Casio G-7710 one of the best G-Shocks

This video is about buying an used G shock, with huge risk of being damaged. With the reputation of Casio I have bought this cheap watch and tried to restore it as good as I could.
Beside the presented features I can mention also the clasped days from current year and the remaining days. There is also a cool feature like the 5 seconds preparation before stopwatch starts. The flashes are great and accompanies the signal very well.

Have one of these I bought new probably 25 years ago, still going strong and in my opinion one of the best Gshocks and doesn’t get enough love !

Well.. It maybe a decade or so old, so Not quite a vintage watch.
I’ve 7700 which I bought for $80 (new) recently and I love it.
I gave a serious consideration to 7710 since it’s cooler, but my unpleasant experience with Casio’s negative displays made me go far 7700.
I may end up buying a 7710 too in future !
Also, you mentioned AW-950. Did you mean AW-590 ? Ive 590 (and also 500) with similar dimensions as 7700/7710.

In regards negative display, it might be cooler, but as it gets old, the scratches becomes more visible compared to a normal display. and yes i wanted to say aw590 and 591…
