Stop washing your clothes after EVERY wear (Do this instead ✔️)

- Here’s a loose guideline for how often you should be washing your clothes. The truth is you don’t HAVE TO wash them after a single wear. This of course depends on how much you typically sweat, how long you wore that item for, etc.
If what you’re wearing got dirty or sweaty in one single wear, then please wash it 😂 but if you wore a tee for a few hours, it’s likely you can at least get another wear before throwing it in the laundry.
Washing your clothes less often is better for the environment, keeps your clothes looking new for longer, and saves you $$$.
How often do you wash your clothes?

Should you be telling us not to wash our clothes after ever wear and then say in the same video that underwear and socks should be washed after every wear? You expect us to take advice from someone who contradicts himself? Lol stupid is as stupid does, this content is so unintelligent....get a grip moron
Unless you’re a teenager…
You we got the same dryer, you know how to get rid code CrE?
this is totally personal and subjective. I have to change my top after each wear/shower cycle because I get sweaty there. I very rarely get sweaty feet, so I replace my socks much more rarely
I dont understand for all, denim
I go by:
- does it smell?
- did i drop food on it?
- is there any visible grime?

All of this is true IF you don't sit on public transport.
Like he said "it depends on where you live and a bunch of different factors"
@@OkayJose like if where you live homeless people frequently soil public transportation
This should be a more liked comment
And if you live in a cold climate country
Actually I don't care wether I sit on public transport or not
Shirts and tanks def need a wash after one wear
Definitely agree! Lol I was thanking the same thing!😊
Yeah
I guess the guy is using them only for a few minutes :D
@@akosnemeth I know right...lol
Can't make any general statement really. Sometimes 2-3 wear are fine, but other times it's barely 1 wear.
This apply only if you live in a colder country
Yep! Disclaimer in description
@@RahulKumar-oz7vp you can. Just click the 3 dots on the screen either at top right or near the sahre button. It varies according to devices
Anything that touches your skin direct like t-shirt or vest surely washed after every wear ?? Am I the only one here? Fair enough jumpers etc but that's like saying wear your boxers 2 to 3 times before washing haha
@@RahulKumar-oz7vpwell change your pants man
Or a dry climate. I live in a place with 4 seasons but it's very dry with no humidity.
Me who sweats like crazy: *imma pretend I didn't see that*
Me in the summer 😂
That part!!!😂
Oh god, please wash them after every wear if you sweat a lot. 😭
I live on a tropical island where it's summer time all year long. I HAVE to wash my tops after each wear lol.

Do NOT dry clean your suit after 3 wears. You can go seasons without ever doing anything to it. Spot treat it for stains but if you don’t sweat profusely or get it dirty in any way just leave it alone. Wool, linen, and other natural fibers are really resilient. Dry cleaning will eat at the fibers and will likely make high stress areas blow out faster (crotch). It also discolors the fabric slowly so if you dry clean do both the top and bottom at the same time.
so after how many wears should I dry clean it?
Exactly. All the advice given is rubbish and then he throws in a clothes disclaimer. Honestly complete nonsense
@@tenerife_sea only when its really required, for reference last year I washed my blazer either none or once and wore it 100+ times (Its part of a uniform I don't strain other clothes that badly)
absolutely! I wear a suit everyday for work it would be completely absurd and unnecessary to dry clean it every 3 days. I get all 12 suits dry cleaned about 2 times a year!!
The crotch is a very very high stress area for my pants.
Try living in Texas tropical humidity… it reached 114° in the summer so yeah we wash our clothes after every wear.
What he said at the end is very important!
The breakdown he did is ONLY if you work a cushy job.
All the rest of us know most of our clothes come off in the garage and go straight to the laundry room before we shower 🤣
I live in Mumbai, and the month of May has me feeling like I need to wash my clothes every hour.
Soo truee 😭
Cries in Delhi
Yeah because you drink cow urine, and sometimes it can drop on your cloths
*Goan heat intensifies*
How hot is it in Mumbai
Thanks but I’ll continue to wash every time as normal 😊
Says those whose mom does their laundry.
(Not necessarily you… just reminds me of a preteen I know. Had to send them this video.)
You’re destroying your clothes that way and is not necessary but do you!
Idk how you wash your clothes but my quality stays the same plus people have different circumstances like living in hotter climates = constant sweat
lifehack: if you don't take it off for a week, it counts as one wear
If I go to a public place and sit somewhere, it's getting washed.
If you just shower with your clothes on like me, you’ll never have to wash your clothes.
😂😂😂😂
I'm a sweaty boy imma wash mine after every wear esp since my bo smells like moldy laundry for some reason its a bad scene
Use a bidet my g

