    Suggestion: I didn’t have a rap-n-tap and was struggling to make my wire round at the size I wanted. Instead I made the initial wrap around the mandrel a few sizes SMALLER than my size and then slid it up to my size to fit. Worked great.
    Love this! Just made it for the first time, with 4 Picasso rondelles and gold wire. Very pretty.

    This style is very popular right now and can be found in many jewelry catalogs at a high price. This method of ring making dates to ancient Egypt. If you have any scarab beads use one to make an authentic looking ring.

    Nice tutorial that can be applied to earrings, pendants and bracelets as well! The only thing is trimming on the underside can lead to scratching the client and loosening of the wire over time, I find it's best practice to trim on top and tuck into the existing work. Still hides the ends and is much more secure. Thanks again for sharing!

    I have a good amount of seed beads so I think I will be trying this ring with some red white and blue seed beads :) The only thing is, I don't have a ring mandrel, I don't have 2 different size wires and I only have 2 different pliers. I think I can make it work tho using a glue stick and some floral wire... Loved this video!!

    Just discovered JTV today and my daughter is ordering things from you for my Christmas gift! I really appreciate your tutorials as they are very easy to follow. You don't skip anything!!! I do have a question - you said you always wrap up over the cut end of the wire. Does that mean you wrap over the loop? I didn't see that in the video. (Bad eyes!) Thanks again!

    • @JewelSchool
      @JewelSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Melissa! So glad your are enjoying the videos! When Susan says to wrap the wire over the cut end of the wire, she is referring to the piece that is cut and looped inward. Because that cut is so hard to file, the wrapped wire is a great way to hide it.
