I am the crazy uncle lol, i lost count of tape at about 75 rolls, it wasnt much more probably only about 80, it is 100% electrical tape, that ball was started about 15 years ago, and was finished about 12 years ago, it sat in my closit for many years and my nephew and nieces seemed to like it so I gave it to them.
Every 5-10 rolls I torched it to tighten it.
The dream was when I was like 10-13 years old I wanted something to drop from a helicopter, but this was cool too lol.
Thanks for the video, I was described very well haha!

MAKE A GIANT PAIR OF SCISSORS with the waterjet and then MAIL THEM TO PETER SRIPOL so he can make them fly. WE WANT TO SEE GIANT SCISSORS FLY! And on top of that, making Giant Scissors will be fun for you guys to play around with all the prototypes. You can start by first cutting Water melons, bunches of bananas, tennis balls, someone's hair and beard and what ever else you can think of! You might need to put a ball bearing in the pivot point so that it has low enough friction that it can be powered. Also to make it light enough to fly you might need to make it out of aluminum with steel inserts to cut with. Your 5 axis machine should be able to create almost the perfect shape of scissors to cut out so there is minimal machining work to be done to finish it up. And if there is more work to be done send it over to This Old Tony to get them working perfectly!
