Chris man, I have to say I really enjoy your channel, BUT I also have to say that I’m so appreciative that you willingly give your advice and don’t try to keep any “secrets”. Keep it up man, I truly love your channel!
Awesome tips! Also don't forget to quarantine your new boas far from all your pythons for at least a year I'd do 1.5-2 years I'm sure if your looking into getting some boas your familiar with IBD but just wanted to throw that out there, just lookin out (:
Tip number 3 and 4 were question really needed answer. I was gonna do a 1 to 3 ratio. What do you do if they continue to fight and the water doesnt work?
Great video man.... Here in Reno NV we have some of the temperature issues when it's super hot or super cold I do have to say it's like a total of 4 months of the extreme temps bit pretty stable through most of the year right now teens to low 20s at night and mid 40-50 during the days and my expansion is doing ok just more space more problems with control..but nothing bad cause I'm always here at the facility but idk how well it would go on like a couple days without me here even with everything on themost and timers I seem to need to be here every day for the animals sake keeping 14x40 under control is way harder than the first facility at 11x19.... Lol wish I was only doing snakes and rodents...
That's one of the reasons I keep the snakes and rodents in my basement, it stays cold so I don't need AC on the low side and just use a space heater on a thermostat to dial it in.
So breeding question, what's your opinion on poultry breeding boxes for ball python eggs. I heard some say they work for ball python eggs and some say they do not.
How often do you wipe off your press and seal? I see other videos on incubation, but I don’t think anyone has said if they maybe change it out every week, 2 weeks, etc.
Chris, I just paired my snakes up for the first time a few days ago and the day after my male went into shed. Do I just leave him with her for his shed or should I separate?
Is breeding two snake with multiple Gene's, in both snakes, both containing spider, the same as breeding two ordinary spiders? Out of curiosity. I asked a breeder but he wasnt sure, so I purchased the other female to avoid the spider complex, but I am still curious if it would have been a problem?
Thats kinda what I figured, so I got the other girl. Dont need that on my mind. Hoping to lock up a Mojave Firebee with a Postave next season. Plus a Lesser Spotnose Fire Enchi OD male, (Nuclear OD SP?) I think.. Lol.. to a Leopard female. Thanks, Mr Hardwick.
My main issue has been that I bought 4 adults from a breeder and they had been eating live. Now I'm trying to get them onto frozen thawed. So far they strike the rat but dont coil and they don't eat it if i leave it in there with them.
Chris Hardwick oh I see. I’m a fairly new snake owner. I’ve been owning snakes for 2 years and soon my snakes will be ready to breed so I’m trying to get as much information as possible. I appreciate your videos and I watch you everyday. Thank you.
Hey Chris I've been watching your vids for a good while now really have seen you progress. Anyway I just started my own ball python channel and YOU were a huge motivator in me going for it, if you would be kind enough to check out my channel I droped a video today😊. Thank you chris il be buying merch here soon! I really hope to see you in a coment some day! Again thank you!
You forgot to add one thing there . Do NOT feed a female a large ratthen put a male in her enclosure to breed . LOL it smelled gross . I shouldve waited 3 days

Tip number 3 and 4 were question really needed answer. I was gonna do a 1 to 3 ratio. What do you do if they continue to fight and the water doesnt work?
I've never had them continually fight before, just a little sparring at first.

I usually change it or wipe it down every 2-3 weeks.
What's your favourite gene Chris?
Bamboo!
Chris, I just paired my snakes up for the first time a few days ago and the day after my male went into shed. Do I just leave him with her for his shed or should I separate?
You can leave him in to shed, just make sure you leave him in a few days after the shed too.
Sounds good! They locked tails within 3 hours of being together and have been everyday for 4 days so hopefully he’ll shed out and get back to it!
Bobby is so funny. I just try and get my rodents fed! lol only one left over last week. Feeding is a day long event

Yes, doesn't matter what other genes are in there, if they both have Spider don't breed them together.

I love ur videos
I know this one is old but is it ok to breed a male who is older then the female
Yes, that's fine.
Ok thank you so much
Are you breeding Bobby this year I really want to get a couple of hatchlings from you :)
I"m breeding Bobby's babies, he is about to be a grandpa!
My snakes eat in the morning, afternoon or night
I feed mij ballpythons late in de morning and the always eat. The are used to it.
This is why I have so many males lol i didnt realize i could do a male to multiple females ughh
My ball pythons eat in morning better sometimes
Top three?
Oh so you have to leave the male snake with the female snake for 3 days?
Usually at least three days.

Hello Bobby is your pet human treating you well.
Ive been pairing since early September she is getting really big in the back half she didn't eat this week ... How long do females ovulate?
Usually just a few days.
Question, how many genes do you work with, I have 9 different genes in my collection so far...😂
I'd have to sit down and count them all LOL
Have u ever had dreamed of snakes?
No, but I've had nightmares of rats getting out and running around the house LOL
