    Blimey what a lucky find! At first I thought it was someone mimicking John Cooper-Clark, or maybe the Simply Loveleh site, but no, you are the real deal a witty and knowledgeable with a real skill in presentation. “Spiritual, but not religious” I am hooked!

      After educating myself on the aforementioned, it was like finding, not one but, two songs everyone seems to know but, you?? or… just like when a mate called round to get me, age 15 and a 1/2 I might add, and caught me recording a song I’d just written about the usual angst at that age, on my Dads Alba, yes Alba folks, no Denon tech on this hi-fi tape deck, I’ll tell thi’ and me thinking I’m really original, feeling really great, cos he actually loved it too, despite the wow and flutter, to my complete and utter surprise. You know, just one guy, a guitar and yes, having bought this weird looking, chromed, harmonica stand so I can play it, sing, strum and stand at the mic, all at the same time, original right? Him saying, well you sound just like Bob and I’m like who…. Nah not them… Bob Dylan and after hearing his brothers collection, the early Tom Wilson produced stuff, was like wow and was hooked too. John Cooper-Clarke actually used to look like Dylan in the 80’s which reminded me of that story. This hobby is such fun and labels aside I’m just expressing myself with the tools available. I liked the Kazoo too but, that was a free toy in The Beano right. I mean I’m a serious grown up musician right? Now I’m a serious grown up modeller too so, does that mean we have to stop having fun… pass me that Kazooooooo 😂

      @@modeloco you are proper daft! I’d have been round with me guitar like a flash. A mate made me a harmonica bracket out of a wire coat hanger! Brilliant I could now fail to sound like my hero Rory Gallagher twice at the same time! Great review of Caroline, which even in Rail Bleugh, is a lovely model with a fabulous story. but gram for gram, a Lamborghini might be cheaper. I’m on catch up of you now!

      Thank you. It is one I always wanted and yes, very niche and unique. A complete train with one locomotive and one coach 👍

      @bigfella1952 Your comments are always very much appreciated and yes, The Artism Gallery and the beach there are well worth a visit. Great little cafe in the village and the gallery does allow you to make a brew. All donations kindly accepted and a wonderful family team. Amazing what they’ve achieved. Don’t forget the church built on a small island which is quite something to see and since my house to shed update, I’m informed their purpose built shed for the local enthusiasts to show their layout, may well be inspiring a similar extension. A real gallery space with real local artists’. Real character and still a real village. Free parking is always a good sign it’s got a healthy soul and not being monetised.
      I’m watching things unfold too, on here with the same signals beginning to ring a few of the same bells 🔔

    This is the version I wanted , missed out first time around. Thanks for your information regarding it being back in stock , I’ve just ordered mine , now need a class 33 or 73 .

      @@peterthacker4959 Hi Peter, It certainly brings any scene to life and for a complete train only needs a locomotive. Indeed I need a 33 or 73 now too. For me a 33 I’d say 👍

      Thanks Tim. My passing acknowledgment to the smaller scale with big potential that I love to watch in the Mac Cave. Lots to be done on both sides of dual scaling and love having that creativity to look forward to as well. There’s just been so many great innovations coming at us from all sides and this unit I’ve had for quite some time now, I felt, deserved a closer inspection with so many conflicting thoughts out there on Which, What, Where, How, etc. it’s a truly unique model 👍

    If you want a laugh, look up the ESU 36040 and 36041 Disco coaches from 2017 and Trix HO 23490 which was similar from around the same time. The gesellschaftswagen could be rented for works trips and family outings - sound in coaches is not really needed but these coaches were unique.

    Hi, great informative video of one of the best coaches I’ve ever seen, I have the same coach as you which was the only one for me, I was put off by the price at first until I viewed all the videos on the Caroline coach I could find, these amazing coaches are a very limited run and won’t be produced again. These coaches are going for premium prices now, Bachmann do dbso coaches in a few liveries, the DRS model is an collectors club limited model and the Network Rail yellow livery model was a run of 1000 give or take, they are great coaches but not as refined as the Revolution Trains offering, I believe Accurascale will have some coaches in the future with similar characteristics but the magic wand control of the lighting is a bit budget in my opinion, thanks for sharing.

      Good to hear from you again trust you’re well. Did fall for it from first seeing it. It’s a belter and ordered when it came back on tap, as on eBay the cheapest I could find were about 185 new/secondhand if very lucky in an auction. It shows what can be done and there’s gotta be more than just ££££ driving you on. Ben and Mike have shown this here. I love the history of it too. It really packs a punch and yes, a price tag that the logical mind can fight over forever I guess. Coupled with a loco, it oozes that head turning, double take for me, like anything beautiful does 😍

      @@modeloco Hi, I totally agree that this is an ultra detailed piece of art, the best coach of 2023 and beyond, I did think about buy it for a while then I realised it was selling out fast, I managed to get this model from Rainbow Railways which is a great retailer that has served me very well over the years.
      If your having issues with the stay alive not charging have you looked at the cv’s on the decoder when a stay alive has been fitted, I have a lokpilot and a stay alive to fit into mine, I did read some where that the decoder should be set before the stay alive is fitted, mind you this could be the TTS decoder that’s factory fitted in my Hornby class 08 shunter that I’ve fitted directional and cab lights into, the dcc concepts stay alive I fitted at first wasn’t fit for purpose, I’ve now upgraded to a Lais stay alive recommended for the Hornby TTS decoder, just got to make time to sort it all out, keep the videos coming and stay safe, thanks for sharing.

      @StormmyStormmy Rainbow 🌈 Railways I’ll certainly have a look at as I’m after a new Bachmann and Model Railways Direct also seems very good on post times too. I do have a rather big Bachmann pre-order in mind that one retailer, I’ve used in the past seems to be losing touch with over some pricing, stock and not responding to non-sale queries.

    • @StormmyStormmy
      @StormmyStormmy หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@modeloco Hi, Model Railways Direct have great sales every now and then, you do have to look around for some great deals these days, Rails of Sheffield are ok on new items but horrendously expensive on secondhand items as they believe modellers always check out secondhand prices which are normally very expensive even eye watering even when the same items are still being produced and are a lot cheaper, I urge all modellers to look around and not get ripped off by the sharks and dreamers that pray on modellers, what we need in the hobby is a fair price guideline structure that will state what an items worth also trading in models at retailers should be a last resort because they will take advantage of you even more, I hope you get the bargains you deserve, take care mate.
