My everyday regimen that helped me get glowing, spotless skin in a short amount of time:
    - Start with a glass of warm water on an empty stomach.
    - Wash face with besan powder and rose water pack, then pat dry.
    - Apply litttllextra rice berry vitamin c face serum for a glowing complexion and hydration.
    - At night, use milk and turmeric mix on face, then wash off and use toner and aloe vera gel.
    - Always go for greens, fruits, nuts, seeds, and work out 4-5 times a week or practice yoga.

This vitamin C serum from riceberry works well. It doesn't feel sticky and absorbs within seconds. It made my skin glow and faded dark spots.

Just wanted to give you a heads up about Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate vs Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate which have a different structure (potentially significant difference in ability for the skin to utilise these chemicals). For whatever reason the names seem to be used interchangeably by many brands. They do have the same molecular weight and seem to have been registered under the same CAS number, which doesn’t help either. But, they are not the same chemical. In cosmetics you actually want Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, based on safety and efficacy data, hence the cost. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate on the other hand has very little efficacy and safety data. Hope this helps :)

I have a question, we are all being told to use Vit C in the morning to protect against free-radicals and optimize sun protection. I personally use Skinceuticals Vit C in the morning.
Many awesome anti aging day creams/serums includes multiple peptides. Peptides and Vit C cancel each other out and should not be used together
(At least thats what new research shows).
So how do we protect ourself against daily free radicals (vit C) and still get the anti aging daily benefits of peptides in daily creams/serums? Thank you

I'd like too know too. My day and night cream have both peptides , silly me. But for n9w still figuring which Vit C i'll use. I don't want à peeling and no burning feeling. I"m a coward cause some people had really bad réactions.

The GR Guava Vit C doesn't have niacinamide. GR has a separate niacinamide serum in a similar bottle. I love the GR Guava Vit C serum. My skin is sensitive to LAA & I haven't been able to find a LAA formula that doesn't irritate my face. But, I love the GR formula & have repurchased it many times. I limit fragrance in my face skincare because some scents give me a headache. I have never had an issue with GR. The scent comes from the natural scents of the ingredients & is subtle.

Now my holy grail is with one small brand from Hungary, Geek and Gorgeous! It’s ok at 15%, fresh production batch, easy for me to get it since I live in Italy! Any kind of serum I’ve used I’ve mixed with ferulic by the ordinary, snd since it is oily , it’s great to mix and ensure the absorption! Niacinamide follows and Spf! It’s takes so long to reach at this point, and my skin is really happy! Much love Doc ! Xoxo

I hate it when they add colour! I bought the new It Cosmetics vitamin C serum, as the ingredients are the same as the Vichy vitamin C ampules. The IT Cosmetics one is cheaper AND it came in a occlusive pump bottle that lets no light or air in. I was so excited about it, but it came out orange from the start! I have no clue if its oxidised or not, and it annoys the hell out of me 😐 Why would they do that?? For all I know the bottle is a dud and it's already oxidised.

THDA and ATIP are probably my two favorite derivatives. I'm currently testing and liking the 35 % Vitamin C Serum from SobelSkinRx: that one contains 3-O ethyl ascorbic acid, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, and ascorbyl glucoside. The texture on it is nice, too: I find a lot of products with high levels of 3-O ethyl ascorbic acid are often in organic solvent bases, which tend to sting on my skin after shaving, but the SobelSkinRx one is like a lightweight lotion and non-irritating. The Glow Recipe one sounds neat, so I may give that one a try in the future 😁

I'm wondering what us the ph of those serums? Bc tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate works around pH 5 and sodium ascorbyl phosfate works around 7. So 1 of those forms is inactive, isnt working.

    • @traepalmer
      @traepalmer ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@EspadasYCopas it's slightly below 5. I can only find one source that recommends a pH of 7 to avoid hydrolysis of SAP, but even then, it's probably the derivative I care least about, so I don't really care if it degrades. Also, it's only one serum I have that employs SAP, and that one also uses EAA, THDA, and AA2G, so it's not reliant on SAP to function.
