I think alot of players are selling modules cheap is due to the amount of weight they take up in your stash. It's great that we are going to be able to scrap them moving forward. We'll now have an extra chance to learn these new modes. Now maybe we need a way to scrap old unwanted plans for gold or something to free up stash room. We also need a place to store excess medical supplies like we have with the ammo box, seeing how many meds we now get during raids.

I’ve been playing for about a month now, and I have a hard time keeping caps. I don’t have many weapon plans or even mods and I haven’t even touched the raid. I’m so far behind and I feel like I’ll never catch up, especially now
As someone who still has never fully done the new raid, and who is level ~ 840, seeing how expensive these 4 star mods are in players vendors and how rare they are is carzy. I am willing to buy one for 15k caps like I have before, but I bought it when my caps were maxed out and i still felt like it was far too much, the base price for a 4 star is like 7k caps. Some people just wanna screw other players who dont have the time or people to gind out this stuff out. I would like to see some kind of regulation for the minimum and maximum you can sell certain items for, like 4 star mods can't be sold lower than their original value, but it can't be sold at 3x the price either, or somthng to that nature, or just raise the max cap limit to 50k or 75k caps.
I got a mule with hundreds of mods and growing lol but sadly I don't even need legendary modules at this point, gave out so many 1-3 stars mods meh with running raids you end up having a stupid amount of mods and 5k or so legendary modules it's stupid. I got all the rolls I need on most gear that I'd want since I have most of the legendary recipes unlocked.
i transfer items to my alt characters through the private server. all my alts are at the Whitesprings Railroad Station. i fast travel over there, put whatever i want to transfer into the blue suitcase, exit the server, change characters and re-enter the same private server. just be careful when going back in; don't spam the x button or you can accidentally enter the public server and lose your items. i don't have any friends i play with, so this is the method i use.
I would suggest to do this with a trusted friend into a public (but hidden) container, it is safer. A single accidental click or internet going down, and you lose your items.
You are insane if you think players can hold hundreds or thousands of mod for months and future update. With cost holding 2star and 3 star is better, even ones you can craft. I have dumped several hundred already in the nuka world box, Done over 600 raids trying to farm 2nd set rejuvinators on 2 characters and it is getting annoying. All the stuff i scrap i figured out there is a Lockout on learning the plans too. Im guessing its like 25 hour lockout or maybe 25 hours at a location.
Everyone has their own price range.. i think anything priced over 3k is a scam because you will be broke so fast doing that. Therefor i call them scams. I sell my stuff cheap so players can have a fun experience without burning a hole in their wallet and be broke within seconds
The amount of modules you need to craft anything is pretty crazy. Even to add 3 random legendaries cost 15 modules. For 3 random mods. Gross. Should be what the old system was imo 1 star = 1 module so on.
The comments give me hope. I’m high lv too (not grinded WT for years tho) and I already think mods prices are crazy. And I do need to spend my caps. Could you do a video on the fallout storyline so far of what's gonna be happening in the wasteland of Appalachia? I played since beta on PS4 stopped playing after the Cryptid events, just got back to catch up on the new nuke boss and raids.
I only sell mods I get from scrapping weapons if I don't already know the mod and don't craft boxes just to sell. My prices are probably seen as stupid cheap but that's mostly because I need to get rid of these mods, I don't really need the caps, I don't really need the scrip, so as far as I'm concerned I'm just trying to help a less fortunate player that stumbled into my camp. For example, if they still need to learn Mutant Slayer and want to spend 300 caps for it, so what? To me it's just taking up space and I likely won't see the caps or scrip anyway since I'm nearly always maxed out. If they turn around and sell it at their camp for 1000, good for them making a profit. As far as I'm concerned they earned the profit by the item taking up space in their warehouse instead of mine for a time. It works the same way in economy IRL. Now that mods are so easy to come by and customize, they have no value
Got some many box mods and I never need caps allway at max ,been selling 1 star 450 caps and 2 stars 500 just to get rid of them .all just mods I don't use, but saving all 3 and 4 stars

why would you not give them to lower levls players in stead if you dont need that caps give them away ????
I think alot of players are selling modules cheap is due to the amount of weight they take up in your stash.
It's great that we are going to be able to scrap them moving forward. We'll now have an extra chance to learn these new modes.
Now maybe we need a way to scrap old unwanted plans for gold or something to free up stash room.
We also need a place to store excess medical supplies like we have with the ammo box, seeing how many meds we now get during raids.
It's amazing (in a bad way)that Bethesda after so many years has never put a communal chest for all your characters So to encourage playing with more than one character, but nope first we're going to have a Boost to level 50 before a communal chest
Scrapping for moduls wow, glad I saved all and didn't just left them. 😊
I sell most stuff for 20 caps. 30 caps for really rare stuff. People selling stuff for 6000 caps 🙄🙄🫣 just greedy.
IGN?
Sometimes you have to hustle another 6 g so you can buy some bullion. I don’t blame ppl.
