Thanks for another WONDERFUL training blog on INAV! Now that I have watched it, I'm amazed how intuitive it really is in ver 2.5! A huge thank to you and to Pavel & co-developers for doing many hours (days, months) of programming to produce a product that is straightforward to use and lacking the tedious details and computerspeak that dominated earlier generations of most applications. I've got a Matek F765-WING flight controller on its way to me, so I can't wait to dive in and begin this new field. - Jim
Well, after all this, mission planning is almost a let-down. It's just too straight forward. lol Thank you again for you outstanding video collection and hard won knowledge. In every area there seem to be a guru that just bubbles to the top. You are that guru in the modern FPV quad/fixed wing field. Cheers!
Really, really interesting!!! Thanks a lot, Lee! 😃 As soon as I can I'm going to do a few missions at my parent's farm. 😬 BTW, something I've been thinking about is to build a "rover" using rc crawler parts, or some other way, I don't know yet... To do missions as well! It should be pretty interesting! 😃 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
thousand Thanks !!!, thank you, now I almost finishing my first test mission , and I m using the last INAV 3.0.1 MIssion planner configurator, BUT, I couldnt find that checkbox "RTH when mission is finish" (or something like that), for when the plane has finished the mission then return home automatically , where is that checkbox now in INAV 3.0 ? or should I just programmed it in another tab? , thank you and waiting for your answer , greetings !!!!
Not sure, I've not tried missions in INAV 3.01 - yet! If you select the last waypoint and look at the left hand side then you'll see a green plus at the bottom - click it and select RTH instead of JUMP.
Thank you for all your video's Lee. The iNav series have inspired me to have a go. As a first dip into autonomous flight, would you recommend the Tyro129? Or is there another low cost option?
Hello, There is a thing which I wonder about. I wanna ask it. I've arranged the mission planner on inav card of Matek f765wing and I want that the aircraft can come back by passing 8 points. I've learned how I can do it by watching your video. However, I want to do some extra missions. For example, I want to activate one of the servos to open cargo doors when aircraft is the fifth point. Briefly, at mission planner, how can we activate a servo at a point we want? I am looking forward your respone. Thank you for understanding and helping.
Wait... Save mission to FC and then Save Eeprom mission? What's the difference? Also, don't they have a satellite view in the mission control tab? I would like to set up a mission in a very large field that's away from roads (safest way to start out). Yet, I can't tell where exactly to put the WP's because I don't have and ground references.
I'd expect you need to have the same channel positions (Low, high etc) but mapped to your Mode1 radio and make sure you have enough travel on the controls.. Best of luck..
Love how you always include a holiday theme in your intros! Thank you!

I have the F405 wing flashed with Inav and will be installing it in a Bixler 2. Your Inav tutorials are very helpful
Thank you so much, this helps enormously. Powels and your contribution to this part of the hobby is priceless, thanks.

Cheers Painless. Another hobby to get into!
Love your videos, thanks for all you do
Great Lee. Have you looked at the iNav GSM options?

@@Painless360 yes I got it, and now has saved to eeprom , and today , lets test it. thank you !!! many thanks !! regards
Cool, was wondering how way points worked. I just hover tested my iNav Multirotor. So have a bit to go before I try way points. Happy flying. 🤓
Thank you for all your video's Lee. The iNav series have inspired me to have a go. As a first dip into autonomous flight, would you recommend the Tyro129? Or is there another low cost option?
That would be a cheap way to try it out. Always check that any kit includes the compass that you néed in INAV for a multirotor... Happy flying
The Tyro129 needs a different GPS module. The standard one doesn’t have a compass
Yes I ordered the BN880 too..
thank you, how do i load mission using sticks in mode 1?
I was a little confused about the nav_wp_safe_distance value. Are the units still in cm? Would that make the value to set 100000 for 1km?
Yes. If you are not sure what something means then the INAV wiki is always a good option to look it up. Best of luck

If you want more than basic point to point missions then look at Ardupilot at the moment.. Best of luck
You are the best. Thank you
how to do this to have waypoints on the screen?
How do I clear navigation points(vector) in EEPROM?
If you mean the EagleTree Vector then check out my series on that... Best of luck!
thank you for your great videos
Great information
Do you know anything about future development for Fixed Wing autoland?
All of that detail is in Github. See my video on how to use it to see if the latest is.. Best of luck
Great video, I hope you do one on Inav mission planner telemetry during flight with crossfire/mavlink
Already have. See my BrainDART build....
Thx Lee. I will try it with my AR wing .
Can a new mission or updated waypoints loaded/updated during flight?
Also, up to 9 missions can now be stored on the flight controller.
Thanks for posting. Lots changed in 4.0 re missions.
Do you know if waypoint's altitude is AGL or MSL?
You can choose th-cam.com/video/J6UBai-OIYQ/w-d-xo.html
Hello there! looking for info about inav camera trigger for planned mission, do you know if its possible and how i can find info about it?
Check out the video in the Big boys toys playlist. Camera triggers tend to be very specific to the camera your using..
@@Painless360 thank you ill go watch it right now
when i loaded wp on the ground.. it said that unable to arm since first waypoint too far.... how to solve this?
I just starting to learn missions. I'm using INAV 4.1. Is it ok to use load_wp_boot ?
Yeah, remember how to unload it using the sticks in case it stops you arming... Happy flying

Saving to FC gets erased at power down. Saving to eeprom remains stored even after power down.
how can i use this OSD ?
@Lurgy1 could of done with this a few weeks ago . Great stuff as always Painless
It's been in the playlist for a while. He can always ask :), Happy flying
Is there a way to remove mission stored on eeprom?
Yes, save another over the top... Happy flying
Note as of October 21 / inav 4.0, it now shows a message when a mission now successfully loaded.
INAV 4.0 was officially released a few days ago. See the note on it in the community tab... Happy flying
nice one
Hi what about mode1 tx. I cant upload the mission. 😢. Can u help
Plz

@@Painless360 thanks I will try that
Sir is there any rock solid stable fc??
It depends how well you set up your model and flight controller. ;) see my flight controller comparison videos...
Why do I have no mission control in inav like u do
No idea. What version?
