Loretta Lynn is hands down, one of Country Music's most talented and humble country singer. She knows what its like to have nothing, yet to still be very happy! She's probably my favorite country singer! I just love her! Even though she's very famous, she's such a selfless person that thinks of others before herself. I've seen the movie "Coal Miners Daughter" and it is such a great movie! It tells a wonderful love story! It also tells a sad tale of what growing up poor in Butcher Hollar was like.

@@whendis.roberts9903Loretta Lynn and Doolittle Lynn married at a time when a couple took vows and honored them. Loretta would be the first to say that Doolittle "never hit her once when she didn't hit him twice". Obviously putting your hands on someone in anger is a disgusting thing, and his affairs were incredibly lame and embarrassing for Loretta, but I understand the way they loved each other, through it all. My grandparents were the same way. I don't advocate for a woman OR man to stay in a relationship where they are being abused, but I do understand the love Doo and Loretta shared. I love her blunt honesty. Grew up a poor country girl and at one point had to pump our water . There were seven children and we did laundry by hand or used a stool plunger and a bucket and hung our clothes to dry. In the winter we'd bring the jeans in and they'd stand up by themselves until they thawed out then we'd hang them around the house so they could finish drying . We too only got one pair of shoes each year so coal miners daughter hit close to home. Loved sitting around with family watching her on the Grand old Opry. After we picked, plowed, planted and watered the garden and fed the hogs. Everyone said my mother looked just like her. She'd make jokes about if only she could sing like her. I too am connected to my children and know when something is not right with them. I physically felt the pain when my two least had a wreck. I was at work and felt a somethings wrong sensation and my wrist hurt real bad. I started freaking out saying I had to leave something is wrong with my children. Coworkers thought I was nuts there hadn't even been a phone call received. They said they really needed me to stay and I told them I will quit or they can let me go. I rushed home to find my two least not home and as I ran back out the front door to go look for them they pulled up. They had both been in a car wreck in different vehicles with each other. They refused to go by ambulance to the hospital so I took them my youngest son's wrist was hurt and had bleeding from his liver and my daughter had hit her head and busted out the back glass and took a gear shift to the stomach. His car went under her truck as he had popped a hill she was stopped making a turn. Don't really understand it myself but I know what I experienced. Crazy stuff. I too have seen black shadows following me. It scared me to death and I hope I never see another one. I found out later my grandma experienced dark shadows or clouds before someone died in our family. The first time I seen one, my uncle had passed that night, the next two there were no deaths following. I prayed I would never see another one and continue to pray that. I don't understand any of that I just know I don't want to experience it ever again. Wish I could post a picture of mom on here.

No+ As a little girl living in the country I recall listening to my second great grandmother radio that only played 3 stations and on one of those stations would be Loretta Lynn singing her music which bought comfort to the woman I called my mama that was really my grandmother Loretta Lynn music also comfort my little ears along with the other 2 station music 🎤 and yes I am a woman of color and learned at a young age, to appreciate music that told a story: therefore on my pandora I have country music, and my blues, 🎷 and jazz, to me, personally its how you view life. Hi Loretta, I really enjoyed seeing, your kids parents etc. I House you were born reminds me so much of childhood day. my Parents made about 12 cents per day, but were contended -.I had four sisters, and I am the only son - no spoil lol. I am living in Canada for 48 years; i have one daughter and one son, I studied and got the required qualifications to enter Teachers' Training College where I studied for two years. I graduated at the head of 185 students. After I finished my contract with the government, we migrated to Canada - I forgot - I came from British Guyana' in South America I studied very hard without any help from anyone -I have two degrees and worked my way up to become the assistant director of A Large Computer Centre. I followed your who career t stardom, You husband really worked hard with you - because your voice was blessed and knew that you would be the greatest Country Singer. You are a very simple person and has a personality to attract others. My heart goes out to you for losing a child. GOD Bless you - do not change. Love and respect neville sukul.

#1 I just found out of Loretta Lynns passing by watching this video ~ she was and will remain a great favorite country singer and songwriter of mine for always ❤️💯💐 I'm so saddened by her passing but she did have a great long life & by the way she smiles and shares a little bit of her life experience on this video, it's plain to see it's not an act,, she was always a real & down to earth, blessed lady! I just can't believe she's gone! But I guess as a fan, you tend to think they'll always be around!! 🕊️🦋🤔😢🕊️ But our heroes and heroines are people too! And that dreadful day will come eventually, So the best we can do is keep their family in prayer 🙏's and keep listening to their music 🎶💕 oh and I saw this same video about the haunted house some years ago and I just loved her outlook on the ghosts there and how accepting she was about it all !! As I am a paranormal investigator ( which is why I was watching the show besides the fact that it was Loretta Lynns story !!❤️) 😍🎤🎸🎬💐🌹🌿💐🌷🌱 What a lovely, beautiful, inside and out person Loretta Lynn was! And will always be remembered as !!! God bless her beautiful spirit and please keep her lovely family wrapped up in your comforting ways.,. Love from So.California and now in New Mexico 🌵🏜️ 💕 always with love and respect.... May she rest in peace " Coal Miners Daughter".....

+Baby Bunch i can say that i know Earnest is still a drunk and living off of his mom.I went to the show at the State Fair in Atlanta,Ga. about 4 or 5 years ago and though he was playing in her band as he does today, she made a quip during the show about him been drinking and people started to laugh thinking it was just part of the show but afterwards the people who had vip passes, like myself, got to meet her.She didn't actually "meet" us,she stayed on the bus and we were told she would sign one item.I understood because Loretta was already like 78 or 79yo and we could tell by the end of the show she was very tired.Peggy and Patsy were the ones getting the one item from us to sign and wrote our names on a sticky note and placed it on the item so Loretta could personalize it to us.Well, while waiting to get closer to the front to give my Loretta discography collection(the one that has her face on the front and is gray) Earnest came stumbling past us with some "thirsty" floozy on each arm and we heard Loretta yell at him as he came off the bus that if he ain't back within the hour this bus leaves without him.He mumbled something about just wanting a drink. As he walked passed us with those floozy's,he absolutely reeked of whiskey.I don't know if you know but when i call them "thirsty floozy's" it means thirsty to get close to a celebrity and will do anything or anyone to get what they want.

Her son that died, Jack, was said to have been awakened by a confederate ghost pulling on his boots, trying to pull him out of bed. What the ghost was trying to do is steal his boots because the Confederates were very poorly equipped and often had to wrap their bare feet in rags after their own boots wore out, therefore when they came across a dead soldier they would remove the boots and keep them.I think the dose that came across him laying prone in the bed with his boots someone made them think that he was dead there for not using his boots so they were trying to remove them.

Get well Loretta , SO many are praying for you !
I remember this from years ago when first aired . Loretta just Laugh's and accepted them as a presence she wasn't going to be afraid of !
A beautiful person , a true shadow of my years growing up .
Rip dew ! YOUR MISSED TO 😇
When we die we leave All our memories behind it says in Bible . But near Death experience's they say they see they're loved ones in heaven an its different kind of love a peace unknown . Idk I just know I hope my husband and daughter know me whenever I arrive one day .

my dad met her in the marines back in the 80's and she took him and his buddies into her trailer when she was on tour and treated them like family.
