    I thought the height offset with the gas and brake pedal was to make heel-toe easier under heavy braking, you know when heel toe is most useful.

      @Stigmaru 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Agreed. Heel toe has always been easier when you're braking and sliding the foot over. Bringing the pedals level could be fine for light normal day driving but might be annoying when you need to heel toe while attacking a corner.

      @@Stigmaruthe one solution is just change the master cylinder and make the brake hard as shit so its the same pedal height for both daily and track driving

      Agreed... The pedal is meant to be lower. When braking they are even. I don't get this mod.

    Just installed and getting ready to test out. I would suggest to install the Cusco pedal to the stock one while the pedal assembly is off. It will save your neck and about 15 minutes contorting to snug down the hex nuts to the 7mm bolt. As noted you don't need the pedal stopper supplied. It doesnt appear to stress the pedal links when smashed to the floor at 100% throttle. Might want to edit the video regarding this. Great video. Thanks!

    The versus part brings the gas pedal almost the same height as the brake pedal. I don’t know how you do heel toe with that unless you always blip when you are almost fully release the brake. It’s not gonna be useful for heel toe under heavy braking, especially on the track. Even on the street the stock height difference is already good enough.

    I have a 2018 brz and a 2022 GR86. No clue why you feel the oem steering needs to be replaced in 2022? I love the 2022 GR steering wheel. It’s thicker than the earlier model, they used a slightly softer foam and softer leather wrap. Spending $300-$400 for a wheel with suede is a waste. Instead buy the door stabilizers. I have them in my 2018 brz and they are great. They fill the gap between the door and frame. Agree with boost333 on the pedals. The position is fine for heel toe.

    Ya'll must have some little bitty feet. I find the gas and brake almost too close together. Heel toe is super simple as is. I do like the clutch spring though. I put mine in with less than 500 miles on the car a few months back. Makes the car much easier to shift smooth.

    With this installed on my 9.5 shoe it is still not tall enough. Im not sold on the verus, i think cusco could have made the padding taller. Another 1/4 inch would prolly do it. May jimmy rig it w longer screws and more of that semi foam rubber ..

    I'm about to put both of these on my car. One thing I noticed in this video, the Verus website says that with the pedal spacer for the 2022 brz/gr86 doesn't need the stop to be swapped out. I'm not sure what the difference is, I'll compare them in a few minutes. But it's in big red lettering right under the description for the product

      @@86Speed they're definitely different sizes. The supplied stop is a little bit thicker than the oem one but not much really. I left the oem one on for now and I'll just keep my foot off the floor for the time being. I sent them an email to ask for a bit of clarification

      @@86Speed they emailed me back this morning and confirmed that the 2022's don't need the provided pedal stop. Apparently with the aftermarket stop on, you won't be able to get 100% throttle. I'm going to try to figure out why that is because honestly it's not making sense in my head

    I’m a very short person, standing at 4’11”. When I drive, I’m quite close to the steering wheel. I was wondering if there’s a way to extend the clutch pedal in my Subaru BRZ. Since I’m so short, I need the clutch to be positioned higher so I can reach it comfortably. Fully extending my legs every time I drive is difficult, and I’m looking for a solution.

    Don't attach the cusco pedal in the footwell, it's a pain in the ass. Just remove the 2 bolts and the cable clip attaching the pedal to the car, then take the pedal somewhere more comfortable to attach the pedal cover.
