Low is such an overlooked album. John Tempesta and James murphy played the shit outta that album and made it epic. It didn't leave my CD player for like 2 years.
Bro it's hard to find such good quality of video with James Murphy in testament. Holy smokes... This album is the reason I've been playing guitar for 20 years. This was the album that came out when I first heard of them back when I was 12. Game changer!
2 uploads of this concert (I think), only way to see Legions In Hiding live, now I see James Murphy playing that song. I personally would have loved to hear 30 years of James Murphy and John Tempesta with Testament. Lombardo is good with them too. I'm guessing steve DiGiorgio is considered the better bassist (?). But I love Low & The Gathering, James Murphy with Testament Amazing
James Murphy's technique is impressive!!! ...the only one who reached the same level as Alex !!! I'm a fan of both, thanks for the video, I was looking for shows with James Masterrr!!! hail Testament 🤘🔥⛓️❤️😈

wow james murphy era (aka BEST Testament era) live footage!!!!! this was the lean years for f metal….90s metal often referred to as the period that metal died is quite the opposite in my opinion. it was the well needed “cleansing” that weeded out the men from the boys so to speak…..got rid of the poseurs, got closer to the street to maximize the impact of the music! thank youuuuuu for the upload!
yeah i miss that place. back in the 80's it was called the on broadway and it was part of the big punk scene that was happening back then. the dead kennedys live home video from 85? was shot there.
@@JesseDavis95688 yeah rock on Broadway and Mabuhay Gardens were so great! Saw Many shows there! Then you had the Stone right across the street! Marty”s around the corner! Wolfgangs on Columbus! And the old Waldorf on battery! What a time it was my friend!🔥🔥🤘🏻
mabuhay gardens, that was one i never got familiar with, which one was that? is the building being used as something else? or a still a club thats maybe using a different name today?
@@JesseDavis95688 Rock on Broadway was right next door to The Mab! And you know the building is still intact and the on Broadway sign is still up! I don’t think anything”s happening there where the mab was I think it’s a dance club or something, the Stone became a strip club for a while but they closed, only the memories remain, it was a glorious time back in the 80”s and early 90”s!✨
that was a different club. in a different town. from an earlier period. ruthies was the eighties, ruthless was the nineties. im not really sure if it was a play on the ruthies name, or if some of the same people were involved.
Low it’s a fantastic album….and that being said, even for all the love I have for Digiorgio playing, I prefer Greg Christian in testament. He also had a great tone and interesting bass lines !!!
Haven't heard of this band in a while haha! Great stuff, although I'm not too much into this kind of metal (then again who am I to judge, it's your content haha!) I'm sorry if this is an obscure request, but I've been on a R.E.M kick lately, and I'm particularly interested in any footage or audio from their Monster tour. I seem to recall someone uploading the May 15, 1995, shoreline amphitheater show, or one of the audiotapes from the 3 nights they played there, but I must be going crazy. If you don't have any footage or audio of that, that's okay too, just trying to see if someone actually did have that show up at one point.
ruthies was active during the 80's in berkeley. this is the ruthless inn in sf. and was previously known as the on broadway, where many punk acts played during the 80's.

Tempesta on this record is a monster. He forshadows all the great onesout there from vinnie to dave..
Arguably in their top 3 albums. Personally it's my favourite.
Its a really great album.
Это мой любимый альбом Testament!!!!
Yeah, same for me! What a killer album...

Chuck and Greg taking puffs during the solo in 'Alone in the Dark'. 😂🤘
haha that was cool
Still my fav album. And that's a tough decision. This line up was so solid. Murphy took testament to the next level. 🤘🏻
Shit, that crowd is rabid! Murphy, Dette, just killer. Chucks voice is monstrous.

Fender stratocaster?!
What can't it do? Preferably HSS for metal but still.
Hears kinda a sad thing every guitar that James plays in this video gets stolen from a where house I think or studio where they were stored
Pro Tip: Don't bury the sound guy on the mic after the 2nd song lol.

john dette
i believe it's john tempesta.
its jon dette. tempesta left the band after they recorded the low album. he was replaced by dette who left in 95.
