James Murphy in testament ruled 🤘🏻🤘🏻
GUITAR GOD. JAMES MURPHY
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yup
Hell yes
He's 10 steps below Alex
@@davidhabig1636alex is great but not even close to James Murphy
JAMES MURPHY!!!!!!!!!!!
I broke my Testament cherry on this tour and finally got to see them live for the first time! Man I miss the 90's!!
Low is such an overlooked album. John Tempesta and James murphy played the shit outta that album and made it epic. It didn't leave my CD player for like 2 years.
Tempesta on this record is a monster. He forshadows all the great onesout there from vinnie to dave..
Arguably in their top 3 albums. Personally it's my favourite.
Its a really great album.
Dette is a great metal drummer...
Jon Dette Great Drummer 🤟🔥
James Murphy 🤩🤘
Bro it's hard to find such good quality of video with James Murphy in testament. Holy smokes... This album is the reason I've been playing guitar for 20 years. This was the album that came out when I first heard of them back when I was 12. Game changer!
And playing a fucking Strat no less.
@@jessewilliams7226 Probably a Hank Shermann fan! I like it.
2 uploads of this concert (I think), only way to see Legions In Hiding live, now I see James Murphy playing that song. I personally would have loved to hear 30 years of James Murphy and John Tempesta with Testament. Lombardo is good with them too. I'm guessing steve DiGiorgio is considered the better bassist (?). But I love Low & The Gathering, James Murphy with Testament Amazing
James Murphy is without a doubt one of the Greatest!
James Murphy from obituary in case you didn't know
James murphy 🤘
Low is one my favorite Testament albums….James killed on it.
I love Alex Skolnick, but holy hell James Murphy is so fucking awesome!
Chuck Billy ladies and gentlemen...WHAT A METAL VOICE !! seing this HUGE band in their prime play for 500 🥲
Evidence of what the Grunge period did to metal.

@@mikeanthony8934 I'm crying for you bro.
Just wish it had Shades of War...but that is one amazing set and video. What a find.
James Murphy's technique is impressive!!! ...the only one who reached the same level as Alex !!! I'm a fan of both, thanks for the video, I was looking for shows with James Masterrr!!! hail Testament 🤘🔥⛓️❤️😈
What a set. The greatest thrash metal band.
Chuck The Destroyer! P.s. James Murphy rules!
Chuck and Greg taking puffs during the solo in 'Alone in the Dark'. 😂🤘
haha that was cool
Low - My fave album by testamaent. Alex, Glenn and especially James and Eric - some of the best metal guitarists of all time. Dette nails Tempestas parts. 🤘🤘🤘🤘💙
wow james murphy era (aka BEST Testament era) live footage!!!!! this was the lean years for f metal….90s metal often referred to as the period that metal died is quite the opposite in my opinion. it was the well needed “cleansing” that weeded out the men from the boys so to speak…..got rid of the poseurs, got closer to the street to maximize the impact of the music! thank youuuuuu for the upload!
Low it’s a fantastic album….and that being said, even for all the love I have for Digiorgio playing, I prefer Greg Christian in testament. He also had a great tone and interesting bass lines !!!
Shit, that crowd is rabid! Murphy, Dette, just killer. Chucks voice is monstrous.
Deadly Lineup
Low is an absolute masterpiece.
Thanks for sharing!!! James Murphy and that set list!!!
That was a Killer Show! In a Killer Venue! TESTAMENT!🤘🏻🔥🔥✨
yeah i miss that place. back in the 80's it was called the on broadway and it was part of the big punk scene that was happening back then. the dead kennedys live home video from 85? was shot there.
@@JesseDavis95688 yeah rock on Broadway and Mabuhay Gardens were so great! Saw Many shows there! Then you had the Stone right across the street! Marty”s around the corner! Wolfgangs on Columbus! And the old Waldorf on battery! What a time it was my friend!🔥🔥🤘🏻
mabuhay gardens, that was one i never got familiar with, which one was that? is the building being used as something else? or a still a club thats maybe using a different name today?
or.. was the mab and on broadway the same place?
@@JesseDavis95688 Rock on Broadway was right next door to The Mab! And you know the building is still intact and the on Broadway sign is still up! I don’t think anything”s happening there where the mab was I think it’s a dance club or something, the Stone became a strip club for a while but they closed, only the memories remain, it was a glorious time back in the 80”s and early 90”s!✨
Can't believe I stumbled across this rare gem that I've never seen!!! Bad ass!!
🔥TESTAMENT🔥🤘👹🤘🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact future bass player Steve DiGiorgio doing security bounding people of the stage
Great post... many thanks ...
great band, great show.. great times!
refuse/resist was a nice surprise
Jon Dette on the drums
2023 🙋
Best testament era, love to see it
JAMES MURPHY! 94years
Thank you for posting!
thank you!!
old memories
Precious, mate!
Hears kinda a sad thing every guitar that James plays in this video gets stolen from a where house I think or studio where they were stored
This is great
Amazing
The energy!
Wasn’t it called „Ruthies Inn“, that legendary thrasher home for Exodus and all of the bay area??
that was a different club. in a different town. from an earlier period. ruthies was the eighties, ruthless was the nineties. im not really sure if it was a play on the ruthies name, or if some of the same people were involved.
@@JesseDavis95688 yeah, Ruthies Inn was in Berkley CA, not far from SF, just near Oakland on the other side of the bridge. RuthLess Inn was in SF
Hahaha funny how Chuck's pour everyone Keg of beer 🍺
Jhonn tempesta on drums awesome 👌
Jon dette
its jon dette. the two guys dont look anything like each other.
@@agusbf6284
Jon dette is a beast on the drums 🥁
Great
Fender stratocaster?!
What can't it do? Preferably HSS for metal but still.
Pro Tip: Don't bury the sound guy on the mic after the 2nd song lol.
I think this is Ruthie's Inn, not Ruthless Inn!🤘🤣😈
ruthies was active during the 80's in berkeley. this is the ruthless inn in sf. and was previously known as the on broadway, where many punk acts played during the 80's.
Haven't heard of this band in a while haha! Great stuff, although I'm not too much into this kind of metal (then again who am I to judge, it's your content haha!) I'm sorry if this is an obscure request, but I've been on a R.E.M kick lately, and I'm particularly interested in any footage or audio from their Monster tour. I seem to recall someone uploading the May 15, 1995, shoreline amphitheater show, or one of the audiotapes from the 3 nights they played there, but I must be going crazy. If you don't have any footage or audio of that, that's okay too, just trying to see if someone actually did have that show up at one point.
ive never shot them, not my cup of tea.
@@JesseDavis95688 ah ok. If you have any pantera or Metallica stuff that would be great too. Anything from far beyond driven or black album stuff
I often wonder why Jon didn't record Demonic with these guys ... nothing against Gene.
He went on to White Zombie making like 10 times the money
RUTHIE'S
ruthies was in the 80's in berkeley. ruthless was in sf in the 90's.
Who's playing drum
john dette
i believe it's john tempesta.
its jon dette. tempesta left the band after they recorded the low album. he was replaced by dette who left in 95.
Drum hi-hat is left side as seen from us. So, he is John dette.
51:34 they introduce the drummer. Its John Dette.
GUITAR GOD. JAMES MURPHY. BADASS GUITAR PLAYER RIGHT NEXT TO GUITAR GOD. ALEX SKOLNICK. . CRANK IT UP LOUD. . HORNS UP. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
