From minute 10 towards 14 the watch is opened and the main issue in regards not working display is presented. If some of you know how to fix this issue, please let me know!

I have one just like yours, but I'm confused, Casio were originally from Japan Right? My Casio AE1500 says on the back "Made in China" so i dont know if this original or Fake 😅

Well.. It maybe a decade or so old, so Not quite a vintage watch. I’ve 7700 which I bought for $80 (new) recently and I love it. I gave a serious consideration to 7710 since it’s cooler, but my unpleasant experience with Casio’s negative displays made me go far 7700. I may end up buying a 7710 too in future ! Also, you mentioned AW-950. Did you mean AW-590 ? Ive 590 (and also 500) with similar dimensions as 7700/7710.

It's a shame he doesn't put on a two-tone black and silver metal bracelet that compliments its stainless steel and black watch!

Link to buy original strap?

If the band pulls your hair, try putting a piece of clear packing tape or even duct tape on the bottom and cut off the extra. It fills in the gaps so it doesn't grab hair as much. I had an old watch that was unwearable until I did that. You will have to change it after a while but it worked in my case.

Is the bracelet the same as on the A168?

I wore this watch through high school when the poor strap design with the holes became obvious, as it snapped on that weak spot. Of course in that time there was no easy way to order a new strap in my part of the world, and it would also cost more than the watch itself. Always the same story with Casio and their custom watch straps.

I actually like my Casio watch very much, I'm not sure of the model but it's got all the doodads and gizmos and compass it's been very reliable and consistent little bulky though. The only one I liked more was a Coleman which I think was a rebrand of something else, I wore that thing until the display faded. I also have a Timex which is smaller and I do like it a lot the back light is different but it has the start split button on the face which also changes the time zone and I find it gets bumped a lot even though it's a smaller watch it's a nice size. Apart from that button I thought about getting a different model of the same size without the button on the face. I like to wear 2 watches it balances the arms, Plus I find whenever I want to know the time it's always the hand that's carrying something that my watch is on that day.

Great watch. He's been through a lot :) Four screws around the display are not fake. You could unscrew them, remove the bezel and clean the case. Crystal is mineral (not acrilic), heavy scratches = sand(?)

Is the case resin or metal? The new ones are resin.

You should replace the broken rubber gasket, to keep out water entering inside the watch bro

Nice rare find, love the colors! The watch came out after 1994 as someone have allready mentioned it in the comment section. Some advice for cleaning/servicing : first you should remove the straps, open the watchcase to check the caseback seal, close it back, and only immerse the watch in water if the seal is OK. Otherwise you can clean it with a dry/semi-wet microfiber cloth or papertowel. Its was a 100m watch so maybe it has independent little rubber rings for each pushers, which still retains some basic waterresistance for the watch after these years. If the caseback seal (o-ring) is OK, you can grease it up and the watch is ready to go. Btw it is possible that this watch module is interchangeable with the a168/f105 modules.

Old casio are so nice, and was in metal not resine just like now,for this today i still buying casio but in metal with reissue.in30 years tHey will work again.my old casio blue thunder with fabulous carrousel still work and i buy it in 1981
