Seeing a woman with little to no makeup on and such a lovely skincare routine is so refreshing…I’ve decided I’m so tired of seeing fake faces I’m giving up makeup (which says a lot bc I’m a retired makeup artist lol) and learning to become an expert in skincare with the same level of enthusiasm as makeup. Ur channel is inspiring!

The right side of her face practically changed in front of my eyes - the redness is gone and it looks slimmer, which leaves me in awe! I just got one of these Gua Sha/face roller kits, and I ended up here looking for "how to" tips. I didn't imagine I'm holding an immediate facelift tool in my hands though. Thank you for this video! Much appreciated!

@@nadya5503 I'm not super consistent lol but it works really well once I use it. I think choosing the right shape is more important than the brand - they're all made of the same material, but the shape should fit your face curves.

It was your original video that got me doing gua sha. I jade roll when I put on a sheet mask and gua sha a couple of times a week. Not just from getting better performance from my products but because it feels so good. I put on a little extra oil, put my gua sha in my pocket, go down stairs and do it while I'm watching Netflix. The beauty of that is when you find a bit that feels particularly good, you can spend a little longer there. When I did it as part of my routine in front of the mirror I'd just do the strokes move on and then stop but when you're relaxing, you definitely spend more time on certain areas. I got that idea from Lisa Eldridge because that's how she does her facial massage. Thank you for your videos and advice, I really appreciate them xxx

My skin is very sensitive though and gets irritated easily. Also, I have active acne, although I've already been through an Accutane treatment. That being said, I could never use a Gua Sha, sadly, something that I seen not being promoted enough about that tool, the fact that not everyone is able to use it.
A jade roller is fine on my face, though.

does the type of the stone matters? for example, gua sha jade vs obisdian vs rose quartz etc?

How long does the effects of gua sha last? And how often should this be done for maximum results?

Why isn’t my sculpting v like that? I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE! My Pro has the same edge as the intro tools 😕

Hi! This is our legacy shape of the pro, we ended up changing the shape a little, but it can be used the same way!

are you. It supposed to stroke over your skin with the edge facing down, not push up in the direction you’re going?

When using a gua sha tool, is the fact that it stretches the skin a good thing? It just seems to me this will cause sagging in the future because of the skin getting stretched so much?

Nadine Fourie Hi Nadine great question! Some believe that facial massage will cause sagging. But I have never seen that result when done correctly. So property technique is important. The stretch is so subtle and light when done with gentle to medium pressure. This is important. You never “yank” on your skin. This is more like a micro stretch that actually helps to release tension in tight tissues underneath. This activates better circulation which over time encourages better skin health, including elasticity. We have seen this be the case for so many people of all ages. Hope that helps!

I wish your tool was more affordable to purchase! Maybe you can do a promo or some kind of discount to help those who want one 🙂

Why not start with the intro tool. It’s affordable and you can get the kit that has oil and mist included. I did that when I started out.

I have been an ASMR junkie for a couple years now but have recently, at the age 33, decided its time to maintain some sort of regular skin care routine. What I have noticed is I have 3 regular products that I use daily( I would say I have a combination type skin....its not overly oily UNLESS I try a lotion or oil; so I dont) I wish I saw this video before I purchased a roller because I was pretty torn betw the two option. At this point I will just get the Gua Sha tool too. I heard what you said about maybe doing the roller in morning and other at night when you have more time. But would you also recomend perhaps roller 3 days, gua sha the other two? or visa versa? I run a bar so its often difficult for me to have a consistent skin care “time frame”. Also, I live in the Philadelphia suburbs and would love to know where/if I can get professional gua sha facials or even an ASMR themed massage. I have looked. Maybe if you know anyone in my area or a Spa that specializes. Oh, last question. Could I technically use my jade roller to do the techniques you show in your beginner video? ex: the back of neck...... THANKYOU again! You are so elegant and easy to learn from and watch🤗

Hi Sandra, thank you very much for your video.
I now have both and like to use the roller to depuff my undereye.
Do you have any lymphatic massage which also help with puffy eyes and dark circles?
Also, I prep my skin with an eye cream and a moisturizing fluid because my face does not really like oils. Do you think it is also fine or is oil absolutely necessary?

You should hold your nose while pushing so it won't pressure to your nose !
