    The absolute best wire wrap tutorial I've seen yet, and I've seen them all. You give much detail in everything you do. I didn't know you had a Facebook account and so glad I found it. You all are so adorable.

    The best tutorial I have seen! At the beginning, you just said I'm using a higher gauge wire, what gauge are you using? Also, my designs are getting more and more beautiful and I am regretting using the chain links I buy at Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Should I be using sterling? What is the best chain to use? Could you talk about tarnishing?

    Excellent presentation. What gauge wire are you using for this project, also, is it 1/2 hard, or dead soft? You are bookmarked, so I will be back again, and again. Great job on the closeup shots.

      Aloha! We typically use 22 or 24 gauge half hard wire for the bulk of our wire wrapping with pearls, gemstones and glass from 4 - 10mm! I think Jason is using 22 g in the video! Have fun and thanks for watching!!! A hui hou! jamie

    wonderful way of explaining it! Love that you have a board showing all the different size wires. Dis you measure the wire 1st for the wrist; and what gauge wire are you using? Maybe you said it but didn't catch it

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Cooky! To basic wire wrap a bracelet with about 13 beads, you can approximately start with 5ft. of wire. We use different gauges depending on the hole size, and 22g and 24g half hard are our top two best sellers!! Email me directly at info@thebeadgallery.com if you need specific info or supplies :) Happy to help! Aloha! jamie

    I love your tutorials , very simple and easy to understand, I do have a question how do you measure with your thumb? I am never able to make my links the same size..thank you

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I find a place from the tip of my thumb to one of the creases, that equals about 1/2', or whatever length I need, and use that as a handy gauge! Now you don't need a ruler! Aloha!! Jamie

    What size of wire didd you use please?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  ปีที่แล้ว

      22 gauge for the most part is what we use on 8mm beads, unless the hole is small, so we use 24 gauge. aloha! jamie

    Where you get that second part of pliers you showed. The tips are very small. The round nose pliers. Those are small.

    What gauge were you using?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We tend to use 22 or 24 gauge half hard wire for most of our wire wrapped projects! I put links in the description, and thank you for asking!! Aloha!

    What is the wire; sterling silver?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we usually work with sterlign silver or gold-filled wire! We love the longevity and the feel :)
