I enjoy the chicken videos. Have you ever thought about raising pheasants? We use to raise them. Similar to chicken eggs. They produce quite a bit. Fresh pheasant year round and hearing them crow in the mornings is so awesome.

We have 50 chickens we love them so much . I also let my boys have pet rats they were the best pets.

The kids were so excited seeing the new chickens. Maverick’s smile just warms your heart! It is so wonderful that the kids get to experience country life with the garden, exploring the outdoors, helping care for the chickens and goats, and helping Granger with other chores. I have a short hair English pointer named Remi also and he will do the same if he gets out the front door he's gone running the neighborhood and I have to jump in the truck to chase him down. Pointers are awesome dogs.

if you want eggs for your family get more of the isa brown chickens because they lay 300-350 eggs per year.
ISA Browns are laying machines, and most of ours layed x-large and jumbo eggs!❤ Ours were more gentle than the Orpingtons. 🐔

He would ride on my shoulder around the dorm and hide in my hair (long then). He'd poke out his head and scare people. Great pet. R I P Jeffrey at colorado state university.

Loved the video! It’s cute how Mavi can find a tractor anywhere! It was fun watching the kids pick out their chickens. And London has a new pet to love! Lincoln likes the chickens but I didn’t see him holding one yet! Amber, I used to have to clean out the chicken houses when I was a kid……many years ago! We had a chicken farm so we gathered and cleaned eggs to sell. Always enjoy the drone shots, Granger! ❤ Btw I found Like a River in our Christian book store here in Pella, Iowa.
