About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, an author and former country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River (who we lost when he was 3yrs old) and Maverick.
Congratulations on your new adventure, I want to share one of my God moments, my youngest son passed away 5years ago and I have been dying a slow death, dropped to 100 lbs and still tried to live but my heart was so broken, then one night as I was going to bed I briefly looked at the only picture that was still up on the wall when he was 5 , and I heard the Lord say “ THAT ,was a different life” and then I felt like a shift in my body is the only way I can explain it! And it changed me! He passed at 38 leaving 4children which I hardly ever got to see which made my pain worse, but now God also changed my daughter in law cuz she now is letting me be a part of their lives! I have gained back 20 lbs, and don’t cry constantly,Thanks to my dear Lord, thanks for listening!
Such a beautiful story.. thank God your mind and heart were open enough to recognize that message from God that nite..🙏🌈❤️and that you get to be a part of your grandchildren's lives!!! I'm truly sorry about this loss of your son, but I'm so happy you have found some peace in your grief process and that your grandchildren are part of your life!!!❤❤❤

Woohoo! A signed book contract. Been waiting for this. Can't wait for the final product. We've heard a lot from Granger's side of this. Now we get to hear more from you. I know this is going to change lives. Always enjoy some fun Maverick content. As for the young lady you encountered, I was encouraged to hear you say that your heart hurt for her. Too many times, we hear people talk about their disgust, anger, or frustration during those types of encounters, but as you said, this is a person who doesn't understand herself in relation to her Creator. Let's all continue to pray for enlightenment with regards to how we serve God and His purpose, and may we do our best to be His light in the world. Great video. Thank you!

Even in a horrible tragedy that most can't imagine God brings beauty and joy. When a family looses someone this close it leaves you with two options, it makes you or breaks you. In your families case, it took you to a sad low but in return it brought you guys out of glory to self and into the Glory Of God. Your family is an Amazing Blessing and it would be a honor to have you guys as friends because of your love for Jesus.
God bless you and family I no it hard I lost a son in a car accident 27 years ago and I still think about him and his wife and baby that did not get to come in the world yet they all died in the accident and I just think what that baby girl would be today so I been there god bless you 🙏🏻

🇦🇺When my son was one my husband went to the dump shop and bought Brocken play equipment. He welded together 6 different types of swing sets, painted them and a slide. For his second birthday we bought a trampoline. From breakfast to teatime he loved being outside. He was definitely a child that done everything at 100 miles an hour.

Five minutes of this video and I'm already starting to cry with enjoy. Through Amber's eyes which is gonna be awesome and filled with LOVE, I can't wait to read this book because I know it's going to be a blessing to me to open my eyes more . Also I'm curious to see how the Holy Spirit moved in Amber's life and seen the difference from Granger side. If I can pre-order it now I would because I know it's going to be filled with love.
This is great, All the boys and All the men, It seems like we are all the same God created us to explore and have avengers. Women are so different then us. I agree that we need to start praying and for the next generations and to the believers to be strong in the lord and not be afraid.

I have had to have this conversation with my kids also, I live in Washington state and my daughter has one more year before she has to see these said litter boxes. It’s extremely disturbing and so sad for you kids and there experiences.
Sooooo happy to hear about your book…I’m looking forward to reading it one day. River was such a special little guy…sooooo full of life and always pushing the limits. I loved him too, even though I only saw him in your videos after he passed. Ugh, I always get emotional because there are truly no words. Yes, God really worked in my own life through River and your families story, but that's not even the part that truly gets me. It's ALL of the lives that have been impacted and brought closer to God through Rivers story. It's God's plan, which is so much greater than our own. It's the domino effect, how every single thing, that happens impacts another in some way. How God uses every situation including the hard ones for good. I always say it, there are no words. I am so beyond excited for you and this book, and I will be praying. ❤️🙏

Congratulations 🎉! I'll be praying for you and your Word! Amber, I can't express it enough how you and Granger helped my husband and I through our grief. We lost our beautiful 1 yr old in 2021. Sawyer and my husband Coby were in horrible accident 8 days after Sawyer turned 1! I am so thankful and I give all glory to God what he has done for us. I know we couldn't have made it with out without God and seeing your and Granger journey and sharing your story. Gave us hope and reminds us that there is always light in Darkness. ❤ so thank you from the bottom of my heart😇🙏🙌!

I am sorry you are still hurting over River. I can’t imagine losing a child, but I will be looking forward to your book. I read Granger’s book & was moved to tears off & on through the whole book. Amber my heart hurts for you and your loss of River. I firmly believe that we all have things that we are to accomplish in this life. Some of us complete our purpose early and others take years.
