- Video shows some of World War II's iconic standard-issue weapons. It contains weapons made by 4 major fighting countries showcased in Fallout 4.
Hi all, this video was in the making for a good while so one can say that this was my biggest project as of this video. I made this video for the history buffs out there, who enjoy WWII weapons in other games where they are not
made in the vanilla game, so I sincerely hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it!

yeah i installed it, and it basically only appears as OP legendary fully upgraded varients on highlevel gunners. I wore fully upgraded x-01 armor and i died in 0.2 seconds.
No kidding. In my last playthrough I defended the castle with that beast of a gun. Chewed the synths and coursers like paper
The M1 Garand is extremely realistic to the actual sounds of real Garand!!!👍👍👍
unlike some other mods with ridiculously modernized weapons like MP5, M4, AK, MP7, etc these guns fits particularly well to the 1950s-60s asethetics of the game, i wish we have these with animations on this quality
My thoughts exactly. Idk why someone really wants MW2 guns in Fallout 4. Ww2 guns perfectly fits in them and if you really want a "Modern" gun that fits the time line then maybe an Armalite 10.
Except the m4 and ak are canon in fallout in the form of the assault carbine and the Chinese assault rifle.
@@durstloscher2362 "modern" guns (or rather contemporary for the 1990's) always existed in fallout. It was only in fallout 3 and 4 were the atompunk aesthetic retroactively affects the arsenal. Its a world were tommy guns, p90's and rayguns rubbed shoulders.
All but the MP7 are true to the game actually, Hell the AKM should be marked as being made in Russia too

That M1903 would make a good hunting rifle replacer
Would be better than the hunting rifle too. Does more damage because its a larger caliber weapon, plus with those animations and sounds, it’s way more satisfying too.
Shut install a right handed replacer, and re texture mod, better animations and you can make the rifle look however you want
Yeah, the base version of the Hunting Rifle looks stupid. Why would you saw off the stock and barrel off of a rifle?
@@johnnyg4mer764 most of the vanilla guns in fallout 4 I hated there was only a few guns I actually liked the Deliverer, the Handmade Rifle, and the radium rifle
All the animations in Fallout 4 make Rainbow Six Siege look like MW2019.
I like how some of the guns use in game sounds, I always felt that the M1 grand would have used the assault rifle sound if it was in the gsme
That's actually true, they cut the M1 from the base game but recycled the sound.

Part 2 would be good,there are many other ww2 weapons on nexus plus some French and Japanese ones. It would be nice if you added a list of the mods you are using :)

The Garand is so badass, had that mod on and off ever since I started playing. God forbid you run into an NPC with it, even a low-level raider will fuck you up lol.
Some of these modders do such an amazing job, they make models even better than big known AAA games out there
When me and the gang pull up to the function wit the comically large m1 and m3 carbine then rack it on the left side with an invisible bolt.
Did anyone notice that when he inserted the clip for the kar 98k that the clip went in with the rounds?
For the German weapons, you forgot the MP40, a very iconic WW2 SMG
You left off the Reising M50 smg for the Americans which is the default configuration of the Vintage SMG mod. There’s also a S&W m1917 revolver mod on the nexus for them as well

There's also an MP 40 out there, and a BAR. I think those are the only ones left
I believe the BAR has subpar models and animation, that's why I left it out. As for the MP-40, they hosted the file at some third party website made by the author, at the time of making the video I did not know this website existed
you should check out the bar by anotherone also comes with a czech rifle by the same mod author absolutely phenomenal mods

they are. Fallout universe only starts to diverge from ours when WW2 ends
Seeing the German weapons written as they were intended instead of their abbreviations threw me WAY off guard until I saw them in action.
If Bethesda want to make Fallout 5 right, they need to hire these type of mod artists to make the guns... that, and good writers too.
The state of Bolt Action mods in Fallout is very sad .

This is very impressive and mostly because ¡are mods!, not like BF1 than was a AAA game, this was made with much care of details (of course, as the base game allows).
So i hope that the author get the recognize than deserved.

The M1 garand is one of the best guns to exist
I'm guessing the fully upgraded versions are supposed to be what they might look like and what you could do if given modern day mods and upgrades. I would rather stick with tech and gadgets from the 40s and 50s though, but there's always someone out there who wants to mix their drum magazines and thermal scopes with their WW2 guns.

10:22 This one is actually WW1 era weapon systems. for gun crews or airmen maybe? giving 'rifle-like' capabilities to these men while retaining higher rate of fire comparable to any bolt actions rank and file of that time were all usings.

Mod author of the M1 couldn't be bothered to make custom animations for the gun
The Thompson already exists in Fallout 4, so does the VG 1-5, but I didn't know the Deliverer was based on a WW2 pistol until now. There are other WW2 weapons that also exist in Fallout New Vegas
The Grease Gun, Browning Hi-Power, BAR, and the M1 Garand are in New Vegas.
vanilla Thompson and Volkssturmgewehr are awful though

@@toxiccorgi2108 having a somewhat good Legendary effect doesn't make it less of an awful weapon aesthetically. besides, the Kiloton Radium Rifle has the same effect, does much more damage and deals normal, radiation and explosive damage at the same time

I remember using some of these mods including the Vietnam Era mods. Used to play with them alot until the game kept crashing 😅.

all of these guns are freaking awesome i have to say, but some of the weapon sounds make me sad, i wish the bren had some more heft to its sound, otherwise great mods though
I liked the look of all the weapons used here. But when it comes to the Springfield 1903, could you try and work on the animation? That looks like its hovering over the rifle while reloading and the bolt is in the side of the players hand for some reason
Same with the Kar to be honest. Both the 1903 and the Kar in your showcase here look like they use the Mosin Animation

Why do they never add the sight hood to the kar98k in games?
Too restrictive to have the modern style optics so they have to make it able to be used without lining up properly.

@@Carlos-ui5dx It's sort of because of how most pistol animations nowadays are held by two hands. Feels more stable and supported you know? Seeing it held in one hand especially if its aimed down the sights just makes me feel weird.

Anotherone has a bunch of high quality ww2 firearms including the sten and a better version of the ppsh-41 and most recently the pps-43.
Could you make a modpack with all of these weapons to make it easier to download all of them

Trench Guns were actually in 16 gauge more than 12 gauge believe it or not. 12 gauge shotguns didnt come into military service until vietnam
