I've bought a bunch of stuff from you guys, but come on velox!! $125 USD for a piece of metal and a new pedal stopper! Christ almighty. Thought this was a no brained till I saw the price.
I don't know if I want the clutch pedal and throttle pedal moved up or if I want the brake pedal pushed back. If I get comfortable with the brake pedal I can't clutch all the way down easily, if I get comfortable with the clutch the steering rack gets in the way of my knee. And than I definitely can't effortlessly blip the throttle. The STi feels great. WRX not as much with the pedals
I bought this and installed it. Honestly, don't waste your money. Just make your own spacer of about 10mm, that's all you need. I really didn't like how thick this spacer was. It's way overpriced.
just wanted to update my own post... I went back to this velox spacer and been running it for a few weeks now. I really like it now. Like they say, there is an adjustment period during which it'll feel unnatural and stupid at first, but afterwards you just won't do without it! I highly recommend this spacer now. I just got annoyed with it at first and took it off without giving it enough time. Makes a huge difference in heel-toe and overall throttle feel.
Is this something that would make the every day driving of the car better/easier/more convenient, or is it more of a race/track oriented type of thing?
So do I to an extent but not in the same way as I do when I'm trying to drive spiritedly. I just wonder if it compromises the feel of stock and makes it feel kind of weird making your leg come towards you and if that makes it feel less natural like you can't relax as much, etc. Or maybe it just makes everything feel better and even lets you drive smoother during calm daily driving. That's what I don't know.
Gonna try this soon! The pedal is so close to the transmission tunnel and my feet are so narrow that its impossible for me to do heel to toe. Hopefully this works for me!
ARomanRacing have you tried it yet? If so what's your thoughts? If not has anyone else tried this yet? Damn it's pricey but it does look like a handy upgrade.
Jeff J I haven't yet, but I will soon. Track season doesn't really start back till around March so I am not in a hurry to get it, but when I do, I will make sure to make a video on it
I'm curious about the safety of this product, does it work with weather tech floor mats and will it void any warranties from Subaru ? Would also love to see this in action as well!
Come on, guys. Anyone who tracks their WRX and has done heel and toe knows that the pedal height differential is so the throttle and brake are equal in height when under heavy braking. This part was designed by people who don't know what heel and toe are about.
And back in the day I used to wrap a rag around the throttle pedal with duct tape...lol 😂

Great video subispeed! All love
r u kidding me. its $125 dollars :(
I feel like the same affect of bringing it close can be achieved with a couple washers behind the pedal assembly
Probably, but look at that beautiful piece of CNC and anodized aluminum! ;)

Aaron Dragg ...makes rev matching easier when driving, you don't need rev matching driving easy only when spirited driving
I rev match ever time I drive.

ARomanRacing have you tried the verus engineering throttle pedal spacer yet? You’re though on it?
Looks pretty interesting!

Your before and after is mixed up

will this fit for audm wrx?
is this only for subies?
Can its fit the 05 subie
Will this fit the 2018?
Vladimir Rodriguez yes
Cant for the life of me justify the cost of this thing
So this appears to move the gas pedal side to side. Does it move it closer to the driver as well?
Yes
How universal is this piece? Would it fit a Hyundai Veloster?
"rev matching while heel toe downshifting" Do you know what heel toe is?
No idea