Sometimes it’s worth a laugh though.
I have well over 500 mods on my mule 👍 I had a feeling they'd do this, so I started hoarding. Also, about 1000 modules
I'm happy with my current loadout so, I'm not grinding really hard for mods. When I sell mods, they're super cheap. Why? Because I can. 😅
Man Bethesda sure know how’s to make a grind. 120 legendary mods per 4 star effect to craft… literally 24 days worth of max scrip conversion if you don’t do the raids.
My inventory is always loaded with box mods. This is gonna be something!
I have that many box mods that I prefer to get rid of them to free up space on my stash , i price them low to get rid of anything I don’t want , caps are easy at my level so I don’t want to sound self righteous but I would prefer to help people out as some item prices in the fallout economy has been tossed on its head
Right the whole point of a mmo is to help players get end game unfortunately I don’t know how replicate plans for players
I let mine go for reasonable prices don't like overcharging I believe everybody should have a chance to play and enjoy the game
Right because 40k caps for a half decent mod isn’t high enough 😂😂😂
Buy assaultron keycards and give the server an easy 5 legendary modules each
I do this all the time, I think I have 15 to 20 keycards, as soon as my caps are over 30k I buy a couple just so I can still sell in my vendor.
Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll have an opportunity any time soon to even witness a 4 star module for a while now let alone own a 4 star weapon or armor piece but thanks west for all you do!!🤙🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Are you on psn, xbox or pc?
If you are on PC, list your IGN.
@@nameredacted1242 I’m on Xbox series X
@@Legion-m7m PC. Can't help you.
@ Thank you anyway tho👍🏼
Need to make the cap limit more instead of 40k
100K would be nice lol.
@MrWestTek yeah definitely would lol
@MrWestTek but still less than I have in my mules
4 star = 12 modules...cool I can finally put those 3 Battle Loaders 4stars i have rotting to use!!!
been doing this myself gobbling up every box mod I can find
So I’m still not getting the mods I want through scrapping, I don’t have a ton of Caps and you’re saying that people should stop selling mods or bump up the prices massively, yea that’s fun.
It’s not the first time he has put out a recommendation for high prices on vendors goods.
Scrapping likelihood went went WAY down imo
Patch is still 2 months away (Mid March), there's no rush.
Start March 3rd
Its tomorrow. I guess you missed the patch announcement? 21st of January
@takewhataway that is a maintenance patch not what he was talking about the changes to scraping legendary boxes just went to PTS it would be at least 2 weeks after that to allow both Sony and Microsoft to do in house test
@@Givensumo hm. I might group a lot of changes for tomorrow...the youtubers havent been pretty clear about which ones will take effect tomorrow or later sometime
There's no stash space for me anyway. I drop a lot of legendary modules i dont need in the whiteprings malls. Other people who need them have been taking them coz they all gone very soon
You charge to much for items
Good bye aristocrat builds
I see a lot of generosity in this game and I appreciate it greatly not being able to play as much as I'd like but see a lot that makes me wonder. See people still selling purified water for 10 caps each, then I see plenty of people selling serums for under 400 each but then others still charging 2k for them 🤷♂️
@@adamh.9178i sell serums for 200 and nobody buys them...mods are different story, they always dissapear from my vendor quickly
Good tip. Currently sitting on 1300 plus modules which will go quick once I get the ability to make some good 4 star mods.
All from raids?
@@nameredacted1242 Actually double checked 2400 as of last night. It was around 1300 before the raids started.
I’ve been playing for about a month now, and I have a hard time keeping caps. I don’t have many weapon plans or even mods and I haven’t even touched the raid. I’m so far behind and I feel like I’ll never catch up, especially now
What console do you play on?
if you are on PC I can help you
@ unfortunately, I’m on ps5. Thank you for offering
Keeping mine priced the same for now, I'd rather them be available to others. I'm keeping them on the 1000,2250,3500. I can't make 4 stars yet.
i transfer items to my alt characters through the private server. all my alts are at the Whitesprings Railroad Station. i fast travel over there, put whatever i want to transfer into the blue suitcase, exit the server, change characters and re-enter the same private server. just be careful when going back in; don't spam the x button or you can accidentally enter the public server and lose your items. i don't have any friends i play with, so this is the method i use.
I would suggest to do this with a trusted friend into a public (but hidden) container, it is safer. A single accidental click or internet going down, and you lose your items.
I got my suit now so I’m basically waiting for the update
Oh dayum, unyielding ss with +2 intelligence will be mine!
i feel like this is telling the fallout community to go against what has made them one of the best. Especially coming from a level 10000 come on now.
What level are your characters?
i think they play with the drop rate for sure.
Something is just not right with this mr west tech .
Everyone has their own price range.. i think anything priced over 3k is a scam because you will be broke so fast doing that. Therefor i call them scams. I sell my stuff cheap so players can have a fun experience without burning a hole in their wallet and be broke within seconds
what are some of the best 4 star Mods for ranged weapons
I generally sell it by ear. I still get alot through grind.
