How can all these people get called in to vote on an issue on which they haven't bothered to listen to the arguments for and against. Something is seriously wrong with the operation of our Senate and maybe the other House too.
When a senator can't even read a pre-written speech properly, its pretty obvious she hadn't read it first or even perhaps had no idea what was in it. I don't know which party she represents but what the hell is someone like that doing in Parliament at all?
