  • This campaign revolves around two A-10C stolen by the Russians, and is used for testing, evaluation, and later in combat. Originally made for Russian local language, but is subtitled for English. This is a trimmed playthrough, and will only show key events, mission dialogues, aircraft systems setups, and particular tasks for the missions.
Same thing, different weapon; yet another simple target range mission, this time using rockets. Since each pod carries 7 rockets, I configured a ripple single of 7 to better keep track of remaining munitions. My second pass is an example of rocket dispersion when fired from shallow angle and outside 1 nmi; the last pass is better showcase of steep angle shots within 1 nmi. Also note that LASTE wind data will affect your rocket accuracy as well.
    Some tips for this mission:
    - Use ripple to compensate rocket dispersion (SGL/PRS is fine)
    - As with bombs, steeper dive angle is more precise
    - If possible, fire rockets within 1 nautical mile (1 nmi)
As with every other mission, I'm running the CDU Wind Briefing mod:

DCS isn't great when it comes to blast damage modelling, so you'll have to hit dead on target. With the inherent inaccuracy of rockets it can be quite RNG. Which is why I'm really looking forward to the AGR-20s on the A-10C II

When i am playing this mission i cannot spot the planes. I play with max trees and they are completely hidden.

Might have to do with the reworked Caucasus map, probably added trees and the old missions/campaigns weren't updated to reflect. Which is unfortunately so your only choice is to open mission editor and move them out :/
