YOU! are amazing! I am a man that's very new to wire art and I am very interested. You are such a great instructor, thorough and very Clear. I feel confident that I can make a hook and clasp now. I can't wait to watch this video again and follow along with you with the materials in hand. I appreciate you taking the time to make this video. Thank you. I had to subscribe. I loved how you do these, this would be so much easier for those of us getting older and may have issues with those tiny little clasp’s that can be so hard to hold on to that tiny little spring back to close your necklace. Thank you for this.
Thank you very much for this extremely useful tutorial. I love the way you present the class. I can't praise you enough about how you don't talk about unnecessary stuff. I love how you explain how to hold the tools. You are an excellent teacher. I've never done any wire work, but I am collecting the tools 🔧. I'm waiting for some wire to be delivered & I'll be ordering a hammer. I already have an anvil. I can't wait to start working on this new hobby. I'm a quilter and I'm already thinking of ways to incorporate wire charms into my wall quilts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You explain so well...especially the little things, like holding the wire at the very end of your finger before forming the small loop [3:02 + 4:09]. Little tips like that can make all the difference. I come from a teaching family and also got my teaching certification in graduate school, so I know good instruction when I see it! Consider yourself Bookmarked. :-)
Great video. I stumbled across this looking for something else and learned a lot of new tricks. I especially like the way you attached the leather cord. Thank you for the great tutorial!
Great teach, thanks. This really helped me with some mechanics I was having trouble working through on my own. I appreciate your willingness to teach newbies as we get started in a very wonderful field of jewelry wrapping. Best wishes and blessings!
I keep coming back for a refresher. This is the best tutorial of its type. The filed edges make all the difference to the professionalism of the end product. Thanks
Thank u so much for yr tutorial it is so simple to follow. Im a jewelry maker & ive pinned this tutorial on my pinterest jewelry board to always have to go bk to & make these closures when needed. Thanks for sharing it has made my jewelry so much for professional looking!!
All these years I’ve been making copper wire jewelry and watched many videos on the easiest way to make clasp and haven’t received the results I was looking for until now … Thank you 🙏🏾
Great. I followed the lesson and managed to make a clasp and attach to the leather cord from the first attempt. Thank you very much for clear instructions and professional demonstration. I will use it with my glass pendant which I also made during fused glass workshop some time ago.
I thoroughly enjoyed this very professionally made tutorial! Thanks! After viewing this and several other videos you have made a new fan and purchaser of your product(s) for as long as I can work on jewelry!
Me gustan mucho sus tutoriales, soy principiante y los entiendo muy bien, ya los estoy practicando, muchas gracias, un saludo desde Honduras y muchas gracias de nuevo.
I very much enjoy this class as it cleared up so many questions I had concerning attaching wire to various medias. You are terrific at the pace you speak and the thoughtfulness with your explanations. I will be looking forward to another class with you. Thanks very much.
Its an art what you do, i make my own fishing spinners and making the top loop i found the hardest, not now. Watching you putting a loop into a loop got me sorted with just the one. Thank you. ps it amazes me the way you bend wire into such beautiful things, as mentioned it is an art.

Thank you for your wonderful technique. I can't wait to make my own. I tried to use some nice looking clasps that I bought (on sale!) and when I tried to close the loop a little for security...it just snapped off! Grrrrr! It looked like pot-metal. cheap! Every one was the same. So I will be making my own thanks to you!

Absolutely brilliant! Tutorial video very easy to understand and very detail as it should. I have the materials and now going to make it a project to learn for the week. Thank you!
Thank you for the great video. How much weight can the coiled ends on the leather take before they slip off, please? I have some rather heavy stones that I would like to use this technique with. Would a little glue help?
Here in 2022 and you just made life a little bit easier. I am easing into wire jewelry and this video was heaven sent! Thank you 🙏🏾

Does this works on a flat leather cord
It could. It would likely work best if you kinda bent over the flat leather to have it better fit in the coil
