Man i was honestly just thinking of some pro-comp 17" 97series wheels with 285/75R17s and a set of 4 Monroe load-adjusting shocks which generally give about an inch of lift in compromise for a stiffer ride almost like a solid axle truck.. I've drove both solid axle and tortion setups and kinda like a bit of a stiffer ride in a truck as such, but I'm not sure they'd fit and do kinda expect rub but I like tires around this size bc they seem almost perfect to fit these
I just got those wheels 17" Pro Comp 97 series from Summit on some 265/70 Thunderer Trac Grip Mt, Cant wait to put them on... By the way nice truck them Duratracs are Bad Ass .👍
I wonder if that isn't more brand related, for the rubbing. I have 285/75/16's bfg ko2 on my 1500 pick up and suburban. I only get rubbing on the A arm and frame on really sharp turns. I have no fender rubbing at all. Almost a full 1 1/2" to spare. My suburban I did have to bend a plate in the rear fender to help clear. But really haven't had any major issues. Best of luck to you.
Good to know. Just installed a 2" rear/3" front lift on a '95 4WD Suburban, getting new wheels and tires (285/75-16) in a couple of days. Was sweating the clearances.
Man, what a sweet set up. Those wheels and tires completely transformed the look!

What’s it look like now need another vid!!
Good looking Tahoe 4Sure
Cool truck. A 3” lift would help with that rubbing

Nothin like an old county Obs
That look bad ass man is the truck on stock lift
Nice tahoe. Still got it? Looks state owned
I got 4 285/75/16 for $600 brand new at tire shop near my house
Good share thanks
Thanks for video. Do you guys know if these will fit on a 1988 c2500 Silverado with leveled front end (1.5 inch raise) ???
I was wondering if you cranked the keys, or its at stock height. Looks amazing!
Stock height. Minor trimming
Oh okay, great! Thanks for replying so quick!!
@@Outdoors-ty8hp do you think I'd have problems with the weight of my plow
selfmade Rj with these size tires on a 1/2 ton truck I wouldn’t want to use a plow. A plow on a 1/2 ton with 265s be totally fine
@@Outdoors-ty8hp i have a 2500 3/4 ton but i like the beefier look
Did you have to trim anything? I have the exact same Tahoe. Used to be a game warden rig in Texas did some upgrades
Yes I did. I had to trim to front bumper a hair on both sides. Took about 5 mins with a sawsall and everything was fine.
Is this the biggest size tire that will fit on stock height?
No, you can have Wider, i saw 305/70/16R - same diameter 830mm ( 415 mm radius ) / same like 285/75/16R
What air pressure you running?
What's the back spacing on the wheels?
Does it have blocks in the rear
What width are the wheels
Parker Hopkins 8”
What kind of rims are those?
Not talking shit or anything like that but have you ever seen a block of wood explode when used with a jack? It's all bad..
I can honestly say I haven’t
what are the tires and rims? Waiting to put 33s on my stock 98 OBS chevy k1500
Did you watch the video
@@Outdoors-ty8hp i did but then fully didnt understand it. I was told if i did 33s you'd have to do some cuts and then i was told you dont have to cut
S6d 285/75/16 Goodyear duratrac pro comp steel wheels 8 wide
@@Outdoors-ty8hp thanks. These would fit k1500 stock rims?
