quality foam.
How do you heat form foam? only thing I can think of that I could use that I have would be a hair dryer. Also, would epoxy 2 work or is contact cement needed?
A hairdryer doesn't get hot enough. You'll need a heat gun which you can get for as little as 20$. Expoxy won't work. You need contact cement, and super glue for the smaller parts.
Could we have a list of supplies you used? Like how much of the different foams you used and how much I’ll need to complete this. I found some of the foam at hobby lobby, but don’t know how much I’ll need and what sizes and mm.
There's a materials list a the bottom of the product description on Etsy. As for the amount of foam, I'm not sure exactly, but with a 3x1 meter sheet of 8mm foam, and a 1x1 meter sheet of every other thicknesses specified on the templates, you should have more than enough. I hope this helps!
So for buying the sheets of foam for the armour. If I bought a 35" × 59" sheet roughly how many of those would I need. Like would 1 8mm and 1 6mm sheet of that do it?
You can scale the templates for a kid using the sizing chart in the pictures of the listing on Etsy and by following the printing tutorial video linked in the product description on Etsy
Can I get the 3D print files or do they come with the templates because I’m 3D printing a full boba fett and don’t want to model that by myself just was wondering🎉
I select the "poster" format in Adobe acrobat Reader. It prints the templates on multiple pages which I tape together. You can watch the printing tutorial video linked in the product description on Etsy. I show my printing process in it.
You mention left gauntlet but it was on your right arm, thats all and some pics had the missile on the left. All good mate, great video looking at making it soon
I'm from Canada so I get my foam from True North Cosplay. If you live in the United States, I recommend getting it from TNT Cosplay Supplies or Blick Art Materials. I hope this helps!
and also since you are Canadian you know how to speak French? Because some region of Canada speaks French. For better communication I wish you a good day.

Your templates are so accurate it’s crazy. You should definitely do Vader’s ESB helmet
Just found this channel. Idk how it took this long but immediately subscribed. This is some awesome work my friend.
Thank you for your support! :)

Thanks for the nice comment and for your support! I'm you like my work :)
Your attention to detail is on point ! The armor turned out great sir👍👍
Thank you!
I love this, bought the templates and have been working on it. I wish my lines looked that clean lol
Can you make a video on how you make your templates please? I'm curious to see if you design them online first since they're so clean and symmetric looking
That's something I'm looking into. I just want to make sure I explain it properly because it's a very specific process :)
@@TristanMaker Awesome thank you!
Great video tutorial, keep up the awesome work !
Thank you!
I’ve been SO excited for this video!!!!
Yay!
this was very thorough and easy to understand, i want to make it for halloween so bad, and you earned a new sub :)
Cool! Thanks for your support!
I've done a cosplay of boba fett out of yoga's floor mats and it came out pretty well, until the convention time, show me how to paint then
That's coming up in my next video! In just a couple of weeks.
This is awesome! I think I am going to give it a shot! Thanks for showing us your trade secrets! haha
Cool! No problem
Thst is amazing build .
wooww... nice work... Would you ever consider doing General Grievous???
Can’t wait

Would you ever consider doing a c3p0 or 4lom? I love your tutorials!
That's something I always wanted to make! Maybe someday :)
Awesome templates. Is it possible you can make a Tron Legacy costume?
How difficult would most of this process be for beginners? As I am making a mandalorian costume this Halloween but I have never made one before
Most of the armor is pretty simple to make, so if you put in the time and don't rush the process, you can totally pull it off.
If it's your first time making an armor like this, skip the small intricate details and focus on what's most important :)
I really love the undersuit in the picture, what did you use for it?
Thanks! I made it from a hoodie, a t-shirt and a long sleeve turtle neck shirt.
Are you gonna show that in the video i'm thinking about copying your undersuit for my cosplay 😄
I didn't record the process but I'll for sure show the different pieces and explain how it was made! :)

Yes each part has the required foam thickness indicated on it. There's a list of supplies needed in the product description on Etsy.
@@TristanMaker thankyou!
Fine job!
Thanks!
Hi.
Your tutorial is best, but bought your proposal and i dont know in what format to print it.

@@TristanMaker Awsome thanks for letting me know! I'll probably order everything later today. I look forward to making it!

@@TristanMaker so talented dude, and your works so clean *chefs kiss*
can't wait to see it finished!
How did you make the flak vest for the armor ? I really like the look of yours and would like to give it a try.
Watch my last video, I show how I made it :)
@@TristanMaker Awesome thank you!
@@TristanMaker Which video was it??
The video on how to paint the Boba Fett armor.
Are you gonna make a video for Boba's jetpack?
I'm hoping to make one soon!
Any tips for shrinking the template down to fit a child?
You can scale the templates for a kid using the sizing chart in the pictures of the listing on Etsy and by following the printing tutorial video linked in the product description on Etsy
Hey Tristan! I don’t suppose u have a link to the zippers u used on the boots or what u used to attach them??
Unfortunately no. I bought them at a physical store that only exists locally.
@@TristanMaker ok..thanks for getting back to me! Did u super glue them on?
Any chance you can do Imperial stormtrooper armor to go with the helmet?
It's on my list of things to build! :) I just don't know when I'll have time to make one.
Fome BAAH I'm welding metal for mine. XD
How can i get a list of everything i need before starting?
Have you ever done captain falcon armor and helmet ? From smash bros ultimate
That would be sick !
Haven't done one yet!
If I don't have Heat Gun Can I use my hair dryer?
Unfortunately no, it doesn't get hot enough. The good news is that even the cheapest heat gun will work. :)

And where can I download your templates?
Did he say how thick the EVA foam needs to be?
Can I get the 3D print files or do they come with the templates because I’m 3D printing a full boba fett and don’t want to model that by myself just was wondering🎉
I only sell the digital foam PDF templates, no 3D files. Galactic Armory has great 3D files for Boba Fett's armor
Ok. Thanks love your video
Hello tristan can i change the gauntlet to be 6mm foam?
Yes, it should not be an issue.
Quick question how do you print to templates so big
I select the "poster" format in Adobe acrobat Reader. It prints the templates on multiple pages which I tape together.
You can watch the printing tutorial video linked in the product description on Etsy. I show my printing process in it.
@@TristanMaker so then when I trace do I cut the pieces out individually
Watch the video on the Boba Fett helmet. I show how to transfer the templates to EVA foam.
think you got left and right gauntlet
mixed up, correct me if i am wrong??
No I made sure to double check that while making the templates.
You mention left gauntlet but it was on your right arm, thats all and some pics had the missile on the left. All good mate, great video looking at making it soon
what density foam do you use? or what supplier should i buy from?
I'm from Canada so I get my foam from True North Cosplay.
If you live in the United States, I recommend getting it from TNT Cosplay Supplies or Blick Art Materials.
I hope this helps!
how many feet of foam should i get?
can you leave some links to the foam
Does it warp with humidity ?
Nope, EVA foam is waterproof. Of course the paint you apply over it also has to be waterproof.
Merci beaucoup
What white pen did you use to trace template?
It's a silver sharpie
i want this template
Hi where can I find the template pieces???
They are available in my Etsy store which is linked in the video description.
Please provide a link to the armour template
The link to my Etsy store is in the description of the video
can you send the templates

Non malheureusement faire les voiceovers prend énormément de temps, c'est pourquoi je les fait seulement en anglais.
@@TristanMaker je comprend car sa s'étend à un plus large public mais pas de soucis je ferai avec😁
