    Hey there Lift Vector. I just came across your video and I really like what you did and are doing. My only disappointment was was when I did a search for more of your videos,,,,I found none. I hope you are okay and will be putting up more content in the near future. Your style is appreciated. Hope to see more from you soon.

    Great INAV waypoint demo. Nice looking and flying build too.
    The multiple camera angles made it real easy to follow along and understand flight progress, and how you were using INAV and the transmitter to control the flight.

    Bro. Nice. I have (3) F411se. Been waiting for new hobby room. I tried one. I couldn't figure out inav completely. The modes...... I'm glad you pushed thru and figured it out. It is hard. Harder than no FC. I want mine for way points and long range. My video loss has cost me planes in past. I wanted the security for loss of video. If you like wings....I think you would like a plank.... Goblin strix style. Anyway great video. Good editing. Loads of cams. 5 split was cool too. Look forward to more.

    Spear was my first INAV\FC build too. Great platform to learn the software before moving to bigger more expensive planes. I ditched the winglets and used the full sized center stabilizers. Way more locked in. Give it a try.

    Loving it! Keep in mind that there may be interaction between the tips of the prop and the frame. You may be able to gain some performance or duration by removing that factor. In my prior "combat wing" style plane, the motor was set back further.

    • @LiftVector
      @LiftVector  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yes the prop tips are just a few millimeters from the inner wing edge. I wonder if making small notches in the wing to at least improve flow a bit would help. I will say she has impressive flight time with this 3200 mah.

    Hi how can we switch from autolaunch to angle mode?
    I am new in RC
    I bought kit plane then install inav
    I hope I can have an option to directly change from manual mode to automatcly rolling arround in a specific altitude if my plane gonna crash

    • @LiftVector
      @LiftVector  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Autolaunch will time-out and switch to whatever mode your switch is on. In the modes tab you can assign a switch to things like angle, manual and acro. I have a switch for this and use that to bounce around those modes.
      You could also set a switch for loiter or RTH if you feel like you might crash. But angle might be better for a saving moment so you can still have control if there are trees or obstacles around. Look up INAV modes on TH-cam, you will find plenty of videos.

      @@egtreadway4232 I suppose that is part of the thrill when you get your craft back in one piece. Check elevation graphs in the mission planner and always be sure to set your RTH settings correctly if you do end up going behind a ridge and triggering failsafe. Good luck!

    • @LiftVector
      @LiftVector  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I had seen a video a few years back about using copper tape to shield the GPS wires from EMI. This was for tight quad builds and I honestly don't know if it makes a difference here. It is supposed to improve sat lock and consistency. I do have a quad from iFlight (Chimera7 Pro) and the GPS wire is wrapped in shielding. Hope this helps, I doubt you need it unless you are getting major EMI issues.

    Sure be nice to fly with you. Did you have enought battery to do the course twice? I'm curious as I have read that RTH in Inav6 will follow the course you took instead of flying through the object you flew around to get there and did you set those waypoints from home on the pc then go to the field to fly them? Was curious as to how close rc gps to google gps is all. Nice job. Wish my son's would fly rc but it always seems like its somebody elses sons. Watched Flitetest alot in there early days and recognised your plane right away. Pretty close to finshing up my Eplison Helix just soldering up all the connections. I love your video bro. It's nice, you narrate the flight, you've got all the camera angels, Tx view, way point view, Etc. When are you going to go digital tho ? Good job and thank you...... One big question tho - i have the same antenna on the Tx, why are you NOT running it verticle ? Are you not running the antenna on the platform in a vertical position ? (EDIT) I see you have platform antenna in a horizontal position also... I've always had much better range with vertically placed antennas..

    • @LiftVector
      @LiftVector  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks man! I just can't afford moving into digital at the moment, one day I'll get into it and I can't wait to try.
      I built another Spear and mounted the antenna vertically (look at my other vids). Although I've never had issues, even 3-4 miles out in horizontal config, I do get less telemetry drops in vertical.
      All my quads have horizontal Crossfire antennas and when I built this wing I just went that way since I've never had issues with range. But yea, vertical now for my wing builds.
