Amazing upgrade for my truck, I'd definitely recommend them! Pricey for sure, but well worth the money to give a newer look to your truck. You get what you pay for anyways and with these lights you get a nice warranty!

The alpharex look so cheap. They recycled the computer from a 1987 Mr. Game and Watch toy so the sequential turn signals have a frame rate so slow you can keep count with your fingers.
How does the performance of these compare to a stock headlight retrofitted with either a Morimoto Mini D2S 5.0 or the Morimoto M BI-LED 2.0 projectors?
@@HeadlightRevolution Funny thing is that I have the Gen 1 Morimoto's that I replaced for the AlphaRex nova series 5th gen 2500 G2 LED projectors that I put on my 2012 RAM 2500 which I have to say that the AlphaRex are brighter.
I’ve seen the video comparing these to the new GTR carbide series. And while these are definitely brighter the GTR carbide has a better beam pattern. Can these be adjusted for a better beam pattern?
Your website indicates a resistor needs to be installed for it to work on 2015 model year trucks, but there aren’t any instructions on where/how the resistors are supposed to be installed.
Can you tell me if they all come like the ones here in the video because the ones on your website have orange córner plastic inside and I want the all clear no orange plastics.
All of these will come with amber side markers now so that they are completely DOT compliant, we offer a smoked sidemarker replacement but opening the lights would void warranty!

We do suggest using the recommended harnesses, but AlfaOBD will sometimes fix the issue without any extras. Not every truck is the same, and we've seen some cases where AlfaOBD doesnt help at all.

Are there similar quality led lights that are not blacked out? I like the amber look but I don’t know about the Black unless your truck is blacked out.

Question for you guys I have the same lights but with clear side marker, I brought them spring of this year and they do have that extra protection material around the projector to prevent melting, are those considered gen 2 with the brighter led chipset?

Due to legal reasons I need the DRLs to only light up in gear, in other words I'd prefer the factory DRL wire. Would I have to get an Alpha OBD or something along those lines to enable to DRL function, or still just plug and play?

What I'm asking is would I have to get something along the lines of an Alpha OBD dongle in order to to program the car to act like it's canadian or is it literally a matter of just plugging it in and having it?
you might be contradicting yourself. he says for oem spec in canada you leave as is and the drl will only light up when put in gear. he says if you wantr to have them light up in park you undo the connection and do the fuse tap @@Enchisedmy

Will these give the error code of bulbs light out even if they work. For example I replaced the License plate bulbs to led and they are really bright but get a constant error code in the message center of them being out? Thanks!
I installed the Alpharex Pro 2 projector headlights in my 2015 Ram and they are so dim that you can’t see much distance. I have tried to find LED bulbs to replace the Halogen bulbs but with no luck finding them. Any suggestions? C.S.

I installed led headlights on my 2012 ram 1500 and now the check engine light comes on so therefore my command start won't work. I have a canbus on all 4 bulbs. I've searched up and down on TH-cam and the interweb but can't find anything . Please help I want to keep the LEDs but need command start since I live in Canada. Thanks
iv bought the alpha rex nova from american trucks great lights but dont buy anything from american trucks open box I spent $840 for a cracked plastic mount no other problems a year and a half later 2 boards went out one in each light had a authorized serviceman test and see if repairable which after talking to alpha rex was going to replace if american trucks gave the approval which they denied for open box so I was stuck with the expensive lights unable to be repaired or replaced stay away from the open box items the may make promises but dont keep them later now that american trucks got bought out by a new company

I have the AlphaRex gen 1s on my 2009 and they're great. I really like these ones but the $1400+ prices is just way too much.

So for the fuse tap the wire just comes out the side and we force the fuse box shut? I was going to carve a half moon but maybe not?

The Morimoto headlights do have adjusters on the back so you can aim them as needed.
Are these adjustable while they are installed? Or do I need to keep taking them out to adjust them.
You can use the OEM adjustment points, which are located in the fender for the 09-18 Ram.

09-18 trucks can be adjusted using the OEM adjusters in the fender.

I have the projector headlights and have the blinker in the bulb set up as my drl via alfaobd. Will i still need to run the wire for these?
We do suggest using the recommended harnesses, but AlfaOBD will sometimes fix the issue without any extras. Not every truck is the same, and we've seen some cases where AlfaOBD doesnt help at all.

If you're running the DRL, is there a way to turn then off at all? Like in the Chevy trucks you can hit off twice and the DRL turns off
Not with these trucks, if the truck is on the DRL is on.

What if you have a rig that already has a drl function on the high beam. My trucks a 2011 3500.
You'll still need to run the fuse tap harness as this powers part of the turn signal!

The DRL comes on with ignition with out fuse tap, having them only come on in gear would be custom.

LED won't work in a 2015 truck. You'll need HID. I would suggest the GTR Lighting HID kit!

Unfortunately not, these are all amber side marker. We offer a smoked side marker but this requires opening the light which would void warranty.

I don't understanding why you testings the headlights on the wall. You have to go outside at night and show them on the road!!!
Beam pattern is important too, and the best way to visualize a beam is against a wall! We're doing more testing outside in our recent videos.
