Why does the vudeo at around 2mins put the white back in the put a round silver plate across top and tighten the 5 screws only to loosen them again ? Then put the motor back in , it makes the instructions very confusing as the things u do in sequence seems not exactly how you would do it , sure you would not tighten acrews to loosen them again ?
@@Oceanbluemoss And that was probably their rationale, but that is lousy engineering. You don't create air gap around a motor and then seal it with enclosure. Let the heat radiate and you either can use more power or use a smaller lighter motor.

The round silver plate is the tool
@@tongsheng1998 You should put there 1mm thermal plate for massively better heat transfer.
@dzidmail I myself have never experienced over heating issues with this motor and I'm always on level 4

I have the 750w motor stock firmware and my motor burnt out going up a hill. You need the cooling mod or lower power limit (400w)
The 4 screw on the pltor are ridiculously tight
You can try hard or considering the electrical tools.
Do I have to buy a new pinion bearing if I want to put the brass spur gear in as a replacement? Cheers
