Totally brilliant by Mr. Bobby Darin….. He was such a multi-talented genius who had these impressions down perfectly including the facial expressions…. Not only a singing entertainer, actor, self taught musician Bobby did anything and everything that he put his mind to and succeeded each and every time…. From the early age of four in mid 1950's I have loved Bobby's vocals, songs, also the songs he wrote himself, his arrangements, everything told a story….. Bobby had this exceptional ability to tell you this wonderful story drawing you the pictures, have you imagine it was for you alone, then sing as if it were you to whom he was singing, but he is the only one that could your inner depths of heart and soul, for me anyway….. Even now I close my eyes and it is as if Bobby is right here beside me in the room, his words always bring me to tears….. He taught many life lessons through out his life not realising he was doing just that…. Bobby Darin has always been my hero and still remains so today…. The man in my book is the greatest entertainer this planet has had the opportunity to witness and there is only one of him, Bobby Darin….. Bobby left other singers in his wake far out shining them all, what a true magical master genius who took full charge of his own destiny very early in his life and continued doing so right through to the end…… Bobby left such a wealth of work behind, what a legacy, what an exceptional human being…… Thank you for this gem in time…. Thank you for the years of precious memories Bobby, you are loved, remembered still far beyond the stars and the moon forever more…. RIP BOBBY DARIN !!!!
Ive always liked his music. I never really saw his act until lately.. my goodness .....WHAT A TALENT!! He could do EVERYTHING. BEST OF ALL OF THEM ..Funny, can act, musically and scholastically a genius IQ. Great dancer..so talented....the world lost an amazing talent and good human being. Great!!!
I love Bobby Darin's music. Bobby Darin has been my favourite singer/enterainer since I was a 4 year old child and still is today. This exceptionally gifted and talented young man out shone everyone in the entertainment industry. He could do everything, nothing was out of his grasp. His comedic timing was perfect. Given Bobby Darin was able to swing, snap, dance, write songs, arrange music, play a number of musical instruments, do comedy so effortlessly, was a wonderful actor. He could do the things that some of the so called big guys couldn't. Bobby was his own man and had a vision of what he wanted and needed to achieve which he did beautifully. Bobby made his mark in the music industry and it's history in a huge way, putting together a fantastic wealth and body of works that is his legacy for prosperity. Sadly Bobby passed far too soon from this life, his music and movies are here for his huge fan family to enjoy to this day. Bobby Darin is deeply missed, always remembered and forever loved to the stars and beyond. 💖 Bobby Darin you are still the man who showed the world how it was to be done and how. Rest in Eternal Peace Bobby Darin, I miss you deeply, you knew how to touch my heart and soul in songs, those beautiful words always bring me to tears. Not sure, but I do believe he didn't do impressions all that much. Hard to understand why because he's fantastic, as he does impressions better than most entertainers who only do impressions!!!! This guy was simply off the charts!!!!
What a talented young man, so unfortunate that God took him so soon. I just saw the Kevin Spacey movie, I didn't realize how really hard it was on Bobby Darin to preform and how sick he really was. But I am grateful for all these clips and the fact that he is still here to make us smile and all we have to do is watch one of his movies or listen to his amazing music. Talent doesn't die.
Never seen the Spacey movie and never will. An old guy playing a young guy is enough info for me to forget its existence from when I first heard about it.

Heart problems evident here. Breathlessness is a song-killer, but Bobby overcame for as long as he could. He should've taken the antibiotics before the valve surgery.
I am a massive Bobby Darin fan but I gotta admit these impressions are very amateurish and it does his image no good because of it. But when it comes to singing….ain’t he wonderfully brilliant? It’s the songs we’ll remember and I’m gonna forget the impressions as they don’t do Bobby justice.