Dude literally said depends where u live and how much u sweat and some other factors lmfaoooo.
If I sit in my car during summer I lose a pound in sweat😂 I’ll stick to washing my shirts and shorts after each wear
I literally only wash my clothes if it smells or if it's visibly dirty. Sometimes that just takes one wear, sometimes it can take a week. But for some things like jeans, that takes at least a month if I don't spill anything on it.
He does know anything lol. No need to wash a suit every 3 wears. You wash a suit every season - max.
Fr. If you wear a suit everyday you can wash it every 6 months or just wait until you get a stain.
If you don't wear the suit often then it can go years without washing.
@@baz1184 isn't it going to smell if you wear it every day and don't wash it?
@@sweettea1193 yes it will i dont know what they're talkin about

@@PeaceOfMake you're all clearly kids who have never worked in an office where everyone wears suits.
I know more often then not my clothes don’t smell but at the same time I sweat a fuck ton because I get hot super easily, so I reasonably have to wash after each wear.
My dude has never been to Memphis in the summer time. We change our drawers like four times a day.
Can't help to wash them all after every wear if its hot like 100° and humid like 70%
Dude just said In his last video we need to wash our hand towels more often
Humidity: "Hi there clean cloths, let me ruin your day"
Y’all need to read the description 😂 it specifically says that if it gets remotely dirty or sweaty you need to wash it
Who the fuck wears a suit and shirt for a full day and doesn’t get in any way sweaty? This dude live in the arctic?
Starting to sound like you should wash it after every wear 😂 unless your sittin in an freshly cleaned comfortable air conditioned room your gonna need to throw that shirt in the wash.
This literally exactly how I do it and Ive never watched your channel.
I only once every 6-12 months do jackets and that’s only if necessary. Jeans every 6-12 wears depending on what I was doing. Sweatpants the same around 5 more or less, and the tees spot on around 2-3.
People said I was crazy for how often I wash my jeans and sweatpants but I knew I was right and my science teacher in high school said I was to! Crazy how I matched your dates exactly without ever watching your videos! I think it’s just common sense!
If it don’t smell and ain’t dirty no need to wash! Dope video! Will subscribe and like!
Me before watching this video-
*Wash clothes after every wear*
Me after watching this video-
*Wash clothes after every wear*
😅
I wash all my items WAY more often than this, except my suits, which I wash WAY less often than every 2-3 wears
My shirts get dirty WAY faster than my suits! Can’t imagine washing them at the same rate
Pilowcase everywear. I saw a pimple recently, and i thought to my self: daaaaam had a long time seeing this phenomenon!
Yes, this works for people who are not sweaty. I am lean and I don't sweat much, I already follow same methods.
I sweat like an animal, i need a new tshirt daily sometimes two
I’am extremely clumsy so unfortunately my jeans get washed after almost every wear ( toothpaste, coffee, food, mud etc).
If you’re showering everyday then following this isn’t terrible.
Washed mostly everything after one or two wears depending on the season, now I know why all my clothes are torn
I usually wear everything for a week . Gotta work smart
Lol🤣
Hahaha....nooooooo
NEXT TO SKINS SHOULD ALL BE WASHED AFTER EACH WEAR, THAT INCLUDES TEES AND TANKS
A damp towel to remove any marks is a great choice. Like the description though with summer coming this video arrived the wrong month.
I sweat enough that it’s like wetting the bed at the end of shift so I wash my clothing all after one wear
dude all my clothes smell like a sweat-party after two wears...😢
I just buy new clothes every week and donate last weeks clothes.
Why? 🥺
He was saved on that last part il cuz hell naw 😂😂
Yes is the answer. No video required.
Note: It all depends on how must *stank* you have.
True. T shirts gonna be smelling after 2-3 wears...
@@ciccnick All it takes is one long drive 😂
Really useful 🔥
Yep, this is what I’ve come to learn on my own. This guy is exactly on par in my experience. Otherwise, your clothes won’t last long. Go out and buy a few seasonal coveralls for all seasons so when you’re working your clothes don’t get stained and all dingy.
This only applies if you sit at home and do nothing all day and you wake up at 2pm and go to bed by 9 pm.
People who live in the tropics and sit in a public transportation: "Well hello there."
Damn I been washing my stuff way too much no wonder it doesn’t last
colder climate residence can follow that but for tropical and warmer climate washing every wear or two is the limit
Meanwhile there's me. I sit, I sweat.
Asian mom entered the chat :
You do NOT need to dry clean suits every two or three wears! That's crazy!!
Once per season MAX
I sweat a lot and I live where humidity is high.