I just dump them in donation boxes, maybe if the game was hard I'd hang on to them!
The amount of modules you need to craft anything is pretty crazy. Even to add 3 random legendaries cost 15 modules. For 3 random mods. Gross. Should be what the old system was imo 1 star = 1 module so on.
I bet if you wanted you could do a solid Morty Smith voice impression.
I’ve been thinking of starting the game but I’m so intimidated by how long it’s been out. Is it still worth it to pick up this game as a beginner?
Yes it's an amazing game and the community is awesome
How to prepare: By not playing a game that is almost impossible to finish the content on because of crashes (Expeditions and Gleaming Depths)
The comments give me hope. I’m high lv too (not grinded WT for years tho) and I already think mods prices are crazy. And I do need to spend my caps. I recently started another okay through and in my experience high lvs are the worst. No help to get, not even a wave sometimes… and prices? Ridiculous! And why really when you have everything?
I haven't been on in a while is holyfire still good its my favorite weapon
Yeah, with pyromaniac it's killer👌
Yea what baggy said, even better now with pyromaniac
@@bagg3y Yup, brought out my holy fire when pyro dropped for me a few weeks ago. What annoys me is my enclaves have a "flamer" barrel but no fire damage so pyros has no effect on it? Flamer = fire???
Good luck finding any good mod's in player vendor"s after the update! 😭😭
Struggling right now!
So after the update I will be able to craft a lot more of the most desired box mods I learned instead of donating undesirable mods. 👍
I have been selling my unwanted mods for 400c I need the space (mule full) but now new mules are holding what WAS on sale.
Ive never unsubbed from a channel so fast.
i have so many im selling them for 200 caps hahahaha but i cleared my vendor after your previous video haha.
Is this change coming in this Tuesday's patch? I though this wasn't coming until March.
March.
After doing 150 plus full RAIDS I have like 1600 modules now. I can't sell them since I'm full of caps and I have like stacks of 1, 2, 3 and 4 stars now. 6 Gatling Plasma stinging cores. The raids have overloaded everything.... lol The RAIDS changed everything!
The only ones that I have been selling is the ones I can make otherwise I save as many as possible
Dang everyone in the comments saying they support new players
Try bloodied build. You will die a lot more often, but level up quicker. Till level 500 or so with Gattling Minigun, Gattling Plasma, etc type weapons, yeah high level enemies are annoying.
1:48 let lower levels be able to use em for different build options. 🤷♂️. If you get enough of em then sell em to players that haven’t been able to get em yet.
Is this coming on the 21st or is this coming with the ghoul update?
March
Yeah no there already overpriced and all my mules are already full up they can't even pick anything up or use chems
I'm the damn $1 tree in fallout. All items are 1 cap at my vendor. Someone just came and bought 800 stimpaks lmfao
Are you special you're literally telling people they should raise prices that has to be one of the dumbest things I've heard did it ever cross your mind that people sell mods for low prices to make easy profit or because they are just trying to get rid of them
Been hoarding box mods you get legendary cores after scrap after 21st
Thank goodness 🙏
I’ve bought 20k for mods all under 500 caps each. Lots under 200. I can probably craft a full set of reflective when this comes out
It’s an open market, if you can’t save up or grind for it, or you don’t have the hours in, you don’t get it lol
Could you do a video on the fallout storyline so far of what's gonna be happening in the wasteland of Appalachia? I played since beta on PS4 stopped playing after the Cryptid events, just got back to catch up on the new nuke boss and raids.
People selling things really high are scum
I just downloaded the game, and I'm going to start later today, leaves some tips for me so I get better quick I'll read every comment!
Still, it keeps crashing, freezing, graphic failour everywhere, not enough camp capacity, aromshop items keep repeating and no new map in sight.
I bought a 3 star for 50 caps once lol
I think you forgot to link that video in the description.
Oops, good catch! I'll get that fixed asap ;)
The update is coming in March correct???
@@kronik815 March 3rd
@Givensumo thanks for the info much appreciated
Yes plenty of time. But PTS is already on, and all YT’ers are drooling like crazy 😅
Good, my stash is going to clear up if I keep my prices low. 😁
Do levels reset like in other seasonal games?
I always price everything lower in my vendor. Nothing annoys me more than people with highly inflated prices! Just taking the piss sometimes.
I can't wait for this update.😇 also discord gang 🎉
#DiscordGang
As a new player...this is so overwhelming... i just hit lvl50 from questing...
Do the events you'll level up faster
Got some many box mods and I never need caps allway at max ,been selling 1 star 450 caps and 2 stars 500 just to get rid of them .all just mods I don't use, but saving all 3 and 4 stars
Same, it helps keep storage weight down by just moving them at reasonable prices.
I got a choo choo. Completely useless just sitting there
One choo choo is all you need they dont stack
The amount i uave theown away is massive
Is this tomorrow’s update or march’s update? Everyone is posting this stuff like we are getting it on the 21 but I have other people tell me no not until march! Which is it?