Shirts, t-shirts, lower and upper underwear: every wear. (Some shirts if not dirty up to three).
Socks: Up to two wears if not sweaty and smelly.
Jeans, cargo shorts: three to four wears. Sometimes the same for chino pants.
Pyjama: four to five wears.
In the winter I always wear a tight undershirt I wash daily and a sweater over it that I wash every 3-4 days. In the summer, I only wash gym clothes socks and underwear daily.
We live in the south and shirts and tanks for me have to be after each wear...i would stink! Jeans/pants you can wear more than once...but not 10 to12 wears..lol maybe 2 to 4 wears😊
Anything that is directly on your skin, wash everyday. Make sure not to use fragrance or strong softener because it will become irritating on the long run. Good luck!
Tees are one wear. They aren’t he worst but I definitely can smell if I press my nose to it after a day .
Tell this to my sweat glands.
yeah.. you do you and I'll stay fresh and wash after every wear
Yea not in Miami
facts
Definitely not!
This just grows bro
Need an admin just to keep track of how many times I wore each article of clothing
Gen Z needs a video to know when to wash their clothes.
Bro if you aren't washing your tee after every wear I'm not sitting near you
I sweat a lot, so I kinda up some of those wash frequencies.
Yea in Asia, it is very hot and humid so even hair has to be washed daily sometimes twice daily.
I like it when there's still a hint of that last designer fragrance in the shirt. But I'm sure he means the casual shirts. Work shirts you wash daily or it'll have that smell you can't wash out.
get well soon boi🤝 have fun smellin
Me who's living in the tropical country: immediately wash!
Sir I live in houston and it’s summertime. My clothes will be washed daily thank you 😂 I could do this in the “winter” here, but definitely not summer.
I go by how clumsy I was that day and how much I spilled on my clothes, lol! Sometimes it’s a wash them every time you wear them and others three days is fine.
It depends on the season for me. I sweat a lot so in summer time, if I'm active during the day, a lot of clothes come back drenched by thr end of the day.
Good luck trying to wear a white button up without getting something on it. I am usually on my 2nd one before I get out the house
Yea I live in the south part of India, imma wash everything after every wear thanks even winters. When I was in the US, I used to follow this schedule and it was good (except the suit one coz I didn't own one I had formal pants and shirts) while it lasted .
Bruh my stuff needs to be washed everytime I wear it trust me😂
Tell that to my sweat
Bro if you come to Malaysia, please wash your clothes after each wear. And you're not supposed to be only wearing one set of clothes the whole day.
That is actually very good advice
These words cannot be said to all people, as the weather differs from one country to another. You cannot re-wear the same thing in hot countries such as African countries, where you sweat every moment you move. Perhaps he can say it to people who live in cold countries.
As long as you don’t, sweat, eat, or go outside
Living in a hot state, I sometimes sweat out of two whole outfits lol. Probably fine in cloudy/ cold weather
My stress sweat says no 😂
These recommendations only work in colder climates. If you live in places like Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas, then you absolutely need to wash pretty much all clothes after a single wear.
Me spilling on myself every time I eat: after every single wear
I always forget how many times I've worn something. so i just wash them after a single use
It’s the sniff test for me and if it passes did I drop anything on it 😂😂😂😂
I only reuse jeans and hoodies/jackets. Everything else must get washed after one use whether I sweat in it or not
bud ima wash them after i wear em and your not gonna tell me that i shouldn’t 😂😂
You haven't smelt my pits after a day in a top mate, 2 days it will walk to the wash basket itself. 😂
I just go by the sniff test. If it passes, I wear.
Lol as a stay at home mom the t shirts I wear are DONE for by the end of the night 😂 there’s no chance they get a second wear
I grew up throwing my clothes in the laundry hamper after every wear
Gym shorts you're holding up there look awfully good to sweat profusely in
Febreeze my stuff and hang it outside, only thing to change every time is socks and underwear and gym tshirts
0:11 whoaaaaa hold up. Check out this dudes underwear drawer. That is freggin phenomenal I hope you do a video and show the rest of us slobs how we can do that too. I can never find the pair I want when I want to wear it. Genius.
I agree with the general idea, but suits should only be washed (dry cleaned, of course) if they smell or are visibly dirty
Good luck with that in the Mediterranean during the summer (or any season besides winter, tbh)
this only works when you only work at home 😅
POV: You live in Asia and none of this makes sense
